I stopped by a department store and tested it on my skin. It seemed interesting at first, citrusy and fresh. But after three minutes, that particular aroma started to bother me. Honestly, I don’t dislike it entirely, but it does unsettle me (so the name fits). On my skin, I don’t feel it evolves much. I detect lemon and cranberry, a combination I don’t consider fortunate: it’s sour with a slightly bitter touch, yet sweet at the same time. I don’t sense the peony in the heart, nor the patchouli in the base. In conclusion, it’s not a fragrance I enjoy on my skin; I like fresh citrus, but this one feels sour to me. It’s hard to describe; it doesn’t smell floral to me as the classification suggests. The result is uncertainty; I don’t feel it’s sensual, warm, or fresh. There are perfumes I like and others I don’t, but this falls into an uncertain category because it’s not indifferent to me (could it be the angel and the demon?). What I am sure of is that it has good longevity.
I simply adore it. It was my first ‘expensive’ fragrance and the one that sparked my addiction. I received it as a gift, which is why I hold it in special affection. I love the top notes the most; you can smell fresh yet sweet cranberry. In the dry down, it leaves a soft, tender scent. Definitely one of my favorites for any occasion; I find it very versatile.
Absolutely gorgeous fragrance for daytime. Citrusy and fun. Moderate trail and short longevity. But I love it along with the entire Ange ou Demon collection.
Beautiful fragrance, citrusy but not sour. Fresh and still intense. It lasts a long time on my skin and the scent stays strong for hours. I really liked it, but the intensity didn’t quite convince me at first. I tried the EDT version and was pleasantly surprised. I recommend it 100% if you tried this and had the same experience.
Be careful not to end up like me—I was seriously let down. I’d tried the original Ange ou Demon Le Secret EDP and loved it so much I wanted to own it. I found it at a good price on Bodybell and ordered it. As soon as I sprayed it, I realized it wasn’t the same: it’s the 2014 edition, also an EDP, but completely different. It opens with green, harsh notes—a powerful, sour, bitter, and very artificial citrus that’s annoying and synthetic. Luckily, after about half an hour it softens up, becoming less aggressive and more pleasant, but it loses its projection and barely lasts. What a disappointment. If I’d just checked the bottle, I would’ve noticed it’s different; the 2014 edition doesn’t have the ribbon.
I love this perfume; I recommend it 100%. As its name suggests, it creates an enigmatic aura, perfect for day and night. To me, it’s fruity, citrusy, with a woody touch that makes it stand out—it’s not heavy or overwhelming, very fresh for daytime and elegant for evening. It lasts all day, though it becomes subtler toward the end. When I bought it, I was looking for something different from my usual Carolina Herrera or Perry Ellis, and I was pleasantly surprised. It seems very appealing to those around me; the first time I wore it, several friends commented on how good it smelled. My husband loves it too. It’s not traditional; you feel like you leave behind an enigmatic fragrance.
I owned the 2009 version. A friend wore it, and I couldn’t resist asking about her perfume. She told me which one it was, and I bought it immediately. I used it a lot, then moved on to other scents, but in 2019 I decided to try again—only the 2014 version was available. It smells the same, though not as woody as the 2009 one, yet they’re almost similar. I’ve worn it for 9 hours and can still smell it. It was a gift from my husband, and he adored it. No one has commented on it at work or in the car, but I notice people turn to look when they pass my trail. I feel like I don’t go unnoticed; it’s a different, incredibly rich perfume.
One of my favorites; you smell it and it’s unmistakable. I detect roses and water lily. The trail is quite long-lasting, and I absolutely love it.
Good morning, afternoon, or night, depending on when you read this. I’ll keep it brief: it’s my favorite fragrance, my everyday perfume. People notice me by this scent. I simply love it.
Highly recommended. I usually avoid buying 100ml bottles because they overwhelm me, but this one hasn’t worn me out. It’s a shame they reformulated it; the original version was much better. Still, it’s exquisite. That lime blends perfectly with the sweetness—it’s fantastic. I get tons of compliments; I always wear it in summer for the freshness. One more thing: the original was richer and lasted longer. The 2014 version is more volatile and doesn’t last as much, but I still love it. Greetings from Mendoza, Argentina ♥
It’s delicious, perfect for summer. Fresh, jovial, youthful, but on my skin it doesn’t last more than two hours.
