The launch of Rose Extase was abrupt and lacked a hook; it didn’t seem relevant. The final result is faithful to that impression: the bottle is pink, sticky, almost childish, sweet, and redundant. The rose is sharp, pungent, realistic, and cozy, but the raspberry and red berries make it remind me of Mon Paris or Jimmy Choo Blossom (less synthetic and without a chewing gum smell). It fades into a musky base with patchouli nuances, similar to Dahlia Divin. It’s a redundant fragrance with a poor concept and a bit behind the gourmand fashion trend, but it’s not as unbearable as similar ones, and its price is more accessible. Longevity and sillage are modest. In conclusion, it doesn’t add much to the line or perfumery; it’s bland and boring, but if you’re drawn to it, it’s not bad, simply flat. By the way, the L’Extase Rose Absolu edition promises more in terms of scents.
The launch of Rose Extase was abrupt and lacked any distinguishing features, not even seeming relevant. And honestly, the final result isn’t far from what was intended. First, the bottle speaks volumes about its scent: pink, sticky, almost childish, sweet, and redundant. Rose Extase starts with a treatment on the rose similar to Francis Kurkdjian’s line: a sharp, pungent, very realistic, and cozy rose; however, everything is overshadowed by a heart of raspberry and red fruits that recall Mon Paris by Yves Saint Laurent or the cloying Jimmy Choo Blossom (but less synthetic, less hateful, and without as many bubblegum aftertastes). After some development, it fades into a quasi-chypre musk base with something that retains nuances similar to the patchouli found in neo-chypres (it can recall certain facets of Dahlia Divin by Givenchy). Rose Extase is a very redundant fragrance with a rather poor concept, and in seasons when the fruity-chouly gourmand trend is fading, it seems somewhat outdated. However (and in an attempt to salvage something from this fragrance), it’s not as unbearable as similar ones, and its price is less daunting. Longevity and sillage are simply modest. In conclusion, Rose Extase doesn’t add much to its line, its house, or perfumery in general. However, if you feel drawn to it, there’s no reason to ignore it since it’s not unpleasant, simply bland and very boring, at least in my opinion (on the other hand, the L’Extase Rose Absolu edition has a lot to promise in its aromatic geometry).
I smelled this perfume recently and agree that the mix of vanilla, red fruits, and raspberries makes it very sweet. The rose is barely perceptible; it’s like a candied raspberry caramel covered in caramel; at the end, you can smell a bit of musk. Personally, I didn’t like it, nor did I dislike it; it’s just another perfume of this type.
Exquisite, sweet, tender, and very feminine. It has excellent longevity and sillage. Unfortunately, I discovered it too late because it’s already discontinued.

It’s feminine, soft, and smells very much of sweet roses with raspberry and a touch of vanilla. Deep and intense, yet not overwhelming. Wearable and with character. I’ve liked it. However, it’s not a perfume I would wear myself. Still, very delicious and recommended for those seeking a rose perfume. Youthful and with personality.
It’s not a masterpiece, but I like this fruity, soapy rose; it’s very suitable for the office because its sillage is low and it doesn’t bother others. However, on my skin, it only lasts 2 hours, so I’d only repurchase it if I find it on sale… Edit: The more I use it, the more I like it. Comparing it side-by-side with Delina by Parfums de Marley, they are very similar except for performance, where Delina is much better. Still, I prefer to hunt for this one on sale and reapply rather than paying for Delina, which I feel is overpriced despite its better performance.
Smells like sweet roses without being cloying, accompanied by raspberries. As it dries down, it reveals a musky vanilla. It’s a simplistic, quite naive, very pleasant, and non-intrusive scent, though not groundbreaking. It reminds me of Idole by Lancome, but this one is spikier at the start and sweeter when dry.
I was craving a rose fragrance that wasn’t soapy, overly musky, or as sweet as Roses Vanille (which is one of the few that has won me over)… and I found this. It’s exactly what I was looking for. The opening is slightly fruity (I sense a citrus-like acidity, though I’m sure it’s the berries), but the dry down is a perfectly balanced sweet rose, subtly vanilla-infused with a well-balanced musk. It’s not tiring, not cloying, and doesn’t have that vintage vibe. They handle the rose beautifully; it feels current, youthful, cheerful, and sparkling. Perfect for spring and summer. Lasts quite well, around 8 hours, with a moderate sillage. A great addition to my collection, for sure.
This Rose Extase by Nina Ricci is literally me in a bottle, honey. It smells like roses and raspberries… I’m heartbroken because they’re discontinuing it and it’s hard to find at a good price. When I wear it, I don’t want to stop smelling it; it’s marvelous. Lasts about 6 hours on skin, I’m so jealous!
