I’ve never owned a Britney, even though I know Fantasy is her signature. I always wondered what that orb smelled like—the one that obsessed 2000s teens but was impossible to get back then. Now at 30, I finally picked up the discontinued Rocker Femme because its composition intrigued me. It’s not a risky buy, but it looks beautiful, simple, gourmand, and easy to wear; it could be a gift for a playful girl, a teen, or an adult with a sweet tooth. It’s not overwhelming, and the longevity tops out at six hours, but who cares when the price isn’t outrageous? I’m hoping to grab the Intense version soon, which they say is the Fantasy scent without reformulation, featuring white chocolate and cupcake notes. Honestly, it smells great and is well-balanced; I’m glad I got the chance to try it.

It smells very similar to the original, though I think the difference lies in the floral notes. I actually preferred this version because it feels more harmonious than the original, just a touch less scandalously sweet. I consider it the mature evolution of Fantasy.

For an untrained nose, this perfume is identical to the traditional Fantasy, but those with a more educated sense of smell will notice a slight difference. The opening is exactly the same, but about three minutes in, something very subtle shifts—perhaps that floral phase with the gardenia, though it’s so soft it’s almost imperceptible. If you already own the regular Fantasy and aren’t a collector, don’t bother buying this.

  4. This perfume is a delight; you can clearly detect its notes: whipped cream, blackberry, and vanilla, along with their respective supporting notes. Britney Spears’ line always delivers.

  5. I bought this blind and give it a 60 out of 100. I was disappointed to realize it’s a clone of the original Fantasy; based on the name, bottle, and listed notes, I imagined it would have more personality. When I read ‘Rocker Femme,’ I pictured a more intense, nighttime scent, but in my opinion, I wouldn’t wear it at night and would use it cautiously to avoid being too sweet. Unlike the original Fantasy, the coconut and whipped cream notes differ slightly. I love it for gifting, but not enough to repurchase.

At first, I absolutely love how the bottle decorates the vanity with its black and neon pink color, plus the little black rock-stud stones. As for the scent, it’s the sweetest Fantasy, surpassing the original. You can still smell the classic Fantasy base, but what dominates is a strong note of coconut with flambéed whipped cream, or like toasted sugar. That toasted sugar note is extremely prominent. It reminds me of a toasted or flambéed coconut cupcake, absolutely delicious. There’s also a very noticeable cupcake or muffin scent, very original and well-executed. It lasts quite a bit on skin and even more on clothes, though less than the original version. Perfect for nightwear and cold weather like autumn and winter.

  7. Maybe I wasn’t given a good tester, but given the opinions that it’s so similar to Fantasy, I have to disagree. It’s true that the opening is quite similar, but only for a few minutes. Then it transforms, linearly and poorly, into a synthetic fragrance resembling a somewhat dry bubblegum; I estimate it’s a mix of raspberry and whipped cream, but of low quality. It doesn’t have the same richness as the Private Show, which is so creamy, nor the cake-like sweetness of the Fantasy, which I also like. It reminded me a lot of Aquolina’s Pink Sugar Sensual. No coconut whatsoever.

It smells delicious, sweet but not as exaggerated as the Fantasy… honestly, I’ve received several compliments with this perfume.

Maybe I wasn’t shown a good tester, but given the opinions that it’s so similar to Fantasy, I must disagree. It’s true that the opening is quite similar, but only for a few minutes. Then it transforms, linearly and poorly, into a synthetic fragrance similar to slightly dry chewing gum, probably a low-quality mix of raspberry and whipped cream. It lacks the rich creaminess of Private Show or the cake-like sweetness of Fantasy. It reminded me a lot of Aquolina’s Pink Sugar Sensual. No coconut to be found.

It’s a gourmand bomb: starts citrusy and fades into a dessert with lots of whipped cream. The trail is moderate and lasts over 6 hours. Definitely a good perfume. Rating: 8/10.

I first tried this in 2014 and loved it; very sweet. Now that I own it, the citrus opening bothers me a bit, but over time I’ve fallen for the heart notes, which are very playful. I keep wearing it to see if it becomes my favorite. Updated: after months of trying to make it captivate me, I gifted it away, but it’s a beautiful scent.

Finally got it! I love the Fantasy line, and this caught my eye because of the coconut, whipped cream, and vanilla notes (a bomb of sweetness). The bottle looks lovely in person with a gorgeous gradient. The scent is sweet, delicious, and enveloping; it’s practically identical to the original Fantasy. I never detected the coconut, which disappointed me, and I don’t notice the florals, but it feels very ‘milky’ and creamy. The wood comes out at the end. It lasts about 8 hours, projects well for the first two hours, then sits close to the skin. I loved it so much and have no regrets; I’ll repurchase when I run out. I’m happy with my Rocker Femme ❤️.

Updating my review: I tried it and I loved it. The original Fantasy was my favorite before the reformulation, and this doesn’t disappoint. People say it’s similar to the original, but I didn’t get that impression; both are sweet, fruity, and gourmand. In Rocker Femme, the vanilla becomes more prominent as the hours pass, while at first, it’s a cocktail of fruits with blackberries and shredded coconut, acidic and sweet, all mixed with the whipped cream. It’s an exquisite gourmand that reminds me a lot of Ferragamo’s Signorina Misteriosa. The only thing I didn’t like was the bottle colors; a purple, lilac, and white gradient would have looked great with its berry scent. The name doesn’t convey ‘rocker’ to me either. Anyway, delicious, a well-made gourmand for all year round, except maybe on very hot days.

