  I picked it up on sale after reading Dolce’s review. On the skin, it’s a powerful floral blend of orchid and jasmine with a touch of pink pepper. It starts with citrus but fades away in just a few minutes. On my skin, it lasts about 5 hours.

  Floral, elegant, and enveloping. Although it has good sillage, my usual criticism of Avon is always the short longevity on my skin. I like it more at night than during the day, perhaps because the orchid is very enveloping. But overall, it’s a hit and a good perfume from the house.

  It was on promotion, I read the Dolce review, and decided to buy it. On the skin, it’s a strong floral scent (orchid and jasmine) with pink pepper. At the start, I felt the citrus, but they disappear in minutes. On my skin, it lasts about 5 hours.

  What a lovely tribute to orchids. On my skin, I feel a good fusion of orchid, sandalwood, gardenia, pink pepper, lily, and jasmine. With delicious citrus at the start. I wore it day/autumn and it goes well with the sun of this season; I wouldn’t wear it in the heat. Very good creation by perfumers Annie Buzantian and Frank Voelkl, who have worked for Marc Jacobs, Dolce & Gabbana, Estée Lauder, and other jewels.

  Rare Flowers Night Orchid by Avon: sour opening combined with gardenia, white flowers, and orchid, feels creamy. It’s elegant and serious, moderate sillage, and lasts 4 to 6 hours. For cold climates and formal evening use, ages 25 and up. I feel the gardenia takes the spotlight from the orchid; it’s a floral perfume, sour and sweet.

  What a delicious perfume! Just arrived from the online store, so I can’t say much about longevity yet. Bergamot, orchid, musk… sour and elegant opening. You can slightly detect the lactonic note. What rich orchids Dior has! I loved the sillage, about a meter. I bought it blind; I knew about it because last year Avon was selling it and a client asked, but she thought it was too expensive. They relaunched it in March, and since I liked discovering the catalog, I decided to order online. No regrets. It’s a very striking scent, great for night if you want to turn heads.

  The Rare Flowers Night Orchid from Avon starts sharp with gardenia, white flowers, and orchid, all very creamy. It feels elegant and serious, with a moderate trail and lasts 4-6 hours. Ideal for cold weather and formal evening dates starting at age 25. For me, the gardenia steals the show from the orchid, so in the end, it’s a sharp yet sweet floral.

They relaunched it in the March cycle, and since I liked the new catalog discovery back then, I decided to order it online. No regrets at all! It’s a very striking scent, I assume it’s great for evening wear if you want to turn heads.

  I love its powerful, sharp opening that fills the room. Then come the flowers, absolutely delicious, a real gem. It lasts well and has a great trail. The bottle is gorgeous, mimicking an intense violet orchid. I’ve loved it so much.

  Honestly, I don’t perceive the notes separately, not even the citrus ones. It’s an elegant perfume, more for evening or night, summer rather than winter. It’s noticeable, long-lasting, intense, special, and hard to decipher. Plus, I love its bottle.

  It’s a rare, very particular fragrance. Sometimes I love it, other times not so much. At first, I thought it was intense and the floral sweetness made me feel sick. I realized it goes with cool or cold weather (fall, winter, and early spring) and works best with few sprays. On my skin, it lasts a long time, surely 6 hours, maybe 7 if I apply more. I can’t distinguish many notes, maybe because I don’t know orchids well, but I sense gardenia, some jasmine, a sour touch at the start (I guess citrus) and pink pepper. The dry down is spicy. It’s rich, but my nose gets tired quickly and I don’t find many occasions to use it. I prefer other scents; even though I like it, it’s not easy to wear daily. It smells different, elegant, refined, and very feminine. A little goes a long way, it’s long-lasting. If you like bold, elegant florals for night or cool weather, I recommend trying it. I wouldn’t wear it in summer here, but I’ll use it more with fall. It’s a great perfume, nothing cheap, high quality.

  I don’t see myself wearing this in winter; it smells very fresh and clean, floral of course. I’d put it in spring, maybe from mid-February. It works well day or night. I’m not into perfumes that smell like soap, and this reminds me of one I used to wear, but if you like those scents, it’s fine. I think it’s more age-flexible, from 19 years and up if you’re looking for something serious.
