More than good for the price. Great longevity and it feels like a more natural, less overpowering version of La Vie Est Belle at an amazing price.
Exactly that with La Vie Est Belle low cost. Since I didn’t like La Vie Est Belle, I went home without it despite the name and bottle sparking my curiosity. Instead, I grabbed a bottle of Zara Nuit.
Smells amazing, but it lasts SO little on me—after half an hour, it’s like I didn’t wear anything at all 🙁 I have another Zara one from last year, E.L., and its longevity is decent, but this one just doesn’t cut it.
I made a stop at Zara to kill time (I don’t have much) and remembered this perfume displayed on the women’s side; I said, okay, let’s try it. At first spray, it smells very sweet; I found it pleasant and the aroma and sillage were extremely intense. About an hour after applying it, it seemed like a very heavy, spicy synthetic fruit scent to the point that it blocked my nasal passages haha, and that’s where I didn’t like it. I think it’s a scent only for women; even close to the skin after 4 hours of application, I can still perceive the blackcurrant and what seems to be the iris… I think it works for women aged 17 to 30… very youthful.
A somewhat peculiar perfume; I don’t find the resemblance to Lancôme’s La Vie est Belle despite having the same notes; the difference lies in the lack of jasmine and orange blossom. This perfume highlights the pear and blackcurrant a lot; it smelled like peach or mango to me, but apparently, the combination with vanilla and praline gives that sweet touch, very pleasant. For the price, it’s great for gifting, even if the longevity is short and the sillage is weak. Edit: I’ve been using it a lot and now it reminds me more of La Vie est Belle, but of course, this is softer; it’s not that monster that eats you with its scent, sweet, vanilla-scented, talc-like, but without being cloying; I’m liking it a lot :).
For the price, it seems fair. At first impression, it seemed very sweet and floral, contrary to what others say; I didn’t find a resemblance to La Vie est Belle, but upon applying it and comparing it with the one I already own, it’s an absolute yes. It’s very similar, though this one is a bit softer and simpler, not as loaded or invasive. I recommend it for those who like La Vie est Belle but it gives them a headache or feels too strong. Longevity is poor, about 3 hours on my skin, but given the price, it’s not uncomfortable to reapply.
An exquisite perfume. I caught a vanilla scent, sweet, with a bit of fruit, and it lasts all day. I use it for day and night. I took advantage of the 200 ml Zara presentation and it’s the second bottle I’m buying; the first was 100 ml. I highly recommend it; it’s one of my favorites. It feels like the style of Natura’s Humor Noir; I bought it and, due to the similarity, I gifted it to my sister haha.
An exquisite perfume. I detect vanilla, sweetness, and a hint of fruit, and it lasts all day on me. I wear it for both day and night. I took advantage of the 200ml size at Zara and it’s my second bottle since I already bought the 100ml one. Highly recommended. It’s one of my favorites. It reminds me of Natura’s Humor Noir since I picked it up recently and due to the similarity, I ended up gifting it to my sister, haha.
Clearly inspired by La Vie est Belle, very good aroma, perhaps very sweet. It lacks the depth of La Vie est Belle but seems to last long enough (I haven’t tested it on skin). Unisex? Well… I’m not sure if it’s for that.
Clearly inspired by La Vie Est Belle, very nice scent (maybe a bit too sweet). It lacks the depth of La Vie Est Belle but seems to last long enough (haven’t tested it on skin yet). Unisex? Well… I’m not sure if it’s for that many people.
Definitely not unisex. I believe it’s totally feminine as a scent. Very sweet and fruity.
Definitely not unisex. In terms of scent, it’s totally feminine. Very sweet and fruity.
Perfect. I think it’s for women aged 25 to 35 on fresh, spring, or autumn days. The initial note is the tartness of blackcurrants, which lingers over time; along with the pear, there’s a fairly subtle vanilla, almost like chocolate candies or pralines. Maybe there’s an iris, but not a white floral. Who knows, on me it took on a curious rose petal aroma, as if I picked a petal and crushed it between two fingers. I waited a few hours to perceive more scents, but it didn’t leave much; it lasted about 4 or 5 hours and then disappeared. The final note was patchouli, which is expected since it lacks a fixer, musk, amber, or sandalwood. What a shame; I think I’ll finish it quickly.
