Fabrice Pellegrin, born and raised in Grasse, France, carries perfumery in his blood. He comes from a family of perfumers, jasmine gatherers, and suppliers of natural products. His passion for perfumery is deeply rooted in the community and the landscape of Grasse. In his words: "The people of Grasse keep their precious knowledge carefully hidden, but when they share it, they give it in full". Fabrice began his career with Robertet and Mane, where he created iconic fragrances for prestigious brands such as Thierry Mugler, Diptyque, l’Occitane and Hermès. Later, he joined Firmenich in 2008, where his success story continued with brands such as L’Oréal, Clarins, Coty and Puig. He has also worked with numerous exclusive niche brands such as Armani Privé, By Kilian, Jo Malone, Courrège, Reminiscence, L’Artisan Parfumeur and Dear Rose. Fabrice’s experience is not limited to his creative talent, but also includes his command of natural ingredients and his passion for the legacy of perfumery in Grasse. He has been involved in the development of natural products for more than 15 years and splits his time between Paris and the research laboratories in Grasse. In his words: "Perfumery is constantly redesigning, rewriting and setting trends". Fabrice is a generous master who believes in passing on his expertise to future generations. He thinks that "it’s important that we share our knowledge by exchanging ideas and being open. Nobody owns the truth". Despite his success and recognition in the industry, Fabrice stays grounded and connected with his clients. He values contact with them, and many refer to him as their "lucky star". Fabrice believes that "in our business, destiny really plays a role. It dictates when we create something new and it has a part in our time, whether too soon, too late or right at the right moment". Fabrice’s work speaks for itself, as his outstanding creativity and distinctive signature have contributed to the success of numerous iconic fragrances. In 2017, he was honored with the annual Oscar from the French professional magazine Cosmétique Mag and named "Perfumer of the Year". Fabrice’s passion for perfumery, his mastery of natural ingredients, and his dedication to passing on his knowledge make him a true inspiration in the industry.
