After 6 months with this perfume, here’s my experience: I expected it to be powerful and overwhelming based on my experiences with other BS perfumes, but it wasn’t. At first, it lasted about 3 hours on skin with a barely perceptible trail. Upon spraying, I felt a strong aroma of boozy coffee with a citrus hint; after 5 minutes, the dulce de leche appeared, which will be predominant, accompanied by nectarine and orange orange blossom giving it a nice floral touch. The coffee is still felt, though with less intensity. It finishes with coffee and dulce de leche together, adding an amber, woody, and citrusy touch. I used it again this autumn and must say it has improved a lot; it lasted 7 hours on skin with a medium trail (high with over-application), which fascinated me. I also noticed the liquid was slightly darker than when I bought it. It will probably become one of my favorites for this cold weather, and I’ll likely repurchase it.
Dulce de leche! With a citrus opening from the clementine, alongside the whipped cream; this gives way to a soft, sweet fragrance losing the citrus side, the nectarine appears briefly joining the dulce de leche with a bitter coffee touch that softens over time, with the dulce de leche as the protagonist alongside the whipped cream, plus a soft floral note. I think it’s the orange blossom, the same as its ‘successor’ Private Show VIP, making it their DNA but being totally different. It’s sweet, sensual, soft, and very feminine. Simple yet elegant and versatile; I don’t find it fruity or powdery, nor an exact age range; I define it as multifaceted. Ideal from spring to winter. I’m surprised that being an EDP, its trail isn’t overwhelming, rather intimate. Moderate longevity. Very comfortable and excellent for daily wear. Beautiful presentation, a bottle that aspires to be a precious stone, a cheerful and youthful essence. Personally, one of Britney Spears’ best fragrances.
For me, a sweet lover, it’s fantastic. It smells sweet and creamy; it can be cloying if overused. On me, it has great longevity and a huge trail (I’m a teacher and always receive compliments from the kids throughout the day xD). I don’t see it for summer, yes for the rest of the year. Also, it’s not expensive; I love it!
Simply delicious. That creamy caramel scent is addictive; the coffee touch is very light, reminding me that a beautiful day begins with such smells. It has good longevity but in a very discreet way.
One of the best blind buys. I only went by the notes and thought it would be cloying, but not at all. It’s a soft, rich sweetness, creamy; you can feel the whipped cream, the coffee, and the dulce de leche standing out. I loved it. It doesn’t have great longevity or trail, but it is comforting. I recommend it to gourmand lovers.
It’s very, very sweet, extremely sweet. I tried it a couple of times but it was too much for me; I felt like throwing up because the gourmand just doesn’t work for me. I sold it.
A very sweet perfume, but more intimate, not as outward-facing as Fantasy. In my case, I smell the dulce de leche and vanilla strongly; it lasts all day. I love the dry-down even more after several hours—it’s an inexplicable sweetness that I adore, nothing synthetic. I think it’s better for cold days.
I love it; the coffee note balances it out, but it’s a delicious gourmand. I’m on my second bottle and would buy it again. 10/10.
The first accord is ALCOHOL. What a pity, but for the first few minutes, that’s the only thing I notice. If I press my nose against it or touch it with my lips, I’m in trouble. For some reason, on my skin, the fruity and floral notes stand out, nothing sweet 🤷. Over time, it seems to soften and gives way to the gourmand, but wow, just like all perfumes with similar base notes. I like it, although I don’t think it’s worth the price it has.
What smells the most is whipped cream with a touch of coffee. I like it because it’s soapy, which prevents it from being as heavy as other excessively sweet gourmands. The bottle doesn’t inspire anything regarding the scent. For the price, it’s worth having.
