I bought it excitedly, but in Argentina you only get the Spanish retail version, which has too much alcohol and smells like generic fruity shampoo. If you want the real experience, look for the original US version. In Latin America, all the Fantasies are retail versions—it’s a rip-off.

🎪 Circus Fantasy (Batch 2016) – A timeless gem. My bottle from nine years ago is still amazing: the longevity is incredible; I put it on in the morning and the next day I can still smell that powdery violet dry-down on my skin. This batch has a depth that current reformulations have lost; now they’re lighter and more youthful. Mine balances the fruity and floral notes without being cloying. The heart is creamier, and the violet in the dry-down is much more pronounced. If you find an old batch, don’t pass it up: it’s an aromatic capsule from another era.

It smells great and is similar to Cacharel’s Amor Amor—sweet but aquatic and not cloying like other Fantasies. It’s one of my favorites in the line, along with Midnight and Jungle. The downside is that while the sillage is moderate, the longevity is terrible, and you have to reapply it frequently. Still, I love it.
oliendobonito
It’s super aquatic, but the longevity is disappointing: it doesn’t last more than four hours, not even on clothes. Ideal for spring, summer, and daily wear. I wouldn’t recommend it because there are other aquatic fragrances with better longevity and projection at this price point, like Cool Water, Blue Seduction, or Armaf Voyage Hawai. These are aquatic florals that last longer.

I bought it blind because I’d never seen a tester for this perfume, and I loved it. I’m a fan of Fantasy and Midnight Fantasy, but those two smell sweeter and cloying. This one has more of a floral and fresh touch, perfect for spring and summer. Even though it’s sweet, the fresh note saves it—it’s wonderful.
felipeliralipe
It would be perfect if it didn’t have those woody notes.

I got it a few days ago, and on the first use, it smelled quite citrusy. After letting it macerate for a few days, the scent turned into a subtle sweet fruity aroma (not cloying) with a great touch of violet on the skin. I liked it; I find it fresh and easy to wear in the heat. The sillage isn’t huge on me, but it lasts on the skin. I think it’s a good option for those who can’t tolerate such sweet perfumes.

I tried it at a discount pharmacy. I don’t know if it was the tester, but it smelled awful. What a pity.

I loved it because it smelled delicious all the time. The only thing missing was longevity, but it smelled super rich. I haven’t bought it again because they stopped selling it nearby, but I LOVE IT. Has it been discontinued?
Pamel7
It’s similar to Cacharel’s Amor Amor, but more youthful.

Bought it blindly for summer and nailed it: smells fresh, not sweet, and people keep complimenting me. Lasts about 3 hours on skin but projects more than 5 hours on clothes. Didn’t feel comfortable wearing it in winter, so I save it for hot days. Now in spring, I love it; my boyfriend says it smells like spicy and sweet ginger, even though I didn’t declare that, while I get a raspberry lemonade or lemon candy vibe. Rating: 8.5/10

Too fresh for my taste; I don’t feel any sweetness, just water and wood. It stands out in the heat for being so crisp. Maybe it’s underrated; it’s not a common or mass-market scent, but rather original and not for everyone. I always get compliments when I wear it, from both men and women.

To me, it has nothing sweet about it; it’s more fresh, marine, and aquatic. Perfect for the beach or a poolside terrace. The scent is nice and youthful with a soft trail, but the longevity was very weak; I eventually gave it away. It’s not unpleasant, but I expected something more gourmand based on the notes, and it wasn’t.
ari_sweetperfumes
Smells clean, like sugar and flowers. It’s not overpowering; I thought it would be sweeter, but it’s a light gourmand. It has the Cacharel Amor Amor vibe because it’s fresh, floral, and sweet, but they don’t resemble each other at all. Longevity is great and the trail is moderate; it lasted me an entire afternoon. Definitely buying again; it’s one of my favorite Britneys. EDIT: After trying it several times, it’s a shame it doesn’t last almost anything; you need more than three sprays to really feel it.

I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong or if they reformulated it because I barely smell it. It’s a pity because it smells delicious. It’s super frustrating that such a beautiful scent is so hard to detect, nothing like Fantasy Intimate which has an incredible trail and lasts hours…
Shiny_angie
Based on the notes, I expected something sweeter. I saw reviews saying it dries down fresh or aquatic, and I thought: how can it be if the notes are sweet? Well, yes, it’s fresh, to the point it could pass as unisex. I’m a lover of sweet and gourmand scents, but I was pleasantly surprised. It’s very pleasant and has an excellent trail, better than Hidden or Midnight Fantasy, which are softer. It feels spring-like and summery, but I think it works year-round; it’s a very clean all-rounder.

