Smells spectacular.
A completely dispensable cologne. It’s not unisex at all; in fact, it smells quite feminine. It’s the typical sweet Britney fragrance, a mix of original Fantasy and Private Show. I can’t find the coffee note. Aimed at a very young female audience, around 16 years old.
A completely dispensable cologne. It’s not unisex at all; it smells quite feminine. It’s the typical sweet Britney fragrance, a mix of original Fantasy plus Private Show. I can’t find the coffee note at all. It’s aimed at a very young female audience, around 16 years old.
I tried it yesterday and loved it; the best part is that it lasted quite a while on my skin. I agree with the previous reviewer: it seems like a mix of Private Show and classic Fantasy (70% and 30% based on my perception). Curiously, without reading that, I thought the same thing just by smelling it. For me, what stands out most is the coffee with a fruity touch—blackberry or apricot—and a hint of saffron, all wrapped in something very sweet and chocolatey. I find it unisex and believe perfumes don’t have an age limit; wear what you like. The only downside is that if you already own Private Show, it smells very similar, but if you don’t, it’s a great option, especially if you like Fantasy, because you get the best of both. As for the scent, I think it works for any season, but it shines more in fresh mornings and afternoons, like autumn or winter. I absolutely loved the black and pink bottle, and it fits the fragrance perfectly.
I tried it yesterday and liked it quite a bit; it also had great longevity on my skin. I agree it seems like a mix of Private Show and classic Fantasy (roughly 70% and 30% respectively), which is curious because I thought the same without reading reviews. To my nose, the most prominent note is coffee with some fruity accords, perhaps peach or apricot, and I did sense a hint of saffron. All wrapped in a very sweet, slightly chocolatey cloud. I find it unisex and believe perfumes don’t have an age. The only issue is that if you already own Private Show, you’ll have a very similar scent, but if not, it’s an excellent option, especially if you like Fantasy, as you’d get the best of both worlds. I think it would suit any season, but it would stand out more on fresh mornings and afternoons, autumnal or winter days. I really liked the bottle in black and pink tones, and it fits the fragrance well.
I tried it recently and really liked it, even though it doesn’t stray from Britney’s usual style. It reminded me of Curious In Control but lighter and less gourmand. I disagree that it’s unisex; to me, the scent is clearly feminine. Did Britney Spears play it safe? It’s not innovative, but it’s not a bad perfume. It’s too similar to Private Show, so if you have one, you wouldn’t buy the other. I also don’t think it’s targeted solely at a young audience; it’s not as sweet and gourmand as Fantasy or Midnight, though I reiterate that perfumes don’t have an age limit.
Nothing new or good here. It’s a Britney perfume that resembles some of her others and some that aren’t hers. The bottle is bad taste, very childish and cheap. That said, the perfume is wearable, pleasant, and not annoying at all, but nothing special or novel. This one is better than Private Show.
I saw it at a good price and bought it. It’s true it doesn’t smell more masculine than Private Show, but I think it’s totally unisex and perfect for either gender. It’s sweet, very sweet. For me, the standout notes are apricot, berries, and coffee, though it’s soft and not intrusive. As others say, it doesn’t bring anything new to the perfume world; it’s simply sweet, pleasant, easy to wear, and affordable for daily use. Scent: 7.5, Longevity: 7, Sillage: 5, Value: 10 ($15/50ml), Versatility: 9, Overall: 7.
I can clearly tell it’s made for women. I bought it without many expectations, but I kept using it until I ran out. People asked me several times what I was wearing. The trail is moderate and it lasts quite a while. I recommend it; the price is unbeatable.
The opening didn’t quite convince me, maybe due to the saffron or some floral notes, and I didn’t detect any coffee. The dry down is pleasant enough that people have asked me what I’m wearing. It lasts between 4 and 5 hours. It’s not a bad fragrance, but nothing spectacular. I picked it up at Burlington for $9 in the 50ml pack.
Delicious, it’s like the little sister of Black Opium; less potent but you can feel the coffee and a sweetness that doesn’t cloy. Both are wonderful. As for whether it’s unisex or not, honestly, for me perfumes don’t have a gender and everyone uses what makes them happy. I would definitely buy it again. Another hit from Britney.
So delicious, it’s like the little sister of Black Opium; less intense but you can definitely taste the coffee and a sweet note that isn’t cloying. Both are top-tier. As for whether it’s unisex, honestly, I believe perfumes don’t have a gender, and everyone should wear what makes them happy. I’ll definitely buy it again. Another hit from Britney.
