  • I already tried it; they had it at Primor next to the Mon edition… I wasn’t going to do it because the notes said they removed violet and added bergamot, but it’s not bad. It seems more powdery. I like the new ‘original’; it’s more mature than the previous one, which was excessively gummy. I wear one on each arm, the Mon and the Original. I’m sticking with the original for this hot weather. It opens sharp and slightly fresh, then settles into something more like the original edition.

  • I bought it and I don’t know if I can settle for it; for me, it’s another disappointment. It smells like a clone that will never match the ’97 version. This original is good for spring and summer because it’s softer and fresher, while the ’90s version was better for cold weather. The first Lolita was penetrating, powdery, sweet, and precious; violet was my favorite note, and now they’ve removed it along with many others that made Lolita special. I feel like all the flankers have been a joke. I don’t understand why they changed something so unique. That fragrance was love or hate, and for those who loved it, it seems we’ll never get it back. Goodbye, Lolita…

I grabbed it on blind sale because I know the ’97 version and tried a sample of the latest Mon Premier. I loved it, though it’s much softer than the ’97 (I wonder if my girlfriend thought it smelled like pure chocolate, maybe I’m wrong). This new version is softer, less intimidating, and I think it suits me better. It feels just like Mon Premier, though this one is stronger on my skin. I’d buy it again without hesitation; it’s on my favorites podium.

  • My aunt always wore the 1997 edition and smelled like pure glory. On my skin, it’s different, but I like it; however, it’s not enough to buy the full bottle, so I stuck with a decant.

I bought it with a super discount and I can’t stop appreciating it every time I wear it. I love it, I don’t really know other versions or the original, but this perfume has me crazy. It’s soft but maintains its sillage very well.

  • You have to give the reformulation a chance; even if they cut costs, they’re cruelty-free and free of chemicals that harm or alter our endocrine system. I was much more surprised than I expected; on my skin, it lasts over 12 hours and the sillage feels present without being invasive. I loved it! To my taste, it’s timeless: on hot days, I’d wear it more at night, and in cold climates, during the day.

  • My first real perfume: its purple apple bottle with gold was gorgeous (I found it yesterday, luckily they didn’t throw it away). I bought the promotion in a nice box with the 10ml bottle. The scent is a bit different from what I remember, softer, but the bottle… Mmm… what is that? 🥺, I was comparing it with the previous one and there’s no comparison. I confess that both give me a headache, but that it’s beautiful, it is.

baky78, I think the same. The new Lolita perfumes are cruelty-free (and vegan if I’m not mistaken) and more planet-friendly due to the raw materials and recycled packaging. For me, it’s a wonderful change and I think other houses should follow that path. Most still test on animals. I’ll buy one of the new versions when I can.

  • I had the Lolita 18-20 years ago, bought three bottles in 2001. Now that I felt brave enough to restock knowing it’s reformulated, I didn’t know what to expect. The opening is super musky, anise, and licorice to the max, sweet and honeyed, but it doesn’t fall into the caramel gourmand trap. When I smell it, I remember that the violet note was impressive; that’s a pity. I don’t remember the longevity and sillage well well; I was such a kid that I went from tango to tango without realizing if it lasted or not. I’ve tried it little, but the performance is acceptable. It lasts well and the sillage is medium; they say it was a beast, I don’t remember 😞. If it reminds me of Lolita, yes, but missing the violet too. It’s a pity it has less sillage, but since the brand is going more eco-friendly, I think it’s fair that we don’t have that potency and a new bottle to go green. It was worth it, don’t let yourself be intimidated by the longevity and sillage people say are missing.

Everything about Lolita Lempicka is perfect: the bottle and that ethereal, mysterious aura, without losing its seductive and feminine touch. It seduces through the subtle, without being… ‘head-turning’ haha, as they say on YouTube about La Vie Est Belle. This is a subtle proposal for refined olfactory palettes, indifferent to the cloying fandom. It’s timeless, current, and women of any age wear it splendidly, because in every moment it conveys different sensations.

It’s perfect in every way regarding Lolita Lempicka: from the bottle to the ethereal and mysterious aura it projects without losing its seductive and feminine touch. It seduces through the subtlety of the unseen, not qualifying as… (attention)… ‘HEAD-SCRATCHER’, hahaha, a term that resonates a lot on YouTube when talking about perfumes like those from the La Vie Est Belle clan. This fragrance’s proposal is definitely subtle, for refined palates, and indifferent to the cloying fandom. It’s timeless, always relevant, and women of any age can wear it splendidly, because in every stage of life, it conveys different sensations.

  • I had the classic and by mistake grabbed this reformulation. I saw reviews and thought I’d love it like I did in 1997, but at first I felt something sweet and bitter, thinking about giving it away. But after a few minutes, I discovered its vanilla mixed with licorice and I fell in love. Every time I wear it, someone says I smell good; it’s unique, sweet without being annoying, powdery, warm, and incredibly rich. I recommend it for autumn and winter, maybe spring nights. I love Lolita! Sillage 7/10, Longevity 8/10, Scent 9/10.

  • I had the classic and by mistake bought this reformulation. I saw reviews and thought I’d love it just like the classic ’97, but the first spray wasn’t what I expected; I felt it was sweeter and a bit ‘bitter’. I thought I definitely had to gift it, but after a few minutes, I discovered its vanilla scent harmoniously blended with licorice, and I fell in love. Every time I wear it, someone tells me I smell good. It’s a unique, sweet (but not annoying), powdery, warm, and rich aroma. I recommend it for autumn and winter, maybe spring nights too. I love Lolita! Sillage 7/10, Longevity 8/10, Scent 9/10.

