Pear takes the lead. Very fruity with a soapy touch. I’m not sure if it would be overwhelming for daily wear, but it definitely lasts.
I wore it today… You have to wait at least 5 minutes for the honey to come through. I prefer the Dot, though I see this one as more suitable for hot days thanks to that slight soapy touch.
Full of pear and no honey. It’s sweet and fresh, giving off a youthful vibe. It feels a bit generic to me, nothing original. It’s not bad, but it doesn’t give me goosebumps.
Full of pear and no honey. It’s sweet and fresh, with a youthful vibe. Sounds a bit generic to me, nothing original. It doesn’t do me wrong, but it doesn’t give me goosebumps either.
I was on an express trip, short on time and motivation, and spotted this original, fun, and pretty bottle. The scent was quite nice; I couldn’t test it on skin but it seemed interesting: a very well-balanced honey with fruity notes. I was drawn to that original touch I’d never tried before, I think it was the punch. It’s worth a try; I’ll test it on skin, and if it convinces me, it will be a pleasure to have this bottle and fragrance in my collection.
I tried it today and it smells like melon gum. It’s not ugly, but…
I tried this fragrance today and it smells like melon bubblegum. It’s not unpleasant, but…
I was looking for something sweet and soft, and I found this—I really like it. At first, it smells like pear and tangerine, then a very subtle honey note comes through. The sillage isn’t huge, but it lasts well on my skin. I love the bottle; it’s a beautiful jar. I wouldn’t get tired of this perfume 🙂
I was looking for something sweet and soft and I found this. At first, it smells like pear and tangerine, then the honey comes out very subtly. It doesn’t project much, but it lasts on my skin. I love the bottle, it’s gorgeous. I wouldn’t get tired of it 🙂
Absolutely, it’s a summer or spring perfume. Fresh, sweet, energetic, and youthful. The packaging is stunning, and the butterflies make you imagine a very spring-like scent full of flowers. What I love most at first is the pear, tangerine, and a fresh green note. On my skin, the floral notes come out next—fresh and sweet: honeysuckle, a touch of anise, orange blossom, and roses. I don’t detect the peach. Over time, it softens, leaving honey, vanilla, woods, and flowers, which is very pleasant. The longevity is decent: 3 hours on skin at its peak, then it fades, but the base notes linger until 10 hours (very softly). You need to apply it multiple times; two sprays aren’t enough. I think it’s better than its sibling DOT; it wins in longevity and scent, even the bottle. I recommend it for sunny days, outdoors, and daytime wear. It’s almost timeless, like classic colognes. You can wear it from age 12 to 60 without issues. It works for work or hanging out with friends without being cloying. I already have the Honey and the Dot; I’m missing the Pink Honey… Has anyone tried it? Which notes last longer and for how many hours? Thanks.
Definitely the quintessential summer or spring perfume. Fresh, sweet, and full of youthful energy. The bottle is gorgeous, and those butterflies make you imagine a super springtime scent, full of flowers. In the top notes, pear, mandarin, and a fresh green touch stand out. On my skin, the heart is floral, fresh, and sweet: honeysuckle, a hint of anise, orange blossom, and roses. I don’t detect the peach. Over time, it softens, leaving honey, vanilla, woods, and flowers (maybe violets), which is very pleasant. The longevity is good: three hours at its peak before fading, but the base notes linger for up to 10 hours (very soft). You need to apply it multiple times; two sprays aren’t enough. I prefer its sibling DOT, which surpasses it in longevity, scent blend, and bottle. I recommend it for sun and outdoors. It’s almost timeless, like classic colognes; people from 12 to 60 wear it. Perfect for work or hanging out with friends without being overwhelming. I already have Honey and Dot, but I’m missing Pink Honey… Has anyone tried it? Which notes last longer and for how many hours?
Long-lasting, fresh, fruity… The first thing you notice is the citrus scent, though it never disappears. As minutes pass, the honey appears. I like it a lot, not for daily wear, but yes, for summer nights.