Hi guys! It’s a unisex fragrance, only if the gentleman is bold and doesn’t mind showing his subtlety and sweetness. It’s a perfume that in its opening manages to mark territory in a very sweet and fruity way, but after a few minutes it transforms into a more personal fragrance, settling on the skin without being abrasive. It’s seductive, its nectar, but its dry down is perfect for sweating out some passions with your partner or your multiple players; it doesn’t give up so easily. I use it every day, especially before my dance rehearsals; it’s a daring and stimulating perfume for personal and playful use. Even more so if you want something more playful, citrusy, less sweet, and above all fresher for your daily routine and you’re a fan of Britney, use the Rave version. What I like is its good price, and it’s like a way to not forget how much I’m in love with Britney and use it casually every day and carry it in your bag.
OMG… undeniable inspiration from Black Opium. It’s sweet, dark, woody, vanilla, chocolatey (even though it has no chocolate), a delight to the nostrils. I tested it on my boyfriend to check if it’s unisex, but I think it makes better chemistry on me. It’s a beauty!!! I love it. The longevity and sillage are at celebrity level… can’t compare it to the projection of YSL. Absolutely recommended…
I love this fragrance, sweet sweet as we are used to from the Fantasy line. It’s fruity; I don’t think it’s different from the others or something too novel like the Hidden might be, but it smells delicious and lasts muchiiiisimo once you put it on. Its aroma at the start, as well as after some time has passed, is super pleasant. I don’t smell the coffee itself or something similar that you’d notice upon wearing it, but I suppose that special ingredient being present in the notes makes it delicious and special.
OMG… undeniable inspiration from Black Opium. It’s sweet, dark, woody, vanilla-like, and chocolatey (even though it doesn’t contain chocolate); a delight for the nose. Longevity and sillage are at celebrity level; it can’t be compared to YSL’s projection. Absolutely recommended.
I just bought it, I’m a man, and I loved it. For real, when it’s freshly applied, it feels very sweet, but afterwards on my pH, at least, it becomes more spicy and woody. The coffee and blackcurrant notes give it a very flirtatious and playful touch. The wood and pepper notes become present along with the goji berries that take some prominence. The blackcurrant creates a great start for the fragrance; I love it and I would buy it again…
I just bought it; I’m a man and I loved it. At first, it smells very sweet, but on my skin, it turns more spicy and woody. The coffee and blackberry notes give it a flirty and playful touch; then the wood and pepper take the lead along with the goji berries. The blackberry creates a great opening; I love it and I’ll buy it again.
I was gifted it yesterday, and today upon opening it, as usual, Britney never disappoints me, and this is no exception. Sweet and intoxicating, love at first sniff 😍😍😍. It’s supposed to open with fruity notes, but no, at least on my skin; what I smell most is COFFEE, strong and sweet. I also detect a lactonic and vanilla note, something caramelized, what a surprise to check here and discover it doesn’t have vanilla, milk, cream, or anything similar. Intoxikatingly sweet, overwhelming, potent, confident, and above all, BEAUTIFUL. I love it, very similar to Black Opium or its flanker Nuit Blanche. I will definitely repurchase a thousand times more 💖💖💖
The first spray immediately reminded me of my beloved Black Opium with that rich coffee, and my beloved Yes I Am by Cacharel for its sweet and creamy quality. Pity that the coffee only comes through at the beginning; later it becomes fruity with a barely noticeable coffee note. I see it for daily wear and Black Opium for special outings because it’s finer, elegant, sexy, and sensual. If you’re buying Private Show for the coffee note, I recommend you go for Prerogative instead; I promise you’ll find the coffee there, even if it’s subtle, but you will definitely notice it. I love that coffee note in perfumes, especially when combined with white flowers.
It’s a gourmand fragrance, softly sweet, with coffee notes. It resembles Black Opium a bit; it’s less intense and less sweet than Private Show, but very similar to the latter.
To me, this perfume is very similar to Black Opium. I love the sweet coffee scent it has. The intensity and longevity aren’t the best; it lasts me about 4 hours, but for the price, it’s more than decent.
Oh no, it’s not quite the same as Private Show 😬. It has that Black Opium vibe in the top notes, but honestly, not much beyond that. It does smell like coffee, but I’m not convinced it actually resembles it… At first, I wasn’t sold on it; the opening is super alcoholic and took some getting used to, but once it dried down, that’s when I decided to keep it. Compared to Black Opium, this feels more feminine; I’ve never been drawn to the original because it feels too boxy to me, whereas this isn’t—it’s super feminine, nocturnal, like a flashier cousin of Private Show, perfect for parties. I’ll save it just for those occasions. I’m not sure if anyone has smelled Black Opium Neón, but it has that same vibe, cheerful and eye-catching (they don’t share the same scent, but it’s a good reference). P.S.: I wore it in summer heat today and it smelled absolutely delicious. The longevity and sillage are also insane. 3B, I get a delicious vanilla even though it’s not advertised. I hate the bottle, oh my god! I just got Poison Girl and they are almost identical!