  • It’s rich, but like everything else, it’s common. It’s a perfume that smells the same as others you can get for half the price and reapply.

  • I never had the first version of Lolita Lempicka, but I have the reformulated one, and I must say it’s incredibly delicious. It’s licorice and vanilla wrapped in exquisite praline, with a honeyed touch. I fell in love from the very first spray. Its scent reminds me a lot of the first version of Thierry Mugler’s Angel. I find it perfect for winter. Its longevity is moderate; on my skin, it lasts 5 to 7 hours, with the scent fading towards the end.

  • I bought Lolitaland months ago in the story bottle, but blindly and had to give it away; the vanilla scent was so strong it gave me a headache. This time, to avoid giving it away, I got a decant of that classic and I’m glad I did: I absolutely hated it! It smells medicinal at first, very potent and long-lasting, but it’s a mix of violets and remedies on the skin, sweet and strange. I definitely wouldn’t buy the original. 👎

  • MarinaEtoile

Simply detestable. I only perceive vanilla and iris, so cloying that I can’t stand them. I imagine a medicinal syrup for kids, plus it’s persistent and doesn’t evolve. It was a blind buy and a mistake I won’t repeat.

  • MarinaEtoile

Well, it’s a disaster. It just smells like vanilla and iris, so cloying that I can’t stand it. I imagine a medicinal kids’ syrup, plus it’s persistent and doesn’t evolve at all. It was a blind buy and a mistake I won’t repeat for the second time.

  • Lady Nixxie

I was disappointed with this new formulation. I bought it to gift to my mother, who has been using the original Lolita Lempicka for years. This version dropped the quality significantly: it’s not powerful and doesn’t last long. If you’re thinking of buying it, don’t do it; it’s not worth it. It’s a pity that only the name remains, because it has nothing to do with the previous formula.

  • Lady Nixxie

I was disappointed with this new formulation. I bought it to gift to my mother, who is married to a Lolita Lempicka and had it for years, so seeing it running low, I made a mistake. This new formulation dropped the quality significantly; they aren’t potent, and they don’t last as long as the previous one. If you’re thinking of buying it, don’t do it; it’s not worth it. It’s a pity that from this beautiful perfume, only the name remains, because it has nothing to do with the previous formula.

  • Mariposa_nocturna30

It’s a shame to see how Lolita’s quality has dropped. I understand some raw materials are hard to find, but making a perfume that only resembles the original in the bottle (the apple) is embarrassing. The original lasted 8 to 12 hours; this new one doesn’t even reach an hour and a half, maybe three at best. Given how expensive it is, it’s not worth it. Better let the old Lolita Lempicka rest in peace and release a new one.

  • It smells great on my skin and I’ve received many compliments, but it varies so much from skin to skin that you can love it or hate it, and even get dizzy. One friend overused it and became overwhelming. My mother gets a headache from any vanilla, so don’t spray half a bottle. Same with patchouli. It’s perfect for night or parties, but not for daytime.

  • It’s very unique. I bought it by mistake while looking for cherry and pear, but since it’s so sweet, I think it’s better without those notes. It’s spicy; when I applied it, I thought it would be cloying and got scared, but after 10 minutes, it turned into spicy, sweet with a smell of wet earth. That’s when I understood why they say it smells like a fairy. The sweetness passes quickly, but I suggest not using it for the first time in a closed space. It’s not for everyone, but I loved it. Use it carefully because it’s strong at the start. Don’t buy it blindly.

  • Oh, when I tried it on my skin, the anise hit hard at first, but as it dried down it softened into a spicy vanilla—like adding seasoning to food but with vanilla. It doesn’t taste sweet to me; more spicy, at least on my skin. Would I recommend it? Only if you love that ‘young lady’ scent vibe. 🥲👍🏻

  • Oh, Lolita. Upon trying it, I felt a very intense anise that later softened into spiced vanilla, almost like when you’re cooking and add spices, but with vanilla. I don’t find it sweet; it smells more spicy. If you like the scent of a ‘young lady,’ then yes. 🥲👍🏻

  • It’s the opposite of my taste; I prefer fresh citrus, but this is dense, with great projection and lasts 24 hours. When applied, it smells like sweet anise and iris, with a hint of talc. Over time, it turns woody and earthy. It’s ideal for winter. An intense fragrance that demands attention.

  • Addyi Spade

It opens with sharp anise and licorice, then shifts to something damp, like an old house that got wet. Unfortunately, it smells musty, even though it has patchouli, praline, and vanilla. Maybe it’s fresh mold, but for me, it’s synthetic from start to finish. Compared to the first version, which was sweet, elegant, and coquettish, this one is disappointing. Don’t buy it blindly; maybe my unit is damaged, or maybe that’s its real scent.

  • Mónica Martínez Mora

It’s not a common perfume. At first, it stings, but then it becomes earthy, spicy, and sweet. It makes me feel unique, like in a magical forest. It’s timeless; works for summer or winter depending on what you’re wearing. It’s similar to Mugler’s Aura but sweeter and less musty. Ideal for women with strong character. I loved it; my husband gave it to me as a gift at the end of 2024/2025.

  • Estefania Nordahl

It’s an elegant fragrance that catches eyes and stops footsteps. It’s not for every age, but since I’m 15, it’s my signature scent and I won’t change it. I recommend it if you want something powerful, but be careful: it’s for cold weather. In summer, with the heat and sweat, it turns into something I don’t like. I live in Puerto where the heat is constant, so better use it in autumn or spring.
