Moderate scent in every way: spicy with a combination that delivers that promised almond and amber note from its perfumer. Smells great, but it only lasts about six hours and projects a soft aura. Can be worn by women and men. Pleasant and warm.
It has a sensual and mysterious touch. Just be aware that the real mystery is that it’s an almost identical clone of So Elixir, that magnificent perfume Yves Rocher has already discontinued, along with other gems like Nuit Vanille, Flowerparty, or Mimosa. I recommend it for those over 35; it’s not because it’s an outdated scent, but because you need personality and maturity to wear it with elegance and make it fit well.
It has a certain sensuality and mystery. That said, what isn’t a mystery is that it’s practically a clone of So Elixir in any of its versions, a magnificent perfume that Yves Rocher has already discontinued, along with other delights like Nuit Vanille, Flowerparty, or Mimosa. I recommend it for those over 35, not for young girls or teenagers, not because it’s outdated, but because you need personality and maturity to wear it with elegance.
It has three of the richest notes I adore. Here they are one by one, then they mix together super deliciously. It lasted hours, and I felt like a millionaire. I’ll be getting one soon.
Simple yet very pleasant composition. It’s a warm, resinous vanilla that I’ve been enjoying these October days. I detect strong, sweet benzoin. It doesn’t smell like Black Opium or Flowerbomb, and I don’t detect any florals. It’s a very amber perfume that enhances white flowers or pairs wonderfully with light scents. Lasts 7 to 8 hours on skin and the same on clothes. Among this Yves Rocher range, it’s one of my favorites and, given the price, an interesting option for autumn and winter. Edit: It smells almost identical to the dry-down of Scandal By Night. I tested them together, and they are practically the same. A marvel.
I’m not sure if I’m falling for the marketing, but it seems to have a dry, sandy undertone, very soft between the resinous and sweet notes. It looks promising at first, although the tester didn’t have enough spray to draw firm conclusions. It’s a line that isn’t cheap for what the brand usually offers, but it definitely deserves a sniff.
Such a gem! 😍 My new obsession that I reuse constantly. I love it.
I’ve been wanting this perfume for ages. When I walked into Yves Rocher and saw only one left on clearance, I didn’t hesitate. It opens spicy and woody, with a hint of Zara’s Ebony Wood, but soon that vanilla blooms with a balsamic, resinous warmth that is pure magic. Labdanum and I have a love story; it’s a simple, linear scent after half an hour, but beautiful. Woody and sweet without being overwhelming. Smells good on paper, but delicious on skin. As it dries, it reminds me a bit of Black Opium due to the vanilla, but they aren’t the same, and it’s nowhere near Flowerbomb. I see it as unisex: perfect for men who like sweet scents and women seeking a woody fragrance with character. Versatile, ideal for cold weather (not extreme heat), with about two hours of projection and 5 to 6 hours of longevity on skin, lasting over 8 hours on clothes. For the price I paid, it’s absolutely worth it. Check it out before it sells out.
I’ve always liked it but never owned one. When I walked into Yves Rocher and saw only one left on clearance, I grabbed it, and what a find. On my skin, it opens spicy and woody, with a nod to Zara’s Ebony Wood, one of my favorites. Then the sweetness blooms—the vanilla, with an intoxicating warmth, balsamic, resinous, featuring tonka bean and benzoin. Labdanum and I have a love story, because I haven’t smelled another with this note that I didn’t adore. It’s simple and fairly linear after half an hour, but beautiful. Woody and sweet, in my opinion, without being invasive or annoying. It smells good on paper, but delicious on skin. As it dries down, it reminds me a bit of Black Opium due to that vanilla, though they aren’t similar at all. Nothing like Flowerbomb, where there’s no flower here. I see it as unisex: for men who like something sweet and women looking for a woody scent with character. Totally versatile, except in extreme heat. Projection is about two hours, then closer to the skin; it lasts around 5-6 hours on skin and over 8 on clothes. If you like this accord, it’s worth it at the price I paid. Take a look before it runs out.
It’s identical to Lancôme’s La Vie Est Belle, and the longevity is insane!