One word: delicious. Generally, the brand doesn’t disappoint me. I love its sillage and longevity, but I’m not sure if the Croisière version (with frost) is discontinued; I still have a bit in the bottle and I love it madly. It’s in my top 3 favorites.
A chronicle of going from hate to love with a single thermometer tap. I received it in winter and was disappointed when I tried it. I didn’t like it and felt I had searched long and paid a lot to perceive basically just green tea. However, thanks to recommendations from Facebook groups, I decided to keep it until summer instead of exchanging it. How grateful I am! Indeed, it’s green tea beautifully surrounded by lemon and red fruits (which didn’t come out in the cold). It feels elegant, refreshing, perfect for summer. Although I think it’s more for daytime, it also works for an informal night out. Its sillage is soft-moderate, so I apply it generously and it lasts about 7 hours. Although I won’t buy a refill, I would repurchase if I find it. Scent 8/10, Longevity 7.5/10, Sillage 6.5/10, Value 6.5/10, Versatility 5/10, Packaging 7.5/10. Would I buy again? Yes.
In my opinion, it smells rich and citrusy, but on my skin, it doesn’t last at all. I bought it on a whim and today I could gift it or swap it for something else for the coming seasons (spring, summer). I have it on my left hand, and on the right, I have ‘Color Drops’ by Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, and they seem very similar… maybe not a dupe, but very similar so far.
It’s delicious; on my skin, I feel it’s super elegant but for daytime. I don’t recommend it for night. I perceive it with super creamy red berries; I love it, too bad they reformulated it.
A very rich fragrance, a floral version of the original with great longevity.
A beautiful, elegant, and tender perfume. It’s a citrus peony that I love. Perfect for spring and summer. On my skin, it has a soft resemblance to Sisley’s Izia, though it doesn’t reach that one’s longevity. Straight into my basket.
Daytime perfume with lots of lemon and tea. A delight. The Elixir dry-down is very similar, but this is fresher due to the lemon, very stimulating, clean, elegant, and zen. Excellent longevity and projection in this EDP. More for spring-summer daytime, positive. It’s not a cologne; it’s a great perfume. I adore the tea scent.
I re-recommend it: it’s like lemon tea with soft fruits and fresh flowers. Ideal if you want a citrus scent that isn’t cloying, an elegant floral, or a refined fruity note. If you love that astringent, stimulating touch of tea, it’s your thing. It lasts and projects well; it’s daytime, but why not for a summer night? A delight, smells super natural and high quality. Givenchy doesn’t disappoint.
Smells amazing, citrusy and fresh, but on my skin it evaporates instantly. No sillage, just clings to the skin. For the price and performance, I don’t recommend it; I won’t be buying it again. I loved the Elixir, which got me so many compliments, so I jumped in blindly with this flanker and it wasn’t what I expected.
A profound disappointment. The scent is exquisite, moving away from heavy gourmands… but its longevity is a 10. It doesn’t last at all. It lasts longer on me than Johnsons Baby cologne on my baby. Total disappointment. For the price I paid, it makes me furious.
I really like this perfume and have received good compliments. On my skin, it smells like fermented grapes, sweet but not cloying, and it also lasts quite a while.
One of my favorite fragrances for the heat: it’s sweet but not cloying; on the contrary, it’s very fresh, like black tea with blueberries. Since I found it, I’m looking for more perfumes that give me that rich iced tea aroma ♡
It could be good, but it has a horrible synthetic pomade note that ruins everything. The tea and blueberry notes are enjoyed a lot, with some background rose, but I think the problem is that plastic pomade and the aquatic lotus note that accentuate the cheap perfume smell. I love the original and hoped for a more spring-like version, but it was a huge disappointment.
I love this fragrance: it’s unique, fresh, enigmatic, and elegant. It feels very special, distinct, a sweet freshness that is sophisticated. It’s ideal for daytime, though I wish it lasted longer. But I keep buying it because its longevity is regular to good. I consider it a must-have!! ❤️
This perfume is special because it was a gift. It smells delicious, floral, like a bouquet of neroli with a sweet touch that fits perfectly with my gourmand style. Fresh and elegant for summer, with tremendous longevity; it’s the one that lasts the longest in my entire collection. Simply beautiful.
My husband insists it never be out of the house. That tea and blueberry blend is exquisite, attractive, and fresh. I don’t wear it for formal events, but for everything else and all year round.
