Another rare miss from Teo Cabanel. At first, it smells like strawberry gum and you think, ‘this has potential,’ but within seconds it turns sticky, almost like gasoline, and nothing pleasant. If they wanted something different, they got it, but originality doesn’t always equal quality. Total disappointment, a failure, and mostly, weird, so weird.
Psicostasis
The opening is brutal: an exalted lollipop crackling with arcane magic, water vapor, and the crunch of lightning. This is what the Trickster Mode of Homestuck smelled like. As it moves into the heart, the fruit softens and dominates the salon atmosphere: hot water tickling your scalp and the sound of blow dryers. Ticklish, like mana running through your fingers. I thought I hated sticky musks, but this has opened my eyes. It reminds me of King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard. As it dries, it loses a bit of the magic, but that stormy humidity remains hidden among the magenta dust.

Deja Vu evokes the magical vibrancy, fashion, and 80s boom. It’s incredibly original and striking. A realistic pink fruity gum, well-balanced and completely synthetic-free. But it evolves into something more than just childish gum: first a popping raspberry gum that fades quickly to make way for iris, the dominant floral note. As it dries, it takes on an animalic leather touch without losing its fun, fruity side, reminding me of sweet, powdery violets with a slight musk. There’s a seductive, adult gum vibe lingering in the background. It’s not just gum; it’s a complex, original fusion. Could be unisex, perhaps leaning feminine, yet appealing even to a younger crowd. Perfect for cool or rainy days, or the coming warm summers. I even wear it at night 🌜. Longevity and sillage are magnificent.
