  • I was shown it yesterday and the impression was pleasant: the opening is identical to Flowerbomb, with that candy-vanilla sweetness and a subtle woody base. The iris adds femininity, more acceptable than the original So Elixir. On my skin, it lasted 5 hours with a medium sillage, but then it turned into ‘green’ notes. It’s not amazing, but recommended for its accessible price and Olivier Cresp’s quality guarantee.

  • I was shown it yesterday and the initial impression was good: the opening reminds me of Flowerbomb with that candy-vanilla sweetness and a subtle woody base. The iris adds a more acceptable feminine touch than the original So Elixir. On my skin, it lasted 5 hours with a medium sillage, but then it lost its charm and turned into ‘green’ notes. It’s not amazing, but recommended for its accessible price and Olivier Cresp’s quality guarantee.

  • After some time, I bought it again and was surprised: although it’s not expensive, it has received many praises. Everything is harmonious: warm and enveloping vanilla that isn’t synthetic, a ‘serene’ patchouli that doesn’t bother, and the soft floral touch of lily. On a hot day, the medium and warm sillage accompanied me all day. Someone said it had mandarin or violets, but it doesn’t; it’s very pleasant and reasonably priced. Perfect for day or night if you love patchouli. How tastes change!

  • Add it to your collection if you love sweet florals with a measured dose of patchouli. It lasts as long as high-end perfumes and is affordable for any budget. It’s about 80% like Flowerbomb: this one is more discreet but no less delicious, whereas the other has a wider sillage. A perfect creation by Olivier Cresp for any season and time of day, and it generates many compliments.

  • After disappointments with niche brands, this Yves Rocher gem saved me: proof that price doesn’t define quality. The downside is it’s not sold in Spain, so you have to travel (I got mine in Germany). It smells like sweetened patchouli blended with vanilla, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere. It lasts 5 hours on skin (longer on clothes) with a good but non-invasive sillage. It reminded me of Zara’s Fleur de Patchouli, but I prefer its sweetness over So Elixir. Scent 10/10, longevity 6/10, sillage 7/10, value 8/10, versatility 8/10, packaging 8/10. Would I buy it again? Yes.

  • I bought it blind with Mon Éclat and it was disappointing. Now I know patchouli isn’t for me. I expected sensual vanilla and a woody base, but it smells artificial with the patchouli dominating. It reminded me of Vie Est Belle, another one I don’t like, so better to avoid it.

  • If patchouli is your thing, this is a must-have: a sweet, vanilla-infused patchouli with a retro touch. The longevity is good and the sillage is moderate, perfect for those seeking warmth without being overwhelming.

I’ve been in perfumery for years and learned that a fair judgment requires at least three sprays in different climates, as skin makes all the difference. If you don’t like patchouli, run away; it reminds me of Angel, but it’s much lighter and fresher. In the heat of the evening, it has a vibe similar to Vie Est Belle Iris, but while that smells like makeup, this one is creamy and more natural. It’s one of the three B’s and worth trying before Yves Rocher pulls it like they usually do.
