Kriska Drama by Natura is an oriental vanilla fragrance for women. Launched in 2017, this composition was created by Verônica Kato and Natasha Côté. The top notes unfold with red fruits, nectarine, pear, apple, and tangerine; the heart reveals praline, jasmine, white flowers, and peony; while the base notes land with patchouli, caramel, vanilla, tonka bean, amber, sandalwood, cedar, and musk.

Fascinating and seductive combination of nuts and candied almonds, mystical patchouli, and suggestive vanilla. Ideal for temperate to cold climates thanks to the tonka bean, amber, and cedar. It awakens compliments from men. I do feel a strong familiarity with Mugler’s Angel with those almonds and sweet patchouli, without becoming cloying or gourmand. Although I find something oriental in Kriska Drama. Important to test before buying, as reading suggests it either delights or disappoints; it doesn’t leave you indifferent. On my pH it has good trail and longevity.

The fragrance is rich; the only thing I’d take away is that menthol note; they should reformulate it. The dry down is very delicious.

  • I adore this perfume; those warm, caramelized notes are exquisite. But it doesn’t last or project practically at all. Is there a similar one that lasts longer?

  • I don’t recommend buying it blind, because some people love it and others hate it. Unfortunately, I don’t like it. Especially in the opening, which I feel is bitter (very woody, heavy patchouli presence, even slightly spicy-mentholated). It has moderate trail, projects for 1 hour, and lasts 6 hours on skin. After 2 hours, that bitter wood softens and timidly the vanilla, tonka bean, and musk appear; patchouli is also felt from the start. I don’t sense fruits or red berries, nor flowers. The only moment I enjoy is after 4 hours, when it softly lingers on the skin as a musky-vanilla scent, something sweet but not excessive. It doesn’t seem feminine or delicate to me, just acceptable for autumn or winter. I’d rate the scent 4/10; I don’t like it but I can use it (especially when mixed). I understand others might adore it, but I repeat: it’s not for blind buying and I do regret it. Edit: I removed it from my collection because I couldn’t stand it.

  • Kriska Drama is a proper amber-vanilla; that’s why it disgusts as much as it delights. The vanilla is oriental, not gourmand, and it’s an adult perfume, slightly camphoraceous. It has a sweet and fresh opening that lasts seconds, followed by a marked patchouli, similar to Mugler’s Angel EDT, but never with the same intensity or longevity; here it lasts mere minutes. Then the fragrance fades and projection drops. In my case, performance was 3-4 hours with a light trail, almost skin scent. Overall, I perceive it as subtle, caramelized, like cherry mints; it’s not overwhelming but pleasant for everyday wear. Of what I’ve tried, this is the most “adult,” considering Kriska is a youthful line. Although I’m talking about regular performance (logical for a cologne), I must say that whenever I wear it, people compliment a “sweet fruity” perfume. It reminded me slightly of Natura’s Luna Rubí, which would be the mature version of Kriska Drama obtained by boosting the spicy accord and lowering the fruity one. Who will like it: lovers of patchouli.

  • Reminds me of Poison Girl EDP but very distant, a distant relative where there’s barely a reminiscence of that sweet, bitter, vanilla, and spicy blend. Here it felt somewhat masculine to me; I think it’s unisex, spicy with character. I found it more interesting than Shock, but neither of them is for me.

  • I bought it blind because people either love or hate it. Luckily, I loved it. Even though I wear it in summer, it has a fresh, almost mentholated opening that I adore, then settles into a sweet smell, like caramelized almonds, without being invasive or too subtle. I recommend it.

  • fauxbeatpoet

I love it! It has nothing to do with Angel, not even remotely. It’s better than Arrasa, which is in my top 5 of Natura. Kriska Drama puts me in a happy mood. The trail is brutal and it lasts 5-6 hours on my skin. So delicious!

  • Rich, very similar to Mugler’s Angel. It’s for night because it’s intense. The patchouli gives a mentholated opening that then softens, leaving the concentrated notes. I liked it, though I expected something sweeter. Don’t buy it blind.

  • lunattyca

Everyone reviews based on their taste. Not all of us have a trained nose to distinguish nuances. Opinions from people without much clarity are interesting because they give a general overview. If someone who doesn’t know about notes reads that it ‘opens with spiced patchouli resonating in the nasal cavity,’ they won’t have a clue if they buy it blind.

  • April_ethereal

Kriska Drama smells a lot like patchouli; it’s the low-cost version of Mugler’s Angel. On my skin, it smells like a jar of honey with lots of patchouli; I really liked it. If you hate patchouli, don’t buy it.

  • Maru rubio

Meh, too artificial. Red fruits and praline dominate. It’s sweet, but it smells cheap.

