  What do I think of Electric Rose? At first, I only smelled alcohol, but after 10 minutes, it smelled of fresh roses, vermouth, and anise, though not very intense. An hour later, wow! Soft citrus roses with a really good scent. It doesn’t resemble my other roses, so it’s worth it. Maybe I tested the Collector Edition on the same day, which made me not appreciate it properly. Longevity is moderate; it’s an EDT that leaves a soft, fresh trail.

  Electric Rose smells like alcohol at first, but after 10 minutes, it turns into fresh roses with vermouth and anise; by an hour, it explodes into soft, noticeable citrus roses. It doesn’t smell like my other roses—it’s distinct and has convinced me. Maybe I didn’t appreciate it the day I tried the Collector Edition and bought it. Its longevity is moderate; it’s an EDT that leaves a fresh, soft trail.

  Very soft for a relaxed and romantic day. In the heat it fades a lot; it’s perceived more in cool or cold climates, but there’s no sillage to identify it.

  A very original fragrance; it’s not the typical perfume you smell everywhere. To me, the violet seems to be the note that stands out the most, and besides, it has a dry, spicy aroma, perhaps due to the anise, which gives it a touch of originality. It’s floral due to the rose as well, and the little touch of lemon is perceived subtly. Recommended for the office, and although I like wearing it on hot days, I’d dare to say it’s timeless, able to be worn in any season.

  I bought it blindly on discount at a perfumery without testing it first; being from the Very Irresistible line, I thought I’d have familiarity with the others, and I was wrong. It’s not that I didn’t like it, I just find it simpler than the classic pink Very Irresistible. It’s original, not very widespread, and that’s a plus for Electric Rose. I’d say it’s for girls between 20 and 40, very confident yet feminine and modern; if that’s the most precise adjective: it’s a modern, urban fragrance. I think it’s ideal for going out with friends or dancing.

  I made this purchase blindly because there was a discount at the perfumery and there were no testers, and being a fragrance from the Very Irresistible line, I thought it would have great familiarity with the others in that line, and I was wrong; however, it’s not that I didn’t like it, I just notice it’s simpler than the classic Very Irresistible (pink). This fragrance is original, it’s not very widespread, and that’s a point in favor of Electric Rose. I’d say it’s for a girl between 20 and 40 years old, very self-assured but very feminine and modern, if that’s the most precise adjective: it’s a modern and urban fragrance. I think it’s for going out with friends or dancing.

  A trip to the past; I used it a long time ago… I found it again today and yes, I added it to my collection. Rich, very rich, fresh at the start with a marked anise that lingers. It leaves a different sillage; maybe the final floral touch gives it the aroma that makes it a sibling to the Very Irresistible. Conclusion: rich, a scent to keep in the closet. Soft sillage but with memory; on the skin it lasts like a good EDT. If you can get it… do it, you won’t regret it.

  Time travel! I used it a long time ago and found it again today to add to my collection. It’s delicious, very fresh at the start with a marked anise that lingers. It leaves a different trail; maybe the final floral touch gives it the aroma that makes it familiar with Very Irresistible. Conclusion: delicious, a scent to keep in the closet. The trail is soft but with memory; on the skin, it lasts like a good EDT. If you can get your hands on it… do it, you won’t regret it.

  It’s a fresh and serene fragrance. On my skin, it sounds like iced green tea without ice, with flower petals and quite a few tart berries. I don’t perceive the rose, as I usually have issues with this note in perfumes (though I can smell fresh roses perfectly). In the base, for some mysterious reason, I hear sugared violet. Sprayed generously, it lasts on my skin up to 8 hours; there’s no sillage. It doesn’t tolerate heat or air conditioning well: it disappears. The designer of the beautiful silvered rose bottle is the Argentine Pablo Reinoso. But I find nothing electric in this pleasant and soothed aroma… My eldest daughter, who loves green florals, adored it, and I gifted it to her. Now she’s finishing the 75 ml bottle and wants another.

  Well, yesterday I wore it again after trying it many times for a friend who asked for my opinion, and suddenly I smelled it differently. Until yesterday, every time I smelled it, a sharp note of juicy green rose stem, green, green, green, made me lose my cool. It seemed grating, sharp, acidulous, almost like an attack… I didn’t understand how they described it as “fresh and serene”; it was an affront to me. I had offered it in swaps and even had a listing on Mercado Libre because I was ready to sell it and say we’d never click… And yesterday I felt it so differently. I don’t know how or why, but suddenly I found more familiar notes, a slightly wild rose with an anise touch, but much more beautiful, closer to the “perfumer’s roses” I know, and more similar to its big sister, the Very Irresistible EDT. I’m surprised. Months and months I tested it without success and one day, zing! It cleared up for me. It’s like it’s a totally different perfume. So much so that today I even sprayed it generously… I can’t explain it. The family resemblance is noticeable, but the dry-down sounds a bit different to me; it reminds me of another one but I can’t quite figure out which one… Anyway, I added another perfume to my collection. Haha! Yes, the dry-down of Purplelight makes me think of it.

  I wore it again yesterday after asking a friend for their opinion, and suddenly it smelled different. Until yesterday, every time I smelled it, that juicy, green rose stem note gave me sparks—grating, sharp, almost like an attack. I didn’t understand how they could call it ‘fresh and serene’; it was an outrage! I’d even offered it in swaps and listed it on Mercado Libre to sell because I thought we’d never click. And yesterday, I felt it so differently… I don’t know why, but now it smells like wild rose with a hint of anise, much more beautiful and closer to the perfumery roses I know, even resembling its sibling Very Irresistible EDT. I’m totally surprised. I tested it unsuccessfully for months, and one day, bam! It clicked. It’s like it’s a different perfume. So different that I sprayed it generously today. You can tell it’s related to the family, but when it dries down, it smells different, reminding me of another scent but I don’t know which one. Anyway, I added it to the collection. Oh! I know now, when it dries down from Purplelight, it reminds me of that.

  It’s very similar to the first Very Irresistible, with a wonderful rose. The difference is that this version is fresher, more citrusy. It radiates happiness.

  It’s been discontinued for a while, I think. I bought it once at an importer; it came poorly packaged… I don’t know if it was a knockoff or refilled, anyway, it seemed watery to me. But thinking about the fact that I bought a legitimate one, here goes: a super different perfume, I loved the basil touch and the verbena. That green scent but with the sweetness of rose and a very special violet base. I’m so sorry they took it away; I always look for something similar but there’s nothing. It was the perfect option for me, even though I wasn’t fully convinced by the Very Original XD… maybe I’ll end up buying it, but they don’t seem alike. My comment sounds like a lament XD. Goodbye Electric Rose, I liked getting to know you.

  It was discontinued years ago; I got it from an importer with the packaging completely torn, I don’t know if it was original or refilled, but the smell seemed a bit watery. Still, it’s a super distinct perfume: I loved the basil and vermouth touch, that green scent mixed with the sweetness of the rose and a very special violet base. I’m so sad it’s no longer available; I always look for something similar, but nothing exists like it. It was my perfect option, even though Very Original didn’t convince me as much. Maybe I’ll buy it someday, but nothing resembles it. My comment is a lamentation: goodbye Electric Rose, I loved getting to know you.

  All GIVENCHY fragrances are definitely excellent in scent, composition, longevity, and sillage. Great projection; it lasts me more than 7 hours.   Who came up with stopping this perfume? They’re crazy. It was super original, with basil, and so popular. I went through two bottles and I need it back RIGHT NOW.
