Where have you been all my life? Wow, I wasn’t wrong! This is the only one I’d buy without hesitation; it smells luxurious and sophisticated. The standout notes are vanilla, toffee, butter, iris, with subtle lavender and fern. Do you like sweet perfumes? This one definitely won’t leave you indifferent—it’s simply delicious and exquisite. Every time I spot it at a reasonable price (since it’s discontinued, they sell it for up to €150 or more), I grab it because it’s so hard to find anymore.

One of my latest perfume blunders. Look at those notes; they’re irresistible. If you’re a sweet tooth, read the previous review, have a hole in your hands, and it’s by Guerlain, nothing can go wrong. So, home it comes at the first opportunity. Huge mistake. I can’t say if it smells the same as Mon Guerlain, since I only tried that one when it launched, and I thought it was a letdown. I forgot about it. I don’t know what that one smells like, nor this Mon Exclusif. Maybe I have anosmia to this blend, or maybe this perfume is as exclusive as “the Emperor’s New Clothes.” At first, I get a slap of lavender. Not a fine lavender, but that cheap stuff sold by the liter that was always in my house when I was little, and I always hated that smell. Alcohol, lavender, and playdough. Yes, after a while it takes on some sweetness, meh. By the hour, I have to press my nose to feel anything. This smells like nothing. I can’t find vanilla, salt, toffee, butter, or iris. I find nothing. This has happened to me with another perfume before, like Coco Noir. Another one going on the list of ghost perfumes. Only for aromatic mediums, too exclusive for us regular women to enjoy. Next.

It’s sweet but not cloying or overwhelming; I don’t feel anything synthetic about it. It has a certain elegance, the bottle is gorgeous, and the longevity is about 6 hours.