  • It opens as they say: mentholated, camphorated, herbal (patchouli). Within minutes, the mint gives way to sweet fruits with that herbal patchouli. When it dries, it’s a caramelized nut. I don’t detect flowers, but I do sense tonka bean, caramel, vanilla, praline, and fruits that cut the sweetness. I don’t see any similarity to Mugler’s Angel.

  • It’s weird; I don’t use it, but every time I try it (it’s my mom’s), I can’t stop smelling my wrist. It smells like pure patchouli and caramelized almonds. I think the patchouli is the addictive part, especially at the beginning when it feels super mentholated and gives me a physical chill. Maybe I’ll end up falling in love with it down the line.

  • debcalvella

I didn’t like it. It reminds me of Ciel Noir with that mentholated patchouli opening. At certain times, the powdery sweetness stands out, but it’s very synthetic. It feels better on clothes and is more acceptable there, but I wouldn’t wear it.

  • I first heard about it at college from my professor; walking behind him, I kept expecting the scent to reach me—it smells like puffed rice or mentholated caramel to me. One day I asked what he was wearing, and he surprised me by saying it’s from Natura. I bought it, but on my skin, it lacks the same charm; if you over-spray, it becomes overwhelming. I use it to go out dancing in winter; I don’t spend on expensive perfumes if I’m going to smell like cigarettes afterward. It’s good, but it depends on your skin’s pH.

  • SweetCarolein

Hits hard with alcohol, and on my skin, it smells like milky peach that turns creamy and caramel-like within minutes. The trail is low and the longevity is poor.

  • Perfumadict

Not 100% my style, but I keep it to break the routine. Only for days below 68°F; once it dries, it smells exactly like the Angel EDT. It shares the same DNA as Kriska Delirio thanks to those sweet puffed rice and vanilla notes, but this one wins on quality and sophistication with the patchouli and red fruits. The camphor touch everyone talks about is tolerable and addictive, though it lasts like 20 seconds.

  • Perfume_addict

Very rich, cheap, and long-lasting. Highly recommended. The fragrance is super sweet. Although it declares a fruity and sweet opening with a floral heart, the patchouli is present throughout the development. It’s not my favorite note, but once it dries down properly, it’s caramel and vanilla. It’s not for daily wear; it has presence, and people around will notice it; I’d use it for special events. I love this perfume 💕

  • cherrylady

My favorite Kriska. The famous patchouli that awakens love and hate… for me, it’s a resounding YES. A minty but sweet scent that creates addiction; I think the sweet notes with the musky and woody ones are well-balanced. I don’t perceive the fruity notes as much. Many say it’s very strong and gives headaches; I don’t think it’s that strong, but it is intense, dark, and mature. You shouldn’t over-spray. It deserves to be worn mandatorily in autumn/winter and at night, but for those who dare, why not also during the day? I think the name DRAMA fits perfectly. PS: It doesn’t resemble Mugler’s Angel at all as I’ve read… there’s nothing like Angel.

I’m already on the third bottle; it’s one that can’t be missing; if they discontinue it, I’ll die. I’m not a huge fan of Natura because I feel they all smell similar, but this is crazy. Excessively sweet, like pouring a jar of honey all over yourself, though it’s not for everyone; if it had good longevity, it would be hard to wear. Good price; in Argentina, Natura is accessible although not cheap. Intermediate longevity, you have to reapply, it doesn’t have a good trail, but for the price, it’s very good. The smell seems strange to me; I have better quality perfumes, but it’s very addictive. I’d rate it for going out at night, sensually.

  • Josfer0512

It’s a nice scent but not for blind buying. You can feel the patchouli, which seemed very strong at first; after a few minutes, I started noticing a caramelized and spicy aroma. Fortunately, I like it. I bought it blind and thought it wasn’t for me, but as time passes on my skin, I find it very pleasant. I’ll wear it on cool nights, for commitments, or in winter.

  • I loved this perfume! I brought it home today to pair it with the Body Mist they gave me a month ago, and I promised myself to buy it if I found it at those crazy deals I usually have in my country. That’s how it happened; I found it and went to get it today. I love it: it’s sweet but not overwhelming. I don’t sense the minty or patchouli notes everyone mentions; just a blend of all the sweet notes, as if I felt the base notes: praline, vanilla, ambroxan. Maybe the red fruits are felt at the beginning. Every nose is a world; I read the reviews and was afraid to smell too much patchouli, which everyone says guarantees longevity. As for that… nothing. It’s the first day I used it. I’ll wear it at night to see if it persists until tomorrow, but I don’t think so. I can smell it on me, but very faintly; I applied quite a bit, and recently, when I smelled my wrist, it was barely perceptible. What a total shame. Maybe that’s why it was on sale. As for persistence, nothing. I’m sorry because it’s exquisite and addictive. However, in this first test, I felt nothing of persistence or trail. I think even the body mist lasts longer. As I always do, I’ll give it another chance to see what happens.

