It’s a sweet perfume where neroli and fruits dominate, similar to Interdit with a My Way vibe, but with much better power. It has a huge trail and presence, ideal for lovers of these perfumes. The vanilla is barely noticeable; the white flowers and musk stand out more. It’s not for teenagers, but for a woman with personality. I have to say, after smelling it so much, I can’t stand it; there are scents that just don’t work for me, and this is one. I was excited to buy it because of the hype, but now it feels overwhelming and even makes me dizzy. It’s a shame to know so many people love it.
Everyone talks about this perfume and I was scared of the neroli. People compare it to My Way, but it doesn’t suit me. I started thinking it’s a sweeter version of L’Interdit (which I haven’t tried). I bought it for my mom because she loves white flowers. It’s powerful, fresh, with natural notes, airy, and enveloping. The first 10 seconds are Armani My Way, but then you shut your mouth: potent sticky neroli, caramel and vanilla sweetness. The aldehydes add elegance without overdoing it, with yellow and white flowers and roses that reinforce that clean freshness with musk and vanilla. I sense an iris note like makeup, and at 30 minutes, the ylang-ylang appears. Nothing unpleasant; I overcame my fear of neroli. Now I want to try L’Interdit and buy Fakhar. They’re not exaggerating: it has decades of elegance with flowers, musk, and wood, updated with vanilla. It’s like a Van Cleef & Arpels First refreshed with My Way and sweetened with Mancera or Mon Guerlain. Nice bottle and perfect gift box for a ridiculous price. Lasts well for the first few hours, then fades, but with several sprays on clothes it holds up. I got it for $20, prices vary, but it’s not expensive. Recommended if you like bold florals. I’m going for it.
Since L’Interdit came out in 2018, I’ve bought all the versions because I liked the original and I recognize the scent in others. Looking for something similar to L’Interdit, I picked this up. Two things: it doesn’t resemble L’Interdit or My Way at all. It’s an artificial scent smelling only of citrus and nothing else. I don’t recommend buying it blind. It’s not pleasant, and I think they’re claiming a composition that isn’t even in the bottle.
Surprising and luxurious packaging, heavy and ornate bottle, cap that seals well. It bursts out with a strong hit of flowers and fruits, very sweet like plum and grape gummies (like moritas or gelatin powder). That powerful scent dissipates in 10 minutes. It doesn’t smell natural, but not like rotten fruit or synthetic air freshener either; it smells like juicy plum, making you salivate. Then the impact fades and I smell hyacinths, honeysuckle, roses (neither red nor white), and peonies. Up close, I think there’s honey and honey caramel, maybe tangerine or blood orange peel. It’s sweet, youthful, and elegant, powerful but not overwhelming. It’s quite similar to L’Interdit and My Way (about 70%), but with more power and projection. It’s feminine and has personality. I’ve worn it for 6 hours and it’s still detectable at 30 cm: mature honey, caramel, rose, gardenias, and maybe vanilla.
Smells like white flowers (mostly neroli, like grape bubblegum) and clean laundry. Has a light smoky touch. It smells elegant; while it’s intense at first, it works for daily wear. Dries down sticky on the skin and clothes. It’s addictive and really delicious.
A delicious opening that I thought was L’Interdit Rouge, but I was wrong. Then comes the grape caramel, and it’s more like the original. Later, the florals kick in and become an overpowering floral that gave me a headache. Holy cow, what a big floral, but without the elegance of the Rouge. The drydown didn’t work for me: it’s loud, insecticidal, and not elegant, though cheerful. I’d wear this as Erin Brockovich or Kate Perry in Italy. I’ll let it macerate because Middle Eastern perfumes change a lot with that process.
I’m not sure if it’s a dupe for L’Interdit since I don’t own it, but it definitely smells of white flowers, especially neroli with a bubblegum vibe. It’s versatile for any season and occasion. Projection is moderate and lasts about 8 hours. Better to wear it on clothes to make it last longer.
I tried it yesterday and was blown away by the quality. At first, it smells like YSL Libre ETD and Mugler Alien (less potent, maybe due to the jasmine). As it dries down, it becomes powdery and talcum-like, but for the price, it smells exceptional. Buy blind, you won’t regret it.
Very good dupe, but the longevity is minimal on my skin. I’ll use it up this summer until it’s gone, but I wouldn’t buy it again.
I love this perfume; it’s already my second bottle. Very sparkling with an intense, sticky neroli scent. It puts me in a good mood and has something truly addictive. I’ve read somewhere that it smells like ‘old lady’… I’m 42, am I old? I guess I must be… The longevity is quite good; I wear it from morning to go to work, and it lasts all day without issues. I prefer it in spring and autumn; for summer, it seems too potent, but I really think it could be worn any time of year, that’s just a matter of taste. For me, it’s definitely a 10/10.
