Much less lactonic than one would expect from a perfume with that name and those notes. It might have a distant milky vibe, but I’d say this is gourmand wood. I like it for staying in during winter; it’s very comforting.

It was a blind buy; I bought it because I heard it was beautiful and smelled different. To be honest, I’m not a fan of lactonic notes, but this perfume is the exception. I like that it’s sweet and soft but has woody undertones that balance this sweetness so it’s not cloying. It reminds me of a Ponyo scene, when the kids drink milk warmed with honey and cinnamon; if I imagine how that drink smells, this perfume comes to mind. It’s a scent I recommend for day and night, cold or fresh days, but for very hot days, it’s better to skip it because it can feel heavy and cloying.

Finally, I found how to describe this fragrance: It smells like baby vomit. But like a mother’s milk baby vomit, sweet and a little acidic. It sounds disgusting, but I struggle to think of anyone who would dislike the smell of a baby drinking milk. I LOVE IT.

It’s a good perfume, it lasted quite a while on me, and it’s a very original scent, but on my skin, I smell too much burnt wood. I really like the point of sweet and creamy marshmallows, and the wood suits it well, but I wish it were less smoky (though I admit it would be less original). It seems like you came from the countryside and have been sitting in front of the fireplace for too long. Edit to say my roommate asked me if something was burning, that it smells like smoke, so I confirm it wasn’t my imagination.

Although it might seem obvious, if you love milky scents, this is your perfume. It opens with pure, creamy, and sweet milk, an absolute and hyper-realistic protagonist. It was a total surprise; I’d never smelled anything like it, yet it doesn’t feel jarring; it works well even though it smells like a glass of hot milk. After a few minutes, the milk blends with a woody and slightly smoky base, transforming into a cloud of slowly toasting marshmallows. That part is my favorite: exquisite, cozy, and comforting. It’s not meant to grab attention or necessarily be sexy, but an intimate, mysterious, and captivating scent, like an enhanced second skin. It’s earned compliments from both men and women. In my opinion, it’s 100% unisex. Moderate projection for the first two hours, then an intimate trail with notable longevity of about 6 hours. I know it could be better, but it’s not bad. In short: I love it and I’m getting a bottle.
