At first, I thought it was the Far Away Original in a different bottle, but no—the Far Away Gold is a different fragrance. When smelled together, they seem identical, but they’re not: the Gold has a sweeter touch.
It’s very similar to the classic Far Away, but softer. On my skin, it smells like orange, peach, and jasmine. The longevity is moderate with a strong sillage. It’s sweet and intense, perfect for cold weather. Although it’s rich, I still prefer the original. I tried it and people told me they liked it.
It’s similar to the classic Far Away, but softer. On my skin, it smells like orange, peach, and jasmine. Longevity is moderate with a wide sillage. It’s sweet and intense, ideal for cold weather. Although it’s rich, I prefer the traditional Far Away. Give it a try and you’ll see…
I agree with Jael. As soon as you apply it, it seems like the original Far Away in a different bottle, but then you notice it’s softer and sweeter, with a floral and fruity touch.
I agree with Jael. As soon as you put it on, it looks like the Far Away original in another bottle, but then you notice it’s softer, sweeter, and has a floral-fruit note.
I was looking for this fragrance for two years, and now that I finally got it, I’ve been wearing it for a few days. The bottle is beautiful and exotic, but the scent doesn’t last even half as long as the classic. I’m sticking with the original, even though it’s not as sweet as the Gold. Pretty disappointed; I won’t buy it again due to the poor longevity.
I love the original Far Away, and this is almost the same—floral and sweet. The longevity is very good; I recommend it for autumn, spring, and winter. I really like it.
I hate this version; it’s way too strong. Even after washing my wrist, it lingers. It’s a spiced vanilla that transports me to a trip to India. It lasts 10 hours on the skin and in the room. I’m sticking with Far Away Infinity.
This version doesn’t work for me at all; it’s too strong—even after washing my wrist, it lingers. It’s a spiced vanilla that takes me on a trip to India. It lasts 10 hours on skin and in the air, so I’m sticking with Far Away Infinity.
At first, it smells identical to the original Far Away, but then it softens a lot, becoming less sweet and less heavy than the classic version. You can notice the woody sandalwood notes mixed with florals and amber, all subtly sweetened. It has good longevity, although the original lasted much longer.
This fragrance is exquisite. I also owned the classic, and they are similar, but to me, the Gold version is sweeter and more floral—I love it more. Every time I wear it, people ask what perfume it is. It’s very long-lasting, and the best part is that it leaves a trail wherever you go. I recommend it for winter; it’s the perfect season!
It’s an exquisite fragrance; it reminds me a bit of the classic Far Away but with a sweeter, floral touch that I love. Every time I wear it, people ask what I’m wearing; plus, it lasts forever and leaves a trail wherever you go. It’s perfect for winter—it’s the ideal season for it!
Far Away Gold is from Avon and starts just like the classic, although the latter is sweeter, heavier, and highlights the sandalwood, which I think is better. This little perfume is for winter and evening use—not for daily wear but for special events. It lasts 4 to 6 hours with moderate sillage; it suits people 30 and up and gives a more serious, formal vibe.
Far Away Gold is from Avon and at first smells just like the classic, but it’s sweeter and heavier, with sandalwood standing out. For me, the original wins. This one is more for winter and evening wear, not for daily use but for special events. It lasts 4 to 6 hours with moderate sillage. It’s for people over 30; it’s more serious and formal than the classic.
Excellent perfume, I just finished it! I’ve never tried the original Far Away. On my skin, it doesn’t last long, but that doesn’t bother me; it’s ideal for warm climates. The only downside is the bottle isn’t gold anymore like before; in the US, they still have the classic version. Yanbal and Avon should definitely improve their catalogs!
Didn’t really convince me… Smells like very strong flowers, with wood and a milky sweetness. There’s a talcum touch that gives it a spring vibe due to that intense floral opening. The scent lasts quite a while and softens over time. Not for young people; better suited for those seeking powerful fragrances.
Hi, you guys forgot to mention the ylang-ylang, which is the most prominent note.
Watch out! They forgot to include ylang-ylang, which is the note that really shines in this blend.