  • Mint and red fruits. They gave it to me for my birthday, and I was happy because I already owned one from Natura. Disappointment, though, because the opening is quite unpleasant: mint, mint, mint, with an artificial hint of red fruits. I wouldn’t buy it, but I use it because it was a gift. Thanks anyway. I feel like Natura is lowering quality; I have several in use and don’t know if I’ll buy them again. It hurts that they last so little; it’s like you have to reapply a lot, shortening the longevity (more consumption due to reapplication) and it’s not cheap, except with discounts like I got. It’s rich, but it’s annoying that they last so little.

  • So far, my favorite of the Kriskas: a sweet, caramelized, intense, and woody scent. It smells like a rebellious, enigmatic woman with great class, for a true femme fatale. Exquisite.

  • Minty opening with red fruits; over time the mint disappears and caramel emerges. At first, it didn’t last on me, so I let it macerate and it transformed. It’s sexy, unique, and I like it. Moderate trail and longevity.

  • This was my first Kriska and definitely my favorite. It’s complex: a deep, pulpy fruity opening, but it fades quickly because what stands out are the toasted nuts, sweet praline, and a mysterious, nocturnal vanilla with patchouli. Although it’s a youthful line, it’s intense, elegant, and nocturnal. It’s the most interesting one in the line for me; I’ll keep it in my collection for a long time. The longevity is very good, performing like an EDP.

  • I noticed this scent changes drastically depending on the skin. On me, the patchouli dominates, though it doesn’t lose its sweet notes; it smells like strong mint with toasted almonds, without any floral presence. It’s a rare blend, not really my style, but I enjoyed wearing it last autumn for work. I stopped using it because the cap loosened and the fragrance leaked out. It lasts a few hours on skin but lingers on clothes for days with a strong trail, perfect for not going unnoticed. Don’t buy blind; I recommend trying it if you’re looking for something different and accessible. Perfect for autumn and winter. Edit: I tried Angel and Kriska; they are worlds apart. Kriska is more feminine and sweet, while Angel smells like horrible herbal grass.

  • Catalina Rojas

It’s a good fragrance. At first, I didn’t like the opening. Over time, I noticed more of its notes because initially, I only felt the overwhelming sweet caramel, but then many other notes emerged, making it a true delicacy, even chocolatey. I give it a 7/10. I wouldn’t buy it again just because of how sweet it was at first, but I definitely enjoyed it. The trail was very strong at the start, though it soon moderates and ends up spectacular for the price.

  • rosalindaelena

It reminds me of Angel in one of its notes, but it doesn’t last long on the skin. If I spray it on clothes, though, it lasts for several hours.

  • I expected more from Kriska Drama; to me, it smells like talc-coated plastic. I went along with the YouTube recommendations, but I’m still loyal to the brand and plan to give it more chances.

  • Beca Jmnz99

I bought this blind thinking it was Kriska Romance, but it was out of stock in my city and this was all that was left. I regret it because it smells way too much like menthol; I’m not surprised. I let it macerate to see if it would change, but the scent stayed the same. I think it suits a 50-year-old lady perfectly.

  • The notes 🤌🏻🤌🏻… It doesn’t smell like a gourmand dessert as you might expect, but instead gives a mature, vintage vibe thanks to the cuts. 🧓

  • Malena denise

Smells like caramel with a heavy patchouli base; it was weird at first. I bought it blindly and didn’t like it, but after wearing it for a few days, I started to love it. Now I really smell the caramel.

  • Luismiguel5

This was one of my first perfumes; I bought it because I smelled it on someone and loved it. Beyond the listed notes, I don’t sense anything citrusy—it smells more gourmand, like bitter chocolate with caramel. They say it’s vintage, but at 25, I absolutely love it. It makes me feel elegant without being harsh. I wear it day and night in winter, just adjusting the number of sprays (more at night). I bought it with its matching lotion, and it lasted forever—days on clothes and about 8 hours on skin.

  • Bought it excitedly and was disappointed. Based on the notes, I thought it would be sweet, almost fruity, but it’s nothing like that. The patchouli is extremely strong and drowns out everything else.

  • Finally tried it in-store, and honestly, it’s not quite for me. I think it’s better for going out or events since it’s very potent. The caramel and woody notes overpower everything; it’s not my style, but if you like strong scents with those notes, I’d recommend it.

  • Don’t make my mistake, don’t buy this blindly. It smells off, the blend is complicated, and on my skin it just smelled like sweat.
