    Ordered from MyOrigines and it was a total fiasco: either it’s a bad clone or it’s gone bad—it smells like rot. They claimed it smelled like a forest, but it’s nothing like that. I don’t know if it’s the bottle or if, since the store doesn’t take responsibility, I can’t return it to try another one. A complete letdown.

  2. Pure earthiness of patchouli roots and herbs. Constant warmth with flashes of dark, deep woody and herbal notes. You need to love earthy perfumes like Cabochard or Magie Noire to enjoy this Patchouli because it’s exaggerated and penetrating. Its beauty lies in creating a very interesting, mysterious, and magical atmosphere. Patchouli has something that draws you in through countless natural, forest-like nuances where you feel like exploring. Use sparingly because the intensity can be overwhelming. Great for layering with other perfumes to add a dark woody depth.