I’ve always been a fan of Curious. I remember that when Fantasy first came out, it seemed well-made but too sweet for my taste back then; I preferred florals. Over the years, thanks to my reconciliation with Angel by Mugler, I started to understand the gourmand genre. Private Show didn’t go unnoticed by me. I think it works just like Angel Muse with its original: there’s a lot of Fantasy here, but with a more mature and intimate tone—a creative twist that expresses an adult woman. The maturation is clear. I know many people are repelled by notes like dulce de leche or almond with chocolate; I stayed neutral but rejected anything cloying, finally enjoying reformulated versions that are less intense. The great success of Private Show is that balance in softening the coffee with cream and a present milky aura. There’s a fruity sweetness in the background that gives body to the musk and amber. The jasmine and clementine show up at the end, when the other notes step back. It should be called Private Fantasy; I love it. Fixation and trail are correct, nothing aggressive.
I love the sweetness, and this perfume is sweet. I smell the dulce de leche with the whipped cream; it’s so perfect, I love it so much.
I was gifted this perfume blind, and it upset my stomach at first, so I gave it away without giving it a chance. That was my mistake. It’s an easy, sweet, creamy, and feminine perfume, but I expected more coffee, something more defined. Here, I sense more vanilla and vanilla, which I found lacking. Also, the whipped cream smelled like blue Lubriderm cream to me. It was really a disaster; I don’t know why it smelled so bad. Maybe I’d give it another chance because it’s not a bad perfume; I think it just didn’t suit me. Now it’s clear: I didn’t love it.
I like it quite a bit, although I expected more coffee. On my skin, it barely registers; it smells like dulce de leche and whipped cream, which is delicious, but I miss the coffee. The longevity is acceptable (about 6 hours on skin, longer on clothes); I don’t know about the sillage since I couldn’t smell it with the mask on.
I used it until the bottle was empty, but I wouldn’t buy it again. At first, it smells like alcohol, then it turns sweet, but it doesn’t last long… It’s for school or going to the supermarket, for very casual occasions.
For gourmand lovers, it’s a delight, but in my opinion, it’s not well executed. I would have loved to smell the coffee, but it’s nowhere to be found. At first, it smells like all the top notes (and there’s no alcohol smell), like peaches in syrup with dulce de leche. After a few hours, only the dulce de leche remains, and a lot of it. Is it cloying? For me, yes, it’s like having remnants on my clothes that I have to smell all day. What a pity that no other note comes through. It doesn’t resemble Black Opium. I’ve read that Private Show is the same as Britney’s Prerogative; if I had to choose, I’d go with Prerogative, even though I haven’t smelled it, because I know it has coffee and sandalwood which would make it more intense. This one just smells like dulce de leche, but it has good sillage and longevity.
One of the best in the line. It’s sweet without being cloying, one of the most elegant gourmands they have.
I have this one to swap in Valencia. It comes with the big bottle, box, and everything, and I’ve only used it twice.
I was really looking forward to this, but upon smelling it, I was left unimpressed 😐. It’s soft, perhaps because I wear stronger perfumes. It smells nice, but it’s a sweet and very simple aroma, nothing extraordinary. It would be perfect for a schoolgirl. The dulce de leche, cream, and mandarin really stand out, with a touch of coffee in the background. Later, the musk and white flowers come through.
It was a blind buy, and as soon as I sprayed it, I noticed a hint of coffee. It’s a super wearable, creamy, and delicious gourmand, but it lacked intensity for me; maybe I’m just used to sweeter scents that last all day. In the end, it’s very soft.
What a rich perfume! I bought this perfume at the same time as Jessica Simpson Fancy and Good Girl by CH, and I must tell you the truth… this one is the winner for me. The ideal mix of sweet gourmand and white flowers, plus a dry down of musk and amber that kills it. Not only that: on my skin, the scent lasts more than 10 hours. It’s crazy. I had read and heard so many negative reviews regarding its longevity, but on my wrists, this perfume kept releasing scent no matter how much I sniffed it. I woke up the next day and my clothes and skin still smelled like dulce de leche and jasmine. A dream, really. I don’t know why people dislike it so much (maybe different versions? discounted perfumes?) but mine turned out pretty well and I’m very happy. The only thing is that the opening of Private Show is very alcoholic and a bit synthetic. The good thing is that it lasts very little and soon you feel the potent aroma of dulce de leche and whipped cream. I also don’t smell much coffee. Maybe it reaches to control the sugar of the dulce de leche, but it’s not noticeable as a single note. The heart notes are very well combined and it releases a very lactonic, luminous, and clean aroma, like the perfume bottle. A clear jewel. My mom told me I smelled like someone just out of the shower. I who used Fantasy in my adolescence (a bomb of cupcakes and kiwis), this feels like a much more mature and elegant perfume, but equally sweet and delicious. This one is creamy, clean, and floral. I have to say that I love it and if you can find an original and sealed one, you won’t regret it. Edit: It doesn’t resemble Black Opium at all.
