  1. Julia is a floral EDT, slightly powdery, delicate, feminine, innocent, and clean. It smells like powder or an old vanity, something many would notice. It reminds me of the scent I imagine an 18th-century English girl would wear, like Elizabeth Bennet reading under an oak tree in spring. The opening is tough: the rhubarb and currant mix feels strange, cloyingly sweet, and I never enjoyed it, plus I smell a hint of pepper even though it’s not listed. The dry-down is better: powdery, with purple flowers and a raspberry note, finishing musky and then woody. It projects softly and lasts 5-6 hours, though it sometimes becomes noticeable later if I exercise; heat suits it well. I tried it and liked it, but I wouldn’t buy it because it didn’t make me fall in love. Scent 6.5/10, Longevity 5.5/10, Sillage 4/10, Value 4/10, Versatility 7.5/10, Packaging 7.5/10. Would I buy again? No.

  2. Julia is a floral EDT, slightly powdery, delicate, feminine, and innocent. It smells like an old vanity, just as many imagine. It evokes an 18th-century English girl, like Elizabeth Bennet, reading under an oak tree in spring. The opening is tricky for me: the rhubarb and currant blend feels strange and overly sweet, which I don’t enjoy. Plus, I detect a hint of strange pepper not listed on the notes. The dry-down is better: powdery, with purple flowers and a musky base that eventually turns woody. Projection is soft, lasting 5-6 hours, though it sometimes lingers after working out. Heat brings it out, so it might work better in summer. I loved it in the sample, but it didn’t make me fall in love enough to buy. Scent 6.5/10, Longevity 5.5/10, Sillage 4/10, Value 4/10, Versatility 7.5/10, Packaging 7.5/10. Would I buy again? No.

Very floral, fresh, feminine, and pretty! Soft and light with an aromatic touch. On my skin, fresh jasmine really shines. I like it, but I already own other jasmine fragrances with better projection. 9/10.