The bottle, which they say is ugly, is actually gorgeous in person with its gradient. The scent is sweet, delicious, and enveloping, very similar to Fantasy, almost identical. I never really smelled the coconut, which disappointed me, and I don’t detect the floral notes, but it is very ‘milky’ and creamy. The wood comes out at the end. It lasts about 8 hours, projects well for the first two hours, then sits close to the skin. I really liked it, no regrets, since I’ve run out of my Fantasy; I’ll keep this until it’s gone. Updating my review: I loved it. Although Fantasy (the original) was my favorite before the reformulation, this one doesn’t disappoint. It didn’t feel identical to the original to me, though both are super sweet, fruity, and gourmand. Here, the vanilla comes through as it develops, while the opening is a cocktail of fruits with blackberries and shredded coconut—acidic yet sweet, alongside the whipped cream. It reminds me a lot of Ferragamo’s Signorina Misteriosa. The only thing I didn’t like was the bottle colors; a purple, lilac, and white gradient would have been great. Finally got it. Britney perfumes are high quality, and this is no exception. They say it’s the same as the original Fantasy, but I perceive huge differences. The opening is sweet and warm, like a berry dessert with lots of cream, unlike the original which is acidic. After 5 minutes, the coconut appears but is overshadowed by the whipped cream. Then comes the vanilla, smelling like a sponge cake filled with cream, red fruits, and coconut. It lasts for hours. Around 5 or 6 hours, the woody base emerges but is still overshadowed by the cake scent. I didn’t detect any florals. It’s sweet, so I wouldn’t recommend it if you don’t like gourmands, though it’s not as heavy as the original or Midnight Fantasy, but heavier than Circus or Hidden. The longevity is good, but the trail wasn’t as noticeable as I expected. Don’t be fooled by the name ‘Rocker Femme’ because it has nothing to do with rock. It’s more of a daytime scent, but it holds up for informal nighttime use for teens. The bottle is cute, though the black gradient is… The value for money is excellent and it’s a great plus for the line, especially since it’s not as popularized.

  17. I learned a fundamental lesson: celebrity scents are perfumes developed by a company but with a celebrity’s branding. The most famous example is the Britney Spears line, which was developed by Elizabeth Arden, not by the singer!

  18. Armendariz078

Although it has a great resemblance to the original Fantasy in the opening, it differs a bit: it’s less intense and less acidic, particularly what I dislike most about the original is how scandalous it is at first. The base notes are what I love; there’s a soft vanilla touch and it leaves a very pleasant scent on clothes that lasts for several days. Definitely among my favorite perfumes.

Rocker Femme Fantasy seems like the start of a formula repetition of the original. At a quick glance, it’s technically similar to Fantasy, though I perceive abyssal differences. The fundamental axis is the whipped cream, fluid and thick, almost liquid and realistic. Blackberry and coconut emerge, a risky combination that works here without being tropical. The darkest part is the over-exploitation of the blackberry. Then it moves to a powdery violet and tense gardenia center, with a ghostly whisper of jasmine. The base is a cold gourmand vanilla combined with cashmere, musk, and absent amber. It’s a brown, unstoppable gourmand. Although it momentarily resembles the original, I prefer Rocker Femme for prioritizing white flowers and avoiding the sour kiwi opening of Fantasy. The presentation and name point to a rocker stereotype, but it’s more an irreverent, playful satire, a critique of the genre’s elite that mocks derivative pop. The black ring on the atomizer recalls 90s punk wristbands. Fantasy is pop and energetic; Rocker Femme is more withdrawn, aiming to be unique and dark, yet it’s remarkably similar to what it tries to avoid, like a malicious joke. It’s an unnecessary tribute to Fantasy. Nothing authentically ‘rock and roll.’ It seems like an American version of Signorina Misteriosa. The trail is potent and longevity is medium, perhaps extensive in winter. If you hate the kiwi in Fantasy, try this.

  20. I love this perfume; I think it’s the best of Britney, it’s not very well known, and I don’t understand why, even daring to say it’s better than the original Fantasy. It seems like a sweet but very balanced scent, it’s perfect, I love it.

Sounds sweet to me, with coconut and cream notes, like a dessert… super gourmand and creamy, I loved it. EDIT: I adore it, the only downside is that the sillage and longevity are far from the original Fantasy, but that milky white chocolate and coconut touch is very pleasant 🙂

I tested it alongside Fantasy and I took both, but they smell different. This one smells like cookies with a citrus twist. Both are recommended.

When I tried it, it reminded me of my days with Curios in Control, so sweet and delicious, a worthy representative of the Dulce family. Without thinking twice, it stays with me.

The first time I tried it, it gave me a deja vu of the original Fantasy, but the drydown changes quickly. You can really tell that whipped cream note, something I never thought possible, paired with coconut, vanilla, and blackberries. It’s like smelling an exquisite dessert. It’s not for everyone, only if you’re a gourmand fan, but if you like sweets, you’ll love it. The longevity is excellent; just use it carefully so you don’t overwhelm the person next to you. 5 stars for Britney.
