Presentation: The bottle is a stunning deep ruby pink with gold crystals and a gold neck. Scent: A friend from Canada brought it, and I found it curious; I thought it was the glitter edition, but it was the 2021 version, and I was amazed. The aroma is 80% similar to the traditional 2005 one but more ‘refined’ and mature. Although it’s still youthful and sexy, I don’t see many women in their 60s wearing it. It has a creamy patchouli touch like vanilla, lasts quite a while, and is ADDICTIVE. Extra note: Britney is the only one making money from her fragrances. She signed a contract before her conservatorship to launch new scents, which is why they keep releasing flankers like this. Her father doesn’t get a penny. All this happened because Britney stopped giving her input after the ‘situation’ with the conservatorship.
I ordered it blind and loved it, even more than the first one. It lacks that ‘spicy’ kiwi note; it’s sweet, gourmand, and I smell more vanilla than in the original. I know it’s not listed, but maybe that’s the cupcake note. Plus, it has great longevity. You can smell the patchouli and an earthy touch mixed with those delicious sweet notes. It’s like Fantasy grew up and is now an adult; the bottle is beautiful, a cherry/burgundy color with stones and a gold neck. If you like sweet perfumes, you’ll definitely love this.
After searching in vain for the unrefurbished Fantasy, I found this, which is practically what I remembered ❤️. The best part is that the sweet cupcake and white chocolate notes dominate. With the original, the kiwi’s acidic note was too much; here, it’s much lower. You still get that acidic touch, but the sweet notes are the stars, which is exactly what I’ve been looking for. 😁
I bought the 2005 version, and when it ran out, my husband gifted me this for my birthday. Unfortunately, it wasn’t the same scent anymore; it was there at first, but then it faded and smelled like something else. It didn’t last on my skin at all, so I ended up gifting it almost new. One day, as a perfume addict, I saw Britney had launched the Intense. I looked up reviews in English, and seeing the notes, I imagined it would be the old one. I ordered it and fell in love again. It’s 95% the scent of the 2005 version but more refined. On my skin, I don’t smell the patchouli; instead, I get chocolate, vanilla, and a light acidic touch, something creamy. It lasts over 12 hours and has a great trail. Just don’t over-spray. After trying the Orissima by Ted Lapidus, which are excellent, no one noticed them until this arrived. For me, it’s like that 2005 love that broke my heart and has now returned to stay.
It’s much sweeter than the pink Fantasy; it smells like a cupcake with plum jam and a ton of sugar. It feels refined and comforting, like a sweet indulgence that doesn’t get old.
At first, I thought it was a body splash from my 12-year-old self—that ‘Fantasy by ITZY’ that costs a fraction of this—and it didn’t disappoint: it’s not an intense scent. The sweet, floury pear comes through strongly, but the kiwi and lychee get lost. What I do find is a sugary, refined cupcake that’s incredibly addictive. Dry down, it shines: a deep fruity scent with hints of incense and patchouli that makes me feel mystical, warm, and embraced. It doesn’t project much; it stays close to the skin, so I have to spray a lot to make it last the claimed 10 hours, but once it’s there, it’s present. For the price, it’s a great daily wear for cold weather, though I’m still searching for that white chocolate and cupcake vibe I can’t quite fully capture.
It just arrived, and the first impression is that it’s identical to the traditional Fantasy… I went for the little pink bottle, and then, with a lot of coffee, I concluded the similarity isn’t that big. The traditional one seems more fruity, with that little citrus kick from the kiwi well present, daytime, cheerful, and cute. The Intense is a gourmand in its full expression: sweeter, creamier, and more mature. On my skin, the woody note stands out a lot; it’s sensual and nocturnal. I love both versions.
It just arrived. First impression: it’s identical to the traditional Fantasy… I went for the pink bottle, and then, with a bit of coffee, I can conclude the similarity isn’t that strong. The traditional Fantasy seems more fruity, with that little citrus kick of kiwi present, especially at the start. It’s daytime, youthful, and cute. Fantasy Intense is gourmand through and through: sweeter, creamier, and more mature. On my skin, the woody note stands out. It’s sensual and nocturnal. I love both versions.
I choose it over the regular Fantasy because I hate the opening of the original 😕, but everything else is wonderful. The opening of the Intense is sweet and stays that way; I love it.