I love this perfume; I adored its opening. The combination of fresh, juicy, and rich blackberry; the pink pepper gives a vibrant boost to the blackberry’s sweetness. I perceive the coffee as very sweet, like a latte or cappuccino, quite cloying but pleasant to the nose. The saffron and sandalwood get a bit lost but are eventually detectable on my skin after a few hours. Even though it was a gift, I would definitely buy it again; I love it. Unlike Midnight Fantasy, I do have to reapply it more often.
It’s a great perfume; the only pity is that it lacks intensity. On me, it has some staying power, but it stays very soft. The opening is fruity and boozy with a tiny spicy kick, then I detect the coffee with a hint of floral to settle into an amber, sweet dry down. I do find it similar to Black Opium, but less intense. If you don’t mind reapplying, go for it; it’s cheap and smells phenomenal.
“A fragrance for everyone” Britney says about Prerogative. It’s Britney’s first unisex scent after 25 female launches since 2004. It’s gourmand, reminds me of Private Show and a bit of her reformed Fantasy. It smells strongly of coffee and apricot, delicious. At first, you get apricot with pink pepper, then an excellent sweet coffee with saffron. After an hour, it leaves a warm sandalwood scent. Longevity is moderate to low; on my skin, it lasts about 3 hours, and the trail is very soft, clinging to the skin, which is very weak for an eau de parfum. It’s pleasant, and I think it’s for warm days; it projects more in the heat, even though the notes suggest autumn, making it better for spring. As a Britney fan, I was excited about the unisex angle, but I don’t see it as unisex at all; it’s quite feminine (and I enjoy women’s perfumes). It reminds me a lot of YSL’s Black Opium. I bought it blind for a steal (100ml for 20€). Longevity is poor at 3 hours, trail is moderate; I don’t get the eau de parfum concept, it’s almost eau fraiche, very weak. Autumn fragrance, intense coffee at first, but sweet and not natural, fruity (I love coffee, but here it feels artificial, like in Black Opium). I detect apricot, saffron, and woody notes. I use it at night after a shower as a cologne. You can’t wear it all day; after 3 hours, you feel washed out and like you’re not wearing perfume. A letdown and something to consider. I wouldn’t have bought it if I’d tested it first; I was motivated by the ridiculous price, it was new, and it had coffee. Does it smell good? It smells VERY good, but it’s not unisex and it doesn’t last long. When will she launch a perfume for men? There are many male fans.
I didn’t expect to fall in love with it, but I bought it blind because people said it smelled a bit like YSL’s Black Opium, and yes, just a little. But it’s less sweet and much more wearable in these cold times, since I can’t handle intense sweetness. It has a special scent. On my skin, it’s spicy with fruit; the coffee is barely noticeable, but it smells delicious. It lasts between 4 to 5 hours and, for once, it actually leaves a trail. I’ve tried Midnight Fantasy, and that one never leaves a trail, even though I love it. I also tried the classic Fantasy, but I can’t stand it, even in the cold, so I’m trying other releases from her to see which one clicks with me. I recommend it to those who like sweet scents, men and women alike, even if people say it’s feminine, lol.
Honestly, I bought it blind for the price. It was a huge hit; I absolutely loved it.
Here you can smell ‘ground’ coffee, not the beans. You can detect the saffron, so you need to like that note. Coffee and saffron dominate with a sweet touch. It smells like a cup of dark coffee with sugar and a hint of spice. It’s a dark perfume, perfect for cold or rainy days. It’s perfectly unisex, just a bit sweet.
I love it; it reminds me a lot of Black Opium.
This Britney perfume is weak. They say it’s a clone of Black Opium because of the coffee, but not even close! It doesn’t even reach the ankles. Prerogative is fruity and sweet; the coffee doesn’t stand out much. It’s synthetic but improves as it dries. The worst part is the batch is from 2023, maybe reformulated, with little potency. It lasts 2 hours, then becomes very intimate, close to the skin. Unisex? I’d say feminine unisex because of the sweetness. It reminds me of Private Show, but the latter smells better, projects more, and lasts longer.
A wonderful find at a great price. It smells woody and sweet, with a strong coffee note when dry. I bought it blind and loved it; the bottle is gorgeous too. Just be aware that the longevity is weak—I was surprised because the Fantasy line usually lasts longer. It lasts me about 2-3 hours, with moderate sillage at first and then very soft.
The one labeled ‘coffee’ isn’t similar to Black Opium. Prerogative is a very subtle coffee scent with sweetness. I don’t find the rest of the accords. I only smell it for about two hours before it disappears from my skin. It is true that it’s affordable, but even at its accessible price, I wouldn’t buy it again. I also own Black Opium; people say they’re similar, but in my opinion, they have nothing in common except the coffee.
If they tell you it’s coffee, it’s not Black Opium. Prerogative smells like very soft, sweet coffee. I can’t find the other accords they mention. It lasts about two hours on my skin and then disappears. It’s cheap, but at that price, I wouldn’t buy it again. I own Black Opium, and in my opinion, they have nothing in common except coffee.