Let reviews be based on satisfaction and the memories the product brings, and primarily on whether they please personal tastes. I’ve had bad experiences with big brands and great ones with some low-profile ones. Honey is everything a costly fragrance should never be: jarring, cloying, annoying, characterless, and predictable. It’s the recreation of a fruit salad to which too much artificial sweetener has been added until the taste becomes repulsive. To recreate Marc Jacobs’ Honey: mix all the chopped fruits you can find, add two bags of sugar, a liter of honey… and a white flower on top to make it look attractive. If you followed correctly, you’ll have the visual image of the scent. It reminds me of a spoiled child’s tantrum who won’t stop screaming until his mother gives him what he wants, as long as his nerves don’t snap. The only good thing is the longevity and trail… which must be wonderful for those who like it. But I’m not in that group. If you like it, wear it shamelessly.

It makes me dizzy.
It’s very fresh and youthful for spring and summer, with long-lasting duration and fruity notes. I don’t know, but even though it doesn’t have pineapple, it gives me the impression or reminds me of pineapple candies.
I have a love-hate relationship with this perfume. The opening is cheerful and refreshing, but after a few seconds, it turns into a really overwhelming ‘mélange’ of fruits. I don’t perceive the honey at all, and its scent is more like a ‘body mist’ than a perfume with such a high price tag.
Another beautiful bottle from Marc Jacobs (already overused by the brand in various shades), with a very simple fragrance. In my opinion, zero creativity. Honey smells to me like a plate of fruit (I detect banana, a note not described), with the dominating, annoying pear, accompanied by sweet orange and peach, to which they added lots of honey and a timid vanilla base. It lacks personality, grace, or spark; it’s pleasant but nothing more. I think it’s more for girls than for teenagers, young women, or those of us past 30. I doubt it will captivate us. Also, the trail is soft and the longevity is low; it lasts about two hours on blotter.
Another pretty Marc Jacobs bottle (they’ve done several in different shades), but with a very simple scent and, in my humble opinion, lacking creativity. The Honey smells to me like a fruit salad (I detect banana, which isn’t listed), with the pesty pear dominating, accompanied by sweet orange and peach. They’ve added a lot of honey, with a shy vanilla at the base. It lacks personality, grace, or spark. It’s a pleasant scent but nothing more; I think it’s more for little girls than for teenagers or women over 30; I doubt it will captivate us. Also, the trail is soft and the longevity is low, lasting barely an hour or two on paper.
I’ve had this for a few years… I loved it at first, but then it started cloying me out. It was that mix of crushed fruits and honey you described. I ended up giving it away.
This wonder just arrived. The first thing I notice is the punch, with very prominent citrus peels, pear, and honeysuckle filling the space. Gradually, it fades into peach and a very subtle honey; I don’t detect the other ingredients, but they probably help with the top notes. It lasts about 6 hours. I find it soft, perfect for mild, gloomy, or rainy days. It smells like freshly cut honeysuckle, sunshine, and spring… I love it. The bottle literally represents the perfume.
Just bought it. It’s pretty and soft; I think I bought it more for the bottle, but I actually like it. I wouldn’t wear it every day, but it has a nice trail.
Bought it blindly because the bottle is gorgeous. Warning: don’t be fooled by the reviews; the best way to judge is to test it on skin. It’s very special and everyone smells it differently. For me, it starts with a juicy pear, then shifts to a soft honey scent with a touch of vanilla and a hint of fruit punch. It’s fresh, elegant, and perfect for spring and summer. The trail is soft, lasting about 6 hours on skin and up to 9 on clothes.

In its opening, the fruit punch is very noticeable. In its dry down, more than pear or peach, it smells like a freshly cut ripe Fuji apple with a touch of honey. It lasts about 4 hours on my skin with a moderate trail. The best perfume if you love the smell of ripe apples. Also, the bottle design is incredibly beautiful.
