About Prima Parte Lychee & Oud
Prima Parte Lychee & Oud: Zara's New 2026 Fragrance by Jo Malone
Prima Parte Lychee & Oud is a new unisex fragrance from Zara, released in 2026 and developed by perfumer Jo Malone. It belongs to the Oriental Floral olfactory family and finds its character in a fresh-fruity top over a deep, resinous base.
The composition is built around three clear moments: lychee at the top, neroli in the heart, and oud wood at the base. It is marketed for both men and women, and its first community ratings place it at an average of 3.44 out of 5.
The opening is bright and juicy. Lychee gives an almost watery, tropical sweetness that feels crisp rather than syrupy. This freshness is soon balanced by neroli, which brings a clean, white-floral purity with a subtle orange-blossom bitterness.
The base is where the oud takes over. The woody, slightly smoky note grounds the composition and shifts its mood from luminous to warm. The contrast between the fruit and the oud is the main driving force behind the scent.
According to the recorded accords, the fragrance carries many facets: fruity, fresh, tropical, oud, white floral, citrus, fresh spicy, aquatic, green, and floral. These descriptors point to a versatile blend that can feel both juicy and crisp, with soft woody depth underneath.
Jo Malone's approach here seems deliberately restrained. Rather than layering too many materials, she lets the three main notes stand out, while the supporting accords add texture and evolution. The result is a modern, wearable oriental floral.
At the time of writing, the fragrance has 32 ratings and only two written reviews, which makes it difficult to draw strong conclusions. Still, as a 2026 launch, Prima Parte Lychee & Oud is already generating curiosity among fragrance enthusiasts.
Anyone who likes contrasting fruity and woody scents, especially fans of lychee, neroli, or soft oud. Its balanced character also makes it a safe choice for office or daytime wear.
Prima Parte Lychee & Oud is a confident, easy-to-wear addition to Zara's lineup. With lychee, neroli, and oud working in harmony, it offers a fresh take on the oriental floral genre and deserves a test if you want something modern and versatile.

It’s a pleasant oud for all audiences. Nothing challenging or animalic.
It ends up being something generic like Invictus; the opening is very fleeting, with a lychee you’ll barely notice, and it dries down to a sweet amber base. Performance is perfect; it makes itself noticed in every way, and a lot. It’s very good for everyday wear and for any time of year.
