  • This fragrance is sweet and spring-like; it lasts quite well (at least on my skin). It has absolutely no depth or olfactive opening, but it’s very pleasant for everyday wear. According to the description listed here, it’s different, but I, olfactorily, note it as identical to its predecessor ‘Sparkling Lights,’ just with a slightly different bottle, but essentially it’s the same thing. Maybe my olfactory memory is failing me since I had the old version a couple of years ago; I’d love to know what other girls think of this fragrance; to me, it seems exactly the same…

  • It’s sweet and spring-like, it shows up beautifully on my skin and lasts well, though it lacks a strong opening or depth; perfect for everyday wear. Although the website says it’s different, to me it smells exactly like its predecessor ‘Sparkling Lights,’ just in a new bottle; essentially, it’s the same. Maybe my memory is failing because I owned the old one years ago, but it seems identical to me. What do other girls think?

It’s identical to Lolita Lempicka; I love it, the price is great, and it lasts more than 8 hours. The only downside is that it comes with glitter.

  • Seeing everyone comment on its similarity to Lolita Lempicka really tempts me to try it. 👍🏻 I’m not a fan of the ones with glitter, but lately they’re everywhere.

I ordered this fragrance thinking it was a dupe for Lolita Lempicka. Honestly, I don’t know how that one smells, but I was intrigued to have an idea. In Avon’s catalog lately, they define it as an oriental gourmand (which is why I ordered it, since I love gourmands). However, it seems to me to be an oriental perfume above all, with sandalwood at its peak. I consider it very sexy, bold, even esoteric. I doubt there’s a man who wouldn’t like it or find it attractive, as one could even say it smells somewhat masculine. Its sillage is moderate, and its longevity is more than good considering it’s an economic catalog perfume; I’ve worn it for over 10 hours and it’s still detectable. Now that I’ve been using it for a while, I can say a major downside is the applicator or the thick consistency, as when you spray it, it shoots a stream directly anywhere except where you want it, and it stains the container. It never happened to me to this extent with other fragrances, and I’ve ended up applying it with my hands as the only alternative.

I had this perfume when it first launched, and my first impression was that it smelled different from anything I’d ever smelled before, which made it hard to describe, but I liked it for exactly that reason. You can detect the violet and sandalwood; but for some reason, I preferred it fresh out of the bottle rather than when it dried down. At first, it felt more glamorous—that’s what came to mind. People say it’s very similar to Lolita Lempicka, in case you’re looking for a cheaper dupe. Anyway, I understand Sparkling is already discontinued in Mexico, but there’s another very similar one in Cyzone’s catalog called Dancing Night, and fortunately, they haven’t discontinued it. The longevity and sillage on me are moderate; I see it more for spring and autumn. Edit: I just bought Dancing Night since I wasn’t familiar with it, but the moment I smelled it, it automatically reminded me of Sparkling; they’re about 95-98% similar. The only difference I noticed is that Sparkling was more soapy, while Dancing Night is more powdery; otherwise, they smell identical. I think I preferred Sparkling because of that.

  • Donatellagrosso

I think it’s a great dupe for Miss Dior EDP, a ‘simplified’ version with the key notes: fruity, sandalwood, and a touch of vanilla. Both are fruity and powdery.

I feel like it’s a good dupe for Miss Dior EDP, kind of a ‘simplified’ version. I’d say it has the basic notes (fruity and sandalwood, with a touch of vanilla). Both are fruity and powdery.

  • I have a soft spot for this perfume; I started wearing it when I was 14 or 15. Back then it was called Sparkling Lights and came in a different bottle; they changed the packaging a few years later, but the scent remained the same. It was my party perfume—all my friends remember it, and when they smell it, they say it reminds them of our nights out, that it smells like a ‘boliches’ (as we call discos in Argentina) 🖤 Now at 25, it still feels special to me. It’s very nocturnal, super original, with brutal sillage and projection. The sparkle is dreamy; I have no complaints about it. I’ll always keep it in my collection 🖤 Avon surprises with this raw diamond. P.S.: I never tried the old Lolita Lempicka, but it doesn’t resemble the current version at all.

  • I have so much affection for this fragrance; I’ve worn it since I was 14 or 15 when it was called Sparkling Lights. Even though they changed the bottle, the scent stayed the same. It was my party perfume, all my friends remember it, and smelling it brings back memories of our nights out, which smell like ‘the club’ as we say in Argentina 🖤 At 25, I still see it as special. It’s very nocturnal, super original, with brutal sillage and projection, and a dreamy sparkle. I have no complaints about it. I’ll always keep it in my collection 🖤 Avon surprises with this raw diamond. P.S.: I never tried the old Lolita Lempicka, but it bears no resemblance to the current version.

  • It’s truly different from everything else; exquisite. It feels woody yet very youthful… let’s not even talk about the beauty of its simple, transparent bottle with lilac glitter; it doesn’t need anything else. It projects a lot, and if you’re scared of glitter, it’s quite delicate; as it dries, several glitter particles flake off. I don’t know the designer perfumes it’s claimed to be a dupe for, so I can’t give more specifics, but it’s an amazing perfume, IT IS!

  • Bought it as soon as it launched, but after using it a few times, it made me dizzy—it’s way too heavy. On my skin, the sandalwood is invasive and never stops; mixed with bitter citrus notes like grapefruit and the alcohol, it ends up smelling like mosquito repellent, specifically the Off! Green plastic spray. Nothing like Lolita Lempicka, I repeat, nothing like it.