It’s true that it resembles La Vie est Belle, but I don’t see it as a clone or dupe. I consider it a soft, informal version, like a flanker. Unfortunately, it lasts very little and its sillage is very faint, though being so affordable, I wouldn’t mind using it again. Ideal for those who like La Vie est Belle but find it cloying or heavy; I stick with the original. Red Vanilla is quite soft; I’d use it in spring or autumn.
I don’t know if others experience this, but when it dries on my skin, it smells like clothes that dried poorly and are still damp. It has that characteristic scent, and it smells exactly like that to me. Unbearable for me, what a pity. I was convinced to buy it, and NO.
It’s true that it reminds me of La Vie Est Belle, but I wouldn’t call it a clone or dupe. I’d consider it a softer, more casual version that could easily be a flanker. Unfortunately, the longevity is very short and the sillage is too faint. That said, for such an affordable fragrance, I wouldn’t mind wearing it again. Ideal for those who like La Vie Est Belle but find it too cloying or heavy, though personally I stick with the original. Red Vanilla feels quite soft to me, so I’d use it in spring or transitional weather.
I don’t know if others experience this, but when this perfume dries on my skin, it smells like damp clothes that dried poorly and retained moisture. It has that characteristic odor. It’s unbearable for me, what a pity—I was convinced to buy it and now I regret it.
Smells super current; at first it reminds me of a rich glass of sangria, with noticeable blackcurrants, then the pear comes in with a lovely praline note. In the dry down it becomes vanilla-scented, sweet but soft. The longevity is medium; after that it stays close to the skin. I tried it out of curiosity because the gradient red bottle is gorgeous—I spun around the mall sniffing myself and my friends told me it smelled amazing. Given the vibe and the price, I bought it on the spot. Now I’m very happy; it resembles several trendy perfumes at an accessible price point. I recommend it!
I don’t think it resembles La Vie Est Belle, but I still love it! The scent is strong and long-lasting, perfect for nights. It highlights confident women, I think it’s more for 25+.
I don’t think it’s similar to La Vie Est Belle, but I still absolutely love it. It’s strong, long-lasting, and perfect for evenings. It really stands out, and I’d say it’s more for confident women, maybe starting at 25.
Well, it reminds me of Carolina Herrera’s 212 Rosé.
Oh my god, this perfume clashes badly with my pH. I bought it based on the good reviews, but unfortunately, on my skin it smells like rotting earth.
Horrible, it makes me nauseous.
Bought this for my mom, and unfortunately, neither of us liked it. The scent is unpleasant to me; I’d describe it as 10% fresh grape and 90% cloying, nasty sweetness. The longevity is the only positive, but since it doesn’t fade, it can cause nausea and headaches after a few hours. Rating: 2/10. I recommend it to no one.
I bought it three months ago and liked it a lot; yes, it has the LVEB vibe. I wore it all day, but the dry-down eventually became overwhelming. The sweet praline opening is exquisite and lasts 10 minutes, then it turns fruity, but after half an hour, ugh, it’s a sharp, intense patchouli that gives me a headache. It’s not bad… but it’s misleading. If you love the sweetness of LVEB, this isn’t your perfume.
I’ve used it a few times; it’s fruity, woody, and sweet. At first, I smell pear and some grape, which I think are blackcurrants, and the tonka bean adds a spicy background. Since it’s an EDT, it doesn’t last long on the skin; it feels fresh to me and isn’t exactly like La Vie Est Belle, though maybe it has some similarities. I think it’s youthful and great for a family lunch under the pergola. For the price, it’s a good gift—it’s rich and sweet—but I wouldn’t buy it again. It projects for about 30 minutes and lasts around 4 hours on skin. People say it smells good, but only at home.
I liked the dry-down. The opening is a bit woody with a heavy orange blossom, even though it’s not in the notes. The dry-down smells like vanilla, tonka, and powder. It’s not bad, but it doesn’t last long. I wouldn’t buy it again.
I tried several Zara scents because they usually get good reviews, but this one was disappointing. At first, it smells super citrusy, like bergamot or grapefruit, even though it’s not listed. The dry-down is a rich sweet I love, but it lasts a breath. After two hours, it’s almost gone, and by three, I have to reapply. It’s cheap, but for the longevity, I’d prefer another option. The scent isn’t bad, but I wouldn’t buy it again.
Got this as a gift hoping for vanilla, but at first it smelled more like a mature, intense floral than vanilla. Over time, I stopped mind the floral opening and now enjoy the soft sweetness that lingers in the dry-down. The longevity is short on the skin, though it lasts longer on clothes.