@Nott just so you know, the ITZY Fantasy drugstore cologne was inspired by Britney Spears’ original Fantasy.
Okay, upon spraying, I got a familiar scent because I used a lot of Fantasy before it was reformulated. On my skin, it’s almost identical to that past Fantasy, just not as potent, but with great longevity: over 10 hours without issues, fading to skin scent. For those who love sweet aromas, it’s a definite yes. My daughter loved it and uses it a lot. I loved it!! It smells more like Fantasy than the current Fantasy.
I bought it out of curiosity because it was said to resemble the original before the unfortunate reformulation, and YES, honestly, it smells just like the Fantasy from my teenage years 🥰🥰. It’s sweet, exquisite—a blend of lychee, cupcake, and white chocolate that work well together. It’s incredible, long-lasting, elegant, sophisticated, and wonderful. I missed it because the current Fantasy is too fruity with lots of kiwi, which I like in fruit, but not in perfumery.
Fantasy Intense is woodier and has more patchouli than the classic Fantasy, where fruits and sweetness were the stars. It feels more mature and is only suitable for cold climates. The sillage and longevity are excellent, just like most of Britney Spears’ perfumes.
The Intense is more woody and loaded with patchouli than the classic, where the fruits and sweet chords were the protagonists. It seems like a more mature perfume, suitable only for cold climates. The trail and longevity are very good, like almost all Britney Spears perfumes.
I wanted the unreformulated version of the original Fantasy, but this isn’t exactly that. It’s woodier than the original, yet different. At first, it smells like white chocolate and a pastry, but once it dries down, it leaves a sweet woody scent. If you already own the regular Fantasy, it’s not worth buying; the difference is only about 5%.
I definitely love it; it’s very sweet and youthful. I’m usually the type to find perfumes fading in under three hours, but this one won me over. The longevity and sillage are incredible; several people notice the scent instantly. It clings to my clothes—I even shower and it still smells. Without a doubt, a very good and lasting fragrance 😍😍
Ohhhh, Fantasy Intense is staying in my collection forever. It projects well, leaves a trail, and embraces my taste… It’s sweet and gourmand, blending beautifully on my skin.
It starts citrusy, but that fades quickly, leaving a cloyingly sweet scent from start to finish, like a sugary pastry. It lacks originality. It barely lasts on the skin for two hours, though it lingers a bit longer on clothes. It’s pleasant, but it smells the same everywhere. I won’t be buying it again because it’s just too simple and common.
Playful, youthful, and feminine. Impossible to offend anyone, it’s a safe bet.
My favorite perfume for a few years has been the classic Fantasy (pink bottle), so when they gifted me the Intense I was very happy. Honestly, I thought it was much sweeter than the classic, but I felt it was a more mature fragrance, for night, nothing like the classic. That’s why I advise trying it first, because it might not please you. It’s pretty and delicious, but I had a different image of it in my mind. The longevity is amazing, like the other Fantasies: they’ve lasted me up to 7 hours on skin and days on clothes. The sillage is also good in the first hours, so it’s still a good perfume.
Trash, don’t waste your money! The body spray surely lasts longer. It smells good, but what’s the point if it’s barely noticeable beyond the skin? I don’t see any intensity and the longevity on my skin is 1 hour. The Spears perfumes have already become obsolete; they were my favorites before, now it’s pure money grab. If you can, buy a sample for real.
I loved the Fantasy EDP and now with the Intense I’m in love; it’s a bit more intense than the original. It’s a sweet gourmand perfume and long-lasting. Ideal for cool climates and has good longevity, although if the temperature rises it can be a bit suffocating. It brightens my day, it’s casual, and I feel it’s more feminine than unisex. Of course, I’d buy it again =).
I bought it because when I first tried it, the Ponquesito Dulce scent was very prominent, but over time it faded and now I don’t like it as much. What stands out most are the woods and patchouli. I use it at home on cold days or for layering. The longevity is decent for the price. It’s not that youthful and you have to use few drops, because it can be overwhelming for someone with you.
If you know the original Fantasy, this is its ‘adult’ version. I used the original in school and loved it; today, after 10 years, I’m still enchanted, but I needed that touch of character and ‘maturity’ I found in the Intense. The scent is delicious, keeps the original DNA, very gourmand but with a mysterious touch, less teenage. Still sweet, but I perceive it as more woody. Ideal for an afternoon with friends, a romantic date, or to feel beautiful and wrapped up. Moderate sillage; lasts 4-5 hours on skin and is noticeable on clothes by the end of the day.
