This is my second Michael Kors perfume, and the brand hasn’t let me down; the first one, Michael, was divine and opened me up to florals when I only liked fruity and oriental scents. Now that I have both, I’m fascinated: they’re beautiful, elegant, and smell luxurious. This one is strong and bold, even though it has fruity notes, the florals take the lead, especially the jasmine. The amber adds a warm sweetness, while the woods and suede give it an elegant, luxurious, and sexy touch. It’s already earned a spot in my top favorites—I loved it.
I’m not a fan at all. It smells like overpowering pink pepper and sticks to my skin without the other notes coming through. What a shame—I bought it so excited because I love all the perfumes in this MK line and decided to take a blind risk. Please, can anyone help me figure out what I couldn’t stand? Is it the peony, the pepper, or both combined?
