I was gifted this at work, though I was expecting the original. It’s totally different: no fruity or white floral notes here, just an intense sweet opening that fades into a vague, mild vanilla warmth that’s hard to notice. The bottle confirms the notes aren’t what’s listed on this page; instead: Top: Pink grapefruit and peach wine; Heart: Peony and jasmine; Base: Vanilla and musk. The frosted glass is the only thing that reminds me of the original. It seems every house is chasing that super-sweet vanilla scent, just like Lancôme’s LVEB, Armani’s Sì, Gaultier’s Scandal, Givenchy’s L’Interdit, Chanel’s Coco Mademoiselle Intense, or this Lanvin Modern Princess Sensuelle.

Cute, a real tender touch. The grapefruit and musk notes dominate, giving it a baby powder vibe… I found it very pleasant and not as sweet as the classic Modern Princess.