Condensed milk coffee, homemade whipped cream, and vanilla sticks decorating it, just like that. On my skin, it lasts 10-12 hours projecting and on clothes for days. Synthetic? Yes, a little, but it’s still incredibly delicious. It’s an affordable one that’s worth a lot to have. If you like sweet coffee-with-milk types, this is incredibly delicious!!
The real deal; I was lucky enough to get it and it’s a delight of whipped cream and dulce de leche. I don’t like or identify with her signature at all, but her fragrances from years ago are a weakness for me. Good longevity, sillage, and they envelop me in their delicious, indulgent scent.
How delicious! It’s ultra-feminine; I loved it. At first, before spraying it for the first time, it reminded me from the bottle of Eve Confidence by Avon, and yes, they could say they have things in common, besides the whipped cream (they share cream, jasmine, and vanilla). But I gave away the previous one; I think I’ll keep this one and enjoy it. It has a very subtle fruity shampoo interior; apparently, that’s the hallmark of Britney perfumes, very clear in Midnight Fantasy (but very, very subtle), which makes them sexy for me. On that base, a sparkling ambered jasmine is laid down, emulsified by the whipped cream, coffee, and vanilla notes. On top of that and crowning the fragrance, I sense the delicacy, but in small quantities when it’s cold, and more jasmine when it’s hot. I’d add something that is already detailed, but sometimes I feel a note emerge that reminds me of lipstick and drives me crazy; I think if that note were more noticeable, it would be an even more famous perfume. I wish it were creamier, sweeter on the gourmand side (which is eclipsed by the jasmine); that would make the perfume stunning, but honestly, I’m happy; I didn’t expect this fragrance for the price it has, I didn’t see it coming! 😂 I heard someone say it’s like entering Starbucks; when I heard that, I thought it would just smell like coffee, but I’d say it smells more like Starbucks when they’re baking something with delicacy, and I’m walking in freshly showered with a very fragrant bouquet of jasmines in my arm and wearing creamy lipstick (plus the amber). Just like that for me, that’s what I smell. I’ve smelled it on a cool summer night and it goes perfectly. It also reminded me ((a little)) of Cloud; it gets close due to the vanilla-whipped cream ((that type of delicious whipped cream note, I don’t know if you have it like I do, different from the whipped cream note in other perfumes)). In fact, I layer them, but in this case, not at all unisex, but it differs quite a bit with the amber and jasmine it possesses. (I’d take out the amber 😆, I don’t like that note). The jasmine predominates but fights with the other notes all the time; the colder it is, the more the delicacy stands out. Literally, a delicacy (a delicacy in cool weather, something breezy), in which you lose it and sometimes find it and chase it; I love finding it in my hair. (More would be too much for my nose perhaps; in a closed environment, its amber tires me out a bit). When I tested Fantasy, I liked it but it seemed very “cheap” to me, very common, synthetic; this one is also synthetic but it works better, aiming to be a more sophisticated fragrance as Sputnikan says below in his super mega accurate comment. It ends up being one of my favorites and I can’t find anything similar to what I like most about this fragrance, but there’s a detail in it: that touch like lipstick but creamy, plastic, not iris, it also has something of the rice powder vibe without being powdery, but that something waxy that I can perceive very meticulously isn’t found in anything else, when already, in my area, this perfume isn’t easy to buy. Projects youth, youth in all its glory. It’s warm, slightly nocturnal, and very addictive.
Beautiful perfume! Smells like coffee with milk ☕ with a touch of vanilla 😋, delicious. Very much in the style of The Only One by D&G; it’s very sweet, Gourmand. If you like sweet Gourmand scents, you’ll love this. Longevity: 8 hours, sillage: moderate, it’s more intimate. Since it’s a celebrity fragrance, one expects more, but it’s good! I recommend it to teenagers who like sweet, youthful Gourmand scents 😁😁.