It’s a staple in my collection; you never get tired of it. When it runs out, I’ll buy it again because it’s perfect: a unique, fresh, and one-of-a-kind essence. I adore it 💜 and it lasts about 2 to 3 hours.
It smells like a mix of Elizabeth Arden Green Tea, Dior Addict Eau Delice, Arden Beauty, a touch of Gucci Bamboo, some Flora, and those citrus notes that are always abundant. It’s that soft cleanliness, relaxing freshness, and bold elegance; exquisite, yes. I absolutely love it. Here, the tea and blueberries with their citrus notes create a powerful rose that blends with a shy peony that barely shows up, all over a soft, musky vanilla. Truly, it’s beautiful.
Finally arrived today after wanting it for so long, along with her brother Ange ou Demon. My first impressions: I initially thought I’d be disappointed, but seconds later, I noticed an incredible citrus blend. On my skin, the first 10 minutes shine with a super feminine grapefruit paired with beautiful, non-soapy jasmine. Then comes the tea, sweet yet fresh—probably blueberries—and the jasmine lingers, creating a very original combination that has nothing to do with my other perfumes. It’s sparkling and very long-lasting; it’s worth it. Every penny is worth it; in mild weather, I wear it in autumn/winter afternoons, but it works all year round. It’s perfect as a signature scent, with such a peculiar aroma that it gets stuck in your mind. I absolutely love it, even though I’m more of a Moschino Toy 2 person; this is also gorgeous. Ultra-feminine, beautiful, and memorable.
It’s one of those perfumes I can detect throughout the day and make me feel lovely, feminine, put-together, a total ‘coquette’ as they say these days. I love it! It’s one of those I plan to repurchase when it runs out.
It’s summer here and I enjoy it so much. I love that tea, citrus, and jasmine aroma. It lasts between 8 and 10 hours, which doesn’t usually last long on me. Givenchy quality. It’s one of those perfumes where, even if I have many, when it runs out, I’ll definitely repurchase. Beautiful, elegant, fresh, distinct. A hit for any summer event or just to feel fresh and elegant.
I don’t know what I like so much about this perfume. It’s the sparkling finish. I don’t know which note it is, but it seems like pepper in aroma; it has a kick. There’s no other similarity. That finish is unique.
It’s my signature scent, the one I’ll never be without; I’ve been using it since it launched and nothing will dethrone it 🥰. Recently I bought Moschino Funny and they remind me of each other! For me, Ange ou Demon is tea-lime-jasmine and Funny is tea-orange-jasmine; they share notes and as they dry down, they become more and more similar. Try it and it will clear up my doubts!
Years ago, I smelled a decant of this perfume in a store, I assume the previous version (which I couldn’t buy), and I thought it was exquisite. I just bought the 2014 version and I liked it a lot, although I notice a similarity with Still by JLo (due to the tea). It’s potent, citrusy, elegant, fresh, and super addictive; I think it will be one of my favorites. The price is high and I still don’t know the sillage, but the longevity is decent for an EDP (about 8 hours and then skin scent).
Delicious, elegant, and fresh, totally different from Ange ou Demon in the dark bottle. I love it, but the longevity doesn’t work for me. I hydrate before applying it and can’t even detect it. It almost becomes one of my favorites, but that longevity detail leaves me a bit disappointed. They say fragrances mellow and become more lasting over time, I hope so because it’s exquisite.
Rich, fresh, and soft. Maybe the name of this flanker is well-placed: ‘secrets’ and pure personal enjoyment. It flatters the original a lot, but it’s obvious they have nothing to do with each other. I don’t think I’ll buy it, though it’s a great option for those who love soft scents; it’s rich, for sure.
Unconditional love. In the heat, it wraps me in a fresh, luminous aroma. It reveals a soft blend of citrus and florals, especially jasmine and peony. Very feminine and unmistakable. Every time I wear it, I close my eyes, smile, and think: ‘Thank you, thank you, thank you for this perfume!!!’
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT! Irresistibly chic. It’s been my signature scent for spring and summer for 4 years. I finish a bottle and start another (I always have a backup). On my skin, it’s orange, grapefruit, and blueberries at full blast, fused with jasmine, rose, and peony, blended with musk, woods, and a touch of vanilla. Good longevity and an incredible sillage. In one word: luminous ❤️
Not rich at all! Fresh and soft. Since I usually wear heavy fragrances, this is my perfect alternative for hot days: rich, fresh, and elegant.