I wore it and people said it smelled like Fruity Loops and yogurt 🙄. I’d say it smells like rich shampoo. I won’t be buying it again.
Gabmarcer29
I really like it; it was a 15th birthday gift and at 25 it still smells the same, too bad they discontinued it. I bought it again during a flash sale for 690 pesos. It’s very sweet and fruity, perfect for school and everyday wear. Better for spring, summer, or winter due to the sweetness; if you don’t like sweet scents, this isn’t for you.

Too weak for my taste; I notice it’s very watery with a slightly plastic vibe, similar to Hidden Fantasy, which I assume are the “sweet notes.” I prefer its other siblings like the original, Intimate, or Electric. It doesn’t smell anything like Light Blue as they say, nor does it resemble Amor Amor. The one that comes closest is Hidden Fantasy, but this one is more intense and citrusy than Circus and still isn’t to my liking. I’ll put it up for sale since I doubt I’ll use it.

I read so many contradictory reviews that I hesitated to buy it and almost left it for the end of my Fantasy collection. Finally, I decided: for me, it’s a 10. I adore it. At first, I notice the scent of the fruits from Amor Amor 2003 (I think they reformulated it because I can’t smell them the same way anymore), but over time it settles into an aquatic scent like Light Blue. It has become one of my favorites in the line. 💙

At first, I thought it was weak and took a while to notice the scent, but once you wear it… it’s a delight! You can really smell the raspberry, sugar, violet, and vanilla. At work, people told me I smelled great, and it lasted 8 hours. Excellent.
Noraperfumes
Honestly, I’m torn between ‘I like it’ and ‘I don’t care.’ It’s pleasant, but it has a spicy touch I can’t quite describe, a bit too strong for my nose.

My first love in the FANTASY line. It’s my go-to perfume for going out at night; it smells so good! I’m completely in love with its projection and longevity. It smells like super fresh, powdery, velvety raspberry, giving off a vibe of an expensive perfume. It’s super sweet and fruity; the raspberry hits hard, just like the musk and vanilla. If I had to compare it to a texture, it’s 100% velvety. I’ll never get tired of it and need to buy more bottles. I love Circus Fantasy! Scent 10/10, longevity 10/10.
ferguan
The least sweet one in the entire Fantasy line I’ve tried. It’s nice, but the longevity is short.
Aaaareee
I really liked it; it’s sweet but not as much as the other Fantasy ones; it’s fresh, light, and sweet without being cloying. Ideal for spring/summer. The only downside is it doesn’t last long on my skin, but it smells so good I’m willing to carry the bottle in my bag haha.

Circus Fantasy, what can I say… In my opinion, it’s not an Eau de Parfum; I’d categorize it more as an Eau de Toilette due to its short longevity (barely 3 hours). Of the entire Fantasy line, it’s the one I like the least; however, its opening is citrusy, you can feel the raspberry and peach, giving way to a subtle vanilla close to the skin. The formula remains intact since its launch, as I’ve bought it 4 times, freshly released in my country via gifts from my brothers for Three Kings Day or birthdays (they know my taste for Britney). Since it launched in Spain in March 2009, it’s been the same scent and durability. It was only available in perfumeries for about 3 years before being discontinued… it’s easy to find online in Spain for 15€ for the 100ml size. For me, it smells good, I absolutely don’t dislike it, and I’ll use it in summer or spring since its notes suit that season better, and it won’t be one of my night perfumes for daytime wear. Edit: I’ve been wearing it for several days in May, and with the heat, the notes intensify and it lasts longer, about 7 hours in humid and warm weather. That said, I sometimes feel it’s masculine; I’d say it’s the most masculine of Britney’s scents.

I must admit that when I first smelled it, I doubted if I made a good purchase. Not because it was a bad smell, but because I imagined it differently. Anyway, first, let me clarify that this fragrance is indeed sweet, moderately; it’s not a subtle sweetness, but it’s not cloying either. It’s a pleasant and youthful aroma; definitely, you can perceive the fruity touch of raspberry, and I think the best way to describe it is as if you smelled a fresh raspberry completely dusted with powdered sugar (imperceptible) and placed it on the petals of a very soft, barely perceptible flower. As for longevity, it’s weak on me, lasting a maximum of two hours, and the sillage is the same story: weak and staying right on the skin. I think the seasons to use it would be a fresh spring and autumn in the morning. As for the thermal sensation, I’d say it’s slightly warm. Informal, for daily and daytime use.
COCOWOODS
At first, this fragrance evoked the scent of freshly cut cane, along with water lily and peony, then I felt an accord like melon and a ghostly raspberry, and finally sweet mint. I barely perceived the rest of the notes. I really liked the aroma, however, the longevity on my skin is terrible and the sillage is weak, so I wouldn’t buy it again despite its cheap price. Although it’s sweet, it looks great in hot weather. The bottle is very cute and the color fits the scent perfectly. What a pity about the longevity… 🙁

It smelled like pure sugar and too synthetic to me; bad, bad. I bought it blind and only used it once because I couldn’t stand it.