Got mine. I bought the 30ml version last year because my favorite is L’Extase and I wanted to try this flanker. The moment I put it on, my first thought was Nuit Trésor EDT, and let’s be honest, that’s not my style. It felt like a copy, so it didn’t hook me. It opens with a sweet, fresh, potent strawberry note, then a citrusy touch with a musky, spicy undertone. On my skin, it stays a bit stuck in that spicy, musky strawberry vibe… I’m not great at describing scents. For me, it wasn’t appealing; I prefer L’Extase, which has more body, a caramel tone, and white flowers that balance without being overpowering. It’s a delightful sweet scent. This version feels saturated to me, not fresh on my skin—maybe it works better for other girls. Won’t be buying it again.
Rose Extase smells like someone bottled raspberry and rose jam: sweet, pink, bright, and consistent like jelly, almost edible. The rose is present, red and velvety amidst the sweetness. On clothes, the next day, I only notice the rose. On skin, the raspberry and musk last longer. I was looking for a rose that would last; others barely do, but this one does. It doesn’t last as long as I’d wish (about 7 hours), but more than Idôle. If you have both, combine them: the red rose intensifies and becomes solar. Very happy. The bottle is gorgeous, looks like ceramic, feels substantial, and looks luxurious. On rainy days, it seemed comforting to me. I highly recommend it.
Rose Extase smells like someone bottled raspberry jam and roses: sweet, pink, bright, with a jelly-like texture, almost edible. The rose is gorgeous, velvety, and red amidst the sweetness. On clothes, by the end of the day, only that rose remains. On my skin, the raspberry and musk last longer; I was looking for a rose that would linger, and here it does, though not quite as much as Idôle. If you have both, wear them together: the red rose intensifies and becomes solar, like a rose soaking up the sun. The bottle is gorgeous, looks like ceramic, heavy, and luxurious. It has comforted me a lot on rainy days. I recommend it from the heart.
Sweet and fresh aroma of red fruits with roses. At first, it smells like my ‘Delina’, but as it dries down, it resembles ‘L’Extase’. Lasts about 12 hours. I recommend it if you like sweet perfumes with roses and red fruits.
It’s super feminine and generates compliments from men, but it’s not original or innovative; it’s a safe bet.
Sweet. Roses, roses, and more roses. I wear it at night in temperate climates and during the day at business meetings. It screams femininity. If you can’t stand red fruits or roses, don’t buy it blindly. I loved it and bought it several times; it’s never missing from my closet.
Upon spraying, I notice a tart fruity note (the berries), then the raspberry with the rose that dominates. Finally, rose with vanilla. I own Roses Vanille (for autumn/winter) and was looking for something similar but softer for summer. This one is rich, pleasant, doesn’t overwhelm, and is different. Lasts about 6 to 7 hours.
There are roses and more roses, but not fresh ones; they’re a bit vintage and I didn’t like them. I prefer Lancôme’s; I feel they are more modern and fresh. They are easy to wear.
This perfume has roses and more roses, but they’re not fresh: they’re aggressive, a bit vintage, and I didn’t like them. I prefer Lancôme roses; I feel they’re more modern and fresh. They’re easy to wear.
Smells like raspberry and red berries with an invasion of roses that is the main focus. The creamy pink bottle screams ‘Barbie’: it’s super feminine. Perfect for afternoon/evening dates or intimate moments; very versatile for any age. Don’t wear it for formal events, as a daily scent, or in winter, but it’s great for casual outings or family gatherings.
Rich aroma of raspberry and red berries with a rose invasion that is the main focus. The creamy pink packaging screams Barbie and femininity. EXCELLENT for afternoon/evening dates or intimate moments; very versatile. I don’t recommend it for formal events, daily wear, or winter, but yes for casual outings and family gatherings.
Simply incredible! Pure rose with an acidic fruity touch at the start that makes it unique, delicate, and with extreme longevity (all night and more on my skin). Hyper-feminine and sensual. The bottle is a work of art: simple yet captivating, it looks like ceramic, heavy, with golden details that make it luxurious. No waste, I always choose it.
INCREDIBLE! Pure rose with a tart fruity touch that gives it character. Delicate, lasts all night and more, hyper-feminine and sensual. The bottle is gorgeous: looks like ceramic, feels substantial, has gold details, and looks luxurious. Simple yet captivating. No flaws, I always choose this.
Why do they decide to discontinue something so well-made? Compliment generator, acceptable longevity, pretty inside and out.
It’s a pink rose where you pluck every petal, add raspberries and vanilla, mash it up, and you’re done. It smells like an adult rose (not an old one), modernized, feminine, with that spring dew. If you’re looking for a modern pink rose scent, try this; it could be your signature. Ideal for a bride getting married in the spring. A delicate, spring-like bouquet.
