Descripción

Peau Salée by Teo Cabanel is a floral fragrance for men and women. Launched in 2022, this composition features the olfactory signature of Patrice Revillard. The olfactory pyramid unfolds with top notes of salt and coconut water, a heart of frangipani (plumeria, plumaria, atapaima) and jasmine, and a base that evokes mineral notes, pieces of driftwood, and tonka bean.

  • Finally, I have a salty fragrance with mineral notes and a coconut that I love 100%, because let me be clear: I absolutely adore it. It has a very well-balanced, light coconut, fresh like coconut water in the middle of summer, refreshing and thirst-quenching. It has a wide trail and very good longevity, lasting over 8 hours. It’s an Eau de Parfum with subtle sweet accords that make a difference; the tonka appears without stealing the spotlight, and the woods emerge at the end as a complement. Here, minerals, coconut water, and fresh sea air dominate, with the florals barely noticeable. It’s a fascinating work by the young French perfumer Patrice Revillard, a marvel that exudes summer, tropics, and unforgettable adventures. Magnificent, and I think it’s my best discovery of 2022. I invite you to try it; although I’ve never been a fan of marine, coconut, or salty scents, this one left me speechless. Formidable, as I affectionately say: nasal orgasm.

  • This perfume transports me to the beach, lying on a towel, with the sea breeze relaxing and dissipating the heat, as if I were wearing a light coconut lotion after a saltwater bath. At first, for the first five minutes, I thought I wouldn’t like it; the opening is very salty and sharp, letting nothing else bloom. But when that initial phase fades, the magic appears: the coconut isn’t dense or creamy, but rather drinkable salty coconut water, mixed with drifting woods and a floral touch over a warm base. It’s slightly sweet, without being overwhelming, perfect for hot days. The opening doesn’t convince me, but after 30 minutes the dry-down is exquisite. I see it as unisex and 100% summer. The performance is decent, projecting for a couple of hours and lasting about 6 hours on skin. I’m glad I tried it; finally, I’ve found a salty and aquatic perfume that I truly like.

Sounds like a softer, kinder version of Salaria. It’s a scent that screams summer.

  • It smells to me like beach skin, but those desaturated, dusty kinds, like a plasticized ocean. It reminds me of educational video games, gift shops in museums, and that childish desire to dig for dinosaur eggs with a paintbrush. If there is a beach, it’s the one you only reach on a Netscape boat with Enya playing in the background, where dolls cultivate melon and celery hybrids on terraces with whimsical pipes that require solving spelling to function. And yes, there is a planetarium with carpets in the hallways.