It’s very similar to the original Fantasy version: a sweet scent. On my skin, it dries down a bit powdery, but it’s a very pleasant and wearable smell. The price is the best: a rich scent at a good price.
At first, it’s not much, but after an hour, ufff, it evolves sweetly. Although it doesn’t have caramel in the notes, it reminds me of candies to me, which is the best part. Even as hours pass, when you move, the scent stays delicious, like a sticky sweet. That’s how it feels on my skin ♡
I fell in love with this perfume. My mom bought it thinking it was the classic Fantasy, haha, and I still received it with delight. I can’t identify the patchouli, but the dry-down (on my skin) turns out full of white chocolate. Ideal for cold climates and occasional or daily use. I’d recommend a few sprays to avoid overwhelming those around you. Decent longevity: 4-5 hours on skin and up to 6 on clothes.
Sweet bomb! You can tell it’s the older brother, but the dry-down shines with even more sweetness and is super addictive. The patchouli and woods give it a lot of presence. I loved it; it lasts up to 9 hours on skin; by the end it’s soft but still noticeable. I love it! 🎉
Bought it on a whim and it didn’t disappoint. The note that stands out the most is patchouli, giving it a more mature and intense touch. However, the sweet notes are there and become easier to perceive as the scent develops.
It’s a bit strong, smells great, but doesn’t last. It’s very weak and doesn’t project as much as people told me it would.
Bought it blindly because it’s super cheap (around $15 in Iquique, Chile). Great find! When I was a teenager, I used the regular Fantasy, which was exquisite, and this isn’t half as good as it used to be. This one resembles the traditional version from before, but with a more prominent patchouli that fades later, dry but less so than at the start. It’s a patchouli like the one in Believe (which I love). The kiwi is much lower than in the traditional version. The bottle is gorgeous, which adds points. In short, very delicious, I just wish it lasted longer. I’ll let it macerate to enjoy it in winter.
Bought it without knowing the scent and it didn’t disappoint; it smells good, but it doesn’t last at all. I use it for daily wear and special occasions.
First sprays: if I had to define it, it’s WAY TOO PATCHOULY, with a powdery scent in the first hour that gives me a headache. Mature perfume? I’d describe it as smelling like ‘Mrs. So-and-So’.
For me, it lacks that woody touch from the original Fantasy that makes it smell so good at night.
Fantasy Intense (Batch 2025, Spain) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This batch exceeds my expectations. It keeps the sweet DNA of the original but with more depth and addictiveness. The opening is creamy and rounded. The floral heart is elegant, and the amber base warms the skin. The best part is the longevity: applied in the morning, I still smell it the next day, soft but present, like a caress that won’t fade. On clothes, it lasts even longer, leaving a comforting trail. This Spanish batch has quality and performance. If you’re looking for an intense and refined version, it’s a gem. Bought at Primor.
Arrived yesterday. Bought it on a whim based on reviews. I thought, since I like Fantasy, this would be similar but more intense. VERY INTENSE! So strong it’s overwhelming. The opening is potent; I don’t smell the fruity notes at all. Too strong for me, even though I usually enjoy intense scents. I detect lots of patchouli and wood, with barely any gourmand (chocolate, pastry). I have mixed feelings; it feels more unisex than feminine. I give it 5 or 6 stars just because the bottle is gorgeous.
Not my signature, but if I wanted to feel cheerful and bubbly, I’d wear it. It has the DNA of Fantasy but feels more mature; I smell rich pear and lychee with a soft patchouli. I don’t find the white chocolate, but the delicious pastry note is there. The woods are present and soft. It’s sweet but not heavy, so anyone could like it. The performance is surprising: it projects well, then the flowers emerge to balance it out, very pleasant.
Not my signature scent, but it smells delicious. The pear and lychee explode at the start. The patchouli is wearable with a sweet, pastry-like touch. I don’t detect the chocolate, but as it dries, the flowers balance everything out and add a touch of splendor. Amber and a subtle wood round off the fragrance. The performance is amazing, and it gets better on my skin over time.