The first time I applied it to my skin, I loved it, but then I found it very sweet. The first scent I notice is a mix of tangerine and pear. After half an hour, I feel a mix of peach, pear, and honey; however, the honey feels artificial. I also have a love-hate relationship with this perfume, as the opening is cheerful and fresh, but as I said, it later turns into a very sweet mix of fruits. I would use it in spring during the day.

Half an hour later, I detect peach, pear, and honey; however, the honey feels artificial. I have an on-again, off-again relationship with this perfume: the opening is cheerful and fresh, but then it turns into a very sweet mix of fruits. I’d wear it in spring during the day.
This fragrance is a resounding NO for me. I tried it several times because it was a gift from my boyfriend; unfortunately, I suggested he buy it when I saw the bottle and thought it was amazing, but NO. That tangerine and the punch note with honey make it an extremely artificial and unpleasant scent. I don’t like the opening, the heart, or the dry down. The only reason I keep it is because it was a gift. Another bad and non-trivial point: the bottle quality is abysmal. Since I got it, the gold nameplate has peeled off at least four times, the cap wings have broken several times, and the inner gold rim has turned black and sticky, which is very uncomfortable.
This fragrance is a complete NO for me. I tried and tried several times because it was a gift from my boyfriend who, unfortunately, suggested it to me when I saw the bottle and loved it, but NO. That tangerine and I guess the punch note with the honey make it an extremely artificial and not at all pleasant scent; I don’t like its opening, heart, or dry down. The only reason I keep it is because it was a gift. Another bad thing, and not a minor one: the bottle quality is terrible. Since I got it, the gold plate indicating the name has peeled off at least four times, the two wings of the cap have broken several times, and the inner gold rim of the cap has turned black and sticky, which is very uncomfortable.
I recently acquired this perfume, even after reading negative comments about it, and it really smells artificial, like a new doll, typical cheap perfume smell, though it’s not that cheap for its quality. I wouldn’t buy it again; the bottle is pretty and has good projection.
The same thing happened to me that other girls have commented. I wanted to give it a chance despite the bad reviews I’ve seen, as I thought the notes matched my perfume tastes, but I have to say it didn’t kill me. It’s a very simple, fruity perfume and that’s it. It has absolutely nothing special. The honey feels extremely light, the trail is quite weak, and the longevity is non-existent. While I like the smell, it lasts about 3 hours. I really don’t recommend it.
I can’t handle it. I think it’s the punch note; I notice it too much. It’s the only note my other perfumes don’t have. I don’t usually wear perfume at night, but the day it arrived, I was so eager to smell it that I put it on and went to bed. A few hours later, I woke up feeling terrible, suffering from the worst gastroenteritis of my life. Since then, I’ve developed a strong dislike for it.
I detect very alcoholic notes and lots of honey, but it’s passed, so I wouldn’t buy it again.
I tried the first formula or whatever it was and a friend smelled like Alba Botanica’s discontinued cocoa shampoo, so I looked it up and when I smelled it, it was horrible. Too much honey, but I couldn’t get the scent out of my head and wanted to buy it. Years later, I found it online and purchased it. The little bottle has changed, and so has the formula because it doesn’t smell as much like honey anymore, and the tangerine is very noticeable. I have to say, once worn, it feels vibrant, fun, risky, and fresh. It lifted my mood. When it dries, it feels a bit powdery and woody. However, I’m not sure if it’s olfactory fatigue or something, as I can’t perceive it on my skin. Still, I try not to wear too much because the scent could be an acquired taste, as tangerine with honey 🤔 Smells good, but not for everyone.
The bottle is divine, but the scent is very ugly… sorry. I’m just keeping it as decoration. I don’t know what it is, maybe the honey or something, but it just doesn’t work 😪

I love sweet perfumes, but I have to say the only nice thing about this is the bottle. It smells like cheap grandmas’ cologne, and it lasts and projects nothing.
