I received this as a gift at work while waiting for the original. It’s totally different: no fruity or white floral notes, just an intense sweet fruity opening that fades into a diffuse vanilla warmth. The bottle confirms different notes: Pink Grapefruit and Peach Wine top, Peony and Jasmine heart, Vanilla and Musk base. The frosted glass is the only thing reminding me of the original. It seems every house is chasing their own sweet vanilla, like Lancôme’s LVEB, Armani’s Sì, Gaultier’s Scandal, Givenchy’s L’Interdit, Chanel’s Coco Mademoiselle Intense, or this Lanvin Modern Princess Sensuelle.

Cute, a real tender touch. The grapefruit and musk notes dominate, giving it a baby powder vibe… I found it very pleasant and not as sweet as the classic Modern Princess.