I’m writing again because the more perfumes I know, the more precious this one seems to me; it’s gorgeous! I’d love to find a similar one with better quality or more sophistication, for example, replacing the amber with cashmere; that would be fabulous, more avant-garde. I haven’t found this formula that makes me think of lipstick and all the femininity in any other; I just ask that when my bottle runs out, they still manufacture it and bring it to my country, where it’s already scarce. Its sweetness reminds me a lot of Juicy Couture Gold Couture; if you have one of the two, the other is redundant.
Dulce de leche, chantilly, and a tiny powdery touch (in this aspect, it reminds me of an Avon vintage scent I can’t recall). I don’t smell the coffee. I like it, but I don’t see it as sexy; rather, it’s cute, like something for a teenager. It’s not cloying. The projection is alcoholic; you can tell it’s on you (without it being overwhelming) for about 5 hours.
I have the body spray of this version and it’s delicious. It smells lactonic and sweet, like a bombón coffee. I use it right after a shower and love the scent; it would be amazing as a perfume. As a body spray, the longevity is about 2 hours, which is great, although it’s not my favorite among all Britney scents.
It’s very similar to Hugo Boss Private Accord, except the cocoa is swapped for dulce de leche. What a fierce battle; it fits right in with their combos! I don’t know who wins.
It’s like a rich, rich frappe, a fun and very sweet perfume. That said, I love Britney perfumes.
Delicious Private Show is a beautiful gourmand mix. For me, it’s hard to distinguish each note, but the scent is delicious, pleasant, subtly warm, and not invasive. Compared to previous launches from the brand, this fragrance marks a more mature stage, as it doesn’t reach the sweetness levels of the Fantasy line. Perfect for all day, the office, at home, or outings with friends—more suited for daytime activities. Absolutely recommended.
The scent is pleasant and sweet, but I expected more based on the listed notes. On my skin, it disappears after a short while. It’s very soft.
Of all my collection, this is the favorite. Maybe I’m biased because it was the first gift from my husband (he loves coffee), so my opinion isn’t entirely objective. Its aroma of coffee with milk and sugar on a rainy day is exquisite. I’ve already recommended it six times. It’s hard to find in my country, so I cherish the 1/5 of a bottle I have left. If I could find it in 200ml, I’d be very happy. Longevity: 5 to 6 hours, trail: 3 to 4 hours (it lingers close to the skin for a bit longer). Scent: 10/10, projection: 7/10. Obviously, I would buy it again.
It’s sweet, but I don’t smell the coffee, dulce de leche, or whipped cream at all. I only perceive a fruity sweetness, mostly nectarine. It’s nothing special, very soft, and has a terrible longevity.
It’s sweet and warm with a gourmand touch. What I smell most is nectarine and something milky; the coffee is super subtle and doesn’t stand out. I expected more—it feels like a rich celebrity perfume without a unique signature. It’s versatile for all seasons, but on my skin, the trail is low and it lasts 5 hours (very close to the skin). You can buy it blind because no one will hate it, but I’m not sure if I’d spend my money on it.
Notes of heavy cream, dulce de leche, and clementines. It can be too invasive because it’s so sweet; you have to use it with care. It’s decent for the price and lasts over 8 hours on skin.
Beautiful dulce de leche scent, but honestly, it doesn’t last at all and has zero projection.
Without a doubt, this is my favorite of all the ones I’ve tried. The note that dominates is dulce de leche, and it’s a delicious perfume.
To me, it’s a relaxed scent, perfect for cozying up at home. Honestly, the fragrance feels a bit weak; on my skin, it lasted about two hours before fading to almost nothing. I’d recommend it for casual gatherings, the movies, or laid-back outings. Since it doesn’t last long and isn’t overpowering, it stays very close to the skin. It’s better than a body mist, but if you’re looking to invest in something with coffee and dairy notes, there are much better options out there. I’d give it a 7/10.