I was shopping at Zara and got tempted by several perfumes on the counter near the checkout, buying blind. When I got home and opened it, I was surprised (not sure if for good or bad) that it was very similar, almost identical, to La Vie Est Belle by Lancôme. Ugh, a very sweet and mass-market perfume. Since it was cheap, I didn’t regret it, but I was scared to wear it. Today, on a day that wasn’t too hot, I decided to give it a chance; since it’s cloying, I only applied two sprays to my neck and wrists. So far, it hasn’t given me a headache or discomfort. It’s invasive, I don’t think it’s youthful, maybe more for someone over 30. The blackcurrant note is very prominent along with the vanilla, so from there I just feel sweet… anyway, a good dupe if you love LVEB-style perfumes.
The best one. It has an intoxicating aroma. Although it’s not subtle because it’s strong, I find it very charming and with touches of a powerful woman. If you like strong perfumes, you shouldn’t miss trying this one.
I got the 2022 refillable bottle version, reformulated, right? Because it doesn’t match everyone’s reviews. It’s terribly made: very alcoholic opening with artificial blackcurrant; the pear and patchouli are overdone, there’s too much iris, and a bad peach note that overpowers everything and lingers in the dry-down; the vanilla and praline are nowhere to be found. The early dry-down has an air of Poison Girl EDP, but the end is sweet peach plus makeup, all super synthetic. Longevity, trail, and projection are nonexistent; I sprayed it 10 times and nothing, in less than an hour I could barely smell it on my clothes. As a lover of red fruits, I’m terribly disappointed; I’ll either experiment with it or let it age to see what happens.
I tried it today. At first, it smells like a citrus note even though it’s not in the pyramid; it could be pink grapefruit, pomelo, or tangerine. I also smell rich grape, maybe blackcurrant, and perceive vanilla. When it dries down, it’s soft and might have an air of LVEB, but it doesn’t seem like a dupe since I own the original and know it well. Regarding fixation and longevity, it’s no secret that Zara perfumes or body mists aren’t the most durable or have the best projection.
Great perfume, good longevity, and works well on skin since I generally don’t wear fragrances due to having sensitive skin. When I apply it, it smells similar to La Vie Est Belle, but over time it becomes more vanilla and the scent gets even more delicious. Honestly, I didn’t like that it smelled so much like it because so many women wear that scent and I didn’t want to blend in; that’s why I like it now because it changes after two hours. Note: I wore it on rainy days, but now with the sun it turns into a cheap smell. It would be better to apply it where clothes cover it, don’t leave it in the sun. The scent is no longer rich 😔
I bought it in 2023 and was pleasantly surprised to find it still intact on my wrist from morning until night. It stood out because other Zara perfumes don’t last this long. Maybe I got a lucky batch or it’s just my skin’s pH, but it definitely lasts. I like the scent; it has an air of LVEB but isn’t a dupe. The first spray is citrusy-fruitful for a few seconds before settling into a fully woody and vanilla profile. Ideal for cold climates and daily wear.
Just bought this in 2023 and was surprised to still have it on my wrist from morning to night without fading. It stood out because my other Zara perfumes don’t last this long. Maybe I got a lucky batch or it’s my skin chemistry, but wow, it lasts. I like the scent; it has a touch of Lancôme’s La Vie Est Belle, but it’s not a dupe. The first spray feels a bit citrusy-fruity but fades quickly into a fully woody-vanilla fragrance. I think it’s ideal for cold weather and daily wear.
La Vie Est Belle Eau de Toilette is a good dupe. It smells just like the original but much softer, which I’m not sure is a bad thing considering how potent the Lancôme one is, but I wouldn’t buy more from Zara before this one. It’s decent, just a very generic vanilla scent; if there isn’t a more generic vanilla in the last decade, this is it. I’d probably prefer the Gardenia (a dupe for Black Opium) if I’m looking for generic vanilla.
I don’t like it. I get a sweet opening with a musty, damp smell that’s unpleasant, like an old house. The good thing is it barely lasted 20-30 minutes on my skin; after that, it only smelled on my clothes and had completely faded by the next hour.
A really good dupe for La Vie Est Belle. It’s not identical, but it follows the same vibe. I’ve liked it quite a bit and the performance is solid.
It reminds me of La Vie Est Belle but lacks the intensity; the trail and longevity are nonexistent. I tried it at Zara based on reviews, but it didn’t convince me at all. I’d suggest trying other scents in the store instead—I absolutely loved Oriental: it lasts longer and projects much better.