Total letdown. It smells flat and doesn’t last at all; I don’t get the hype. It feels like something you’d buy in a gallon at the grocery store. The bottle, however, is pretty.
Here’s my review of this perfume I bought blind to gift to my wife, and it wasn’t what we expected: we didn’t like it at all. It’s a simple, linear fragrance with an overwhelming white floral scent. If you love white florals, it’s your perfume; if not, don’t even bother buying it. When it dries down, there’s a hint of talcum-powdered roses, and it doesn’t seem very youthful to me.
I’ve been watching this perfume for three years but never paid it any attention. It’s great for the price. It’s a hybrid between Interdit and My Way, though for me, the Lattafa version is a bit more vanilla-forward. It’s fantastic.
I don’t understand why they call it a dupe of L’Interdit. On my skin, it smells horrible, soapy like laundry detergent. I wouldn’t buy it or recommend it. And the bottle is terrible! Cheap, coarse, and shiny plastic.
This is the Arabic fragrance I see most on social media, and I don’t know why it doesn’t work for me. I bought several others before and should have stuck with them. I can’t think of a better description than what’s below: it smells like super-concentrated laundry detergent. Does it smell bad? No, but it doesn’t seem elegant, feminine, or divine (as they tried to sell it). Smelling like unwashed laundry isn’t for me. I’ve been disappointed by Arabic fragrances and their undeserved hype before, but this is among the worst. If you like soapy scents, go for it; otherwise, save your money and buy another exquisite fragrance for the same price.
I was eagerly awaiting this, and as expected, I love it. I bought it blind, like all my Arabic fragrances, and it was another hit. Lattafa doesn’t disappoint, at least not for me. Reading the notes made it a safe buy, and the price was a steal. The packaging is luxurious, just like the whole collection. The opening was potent and slightly spicy, then the florals took over: jasmine, gardenia, and neroli are what I smell the most. It’s fresh, sweet, and elegant. It smells very similar to Interdit. I wore it last night and it’s still strong on my skin and clothes this morning. It’s not cloying, refined, high-quality, nothing artificial, and very powerful. It lasts forever without needing reapplication. I’ll let it macerate for a few days and then share its evolution. It’s currently my favorite Arabic fragrance in my collection.
I tried it because of the hype, and it smells horrifically like a cemetery flower. It’s the worst thing I’ve ever tried: invasive, overpowering, and it gave me a headache. It took me forever to get it off my clothes.
Although I usually go for gourmand scents, this caught me by surprise. It’s my first Arabic fragrance and I absolutely loved it. I detect strong white florals and it lasts forever on skin and clothes. It’s spectacular for anyone looking for something bold and commanding.
I agree with some of the reviews: it smells like a cemetery flower. An aroma for older women. I just can’t handle it, I’m sorry.
I’ve been seeing this perfume on the market for years and finally tried it. It caught me off guard: the longevity and projection are brutal, something that rarely happens with me. The opening is sweet yet fresh, and I’m still catching whiffs hours later. The sandalwood base is delicious, clean, and elegant. I’ve never tried L’Interdit, but on its own, this is a masterpiece. Now I understand the madness behind its launch. I’m adding it to my collection!
Definitely doesn’t suit my skin, it’s strong and doesn’t change. It smells like a strong detergent or air freshener. It’s not a feminine nor masculine fragrance.
I was really excited to try it because of reviews saying it was an elegant fragrance that smelled like expensive perfume and who knows what else, and since all Lattafa perfumes have a very nice presentation, honestly… but for me it just smells like a car air freshener.
I understand people say it smells like Interdit because it’s the same type of neroli, but it’s not as powerful as the original. Then it turns into a soapy neroli, but on me it has little longevity. It opens strong but then fades and leaves a soapy touch close to the skin. I don’t know if I’d buy it again, not because of the scent but because of its weak projection on me.
Very well executed dupe. Neroli, vanilla, sandalwood. Sexy, feminine, and sophisticated.
It’s a well-executed blend between L’Interdit EDP and EDT. Having this means you don’t need the originals. Always worn on clothes, it performs better in longevity and scent because it doesn’t change with pH. It’s for all year round if you love neroli.
It smells nice, but in certain occasions it gave me a slight migraine when I smelled it on myself. It’s very similar to My Way, doesn’t last long in the heat, and I don’t feel much projection. I wouldn’t buy it again even though it’s nice and rich smelling to others, since I did receive some compliments.
It’s a very sweet floral, almost with a bubblegum scent. I was surprised that it seemed very powerful at first, but it doesn’t have much longevity. It seemed somewhat similar to Una Blush, but without the ginger.
I really love its scent; I’m not a floral fan at all, but I like this one quite a bit. I’d say it’s more for a woman between 26 and 34, although I wear it at 20 because I like the sweetness it has. I give it an 8/10.
Hi! I’m Samira and let me tell you, I love getting attention. Fakhar Women is the L’Interdit clone by Givenchy that you need, but at a price that’s a thousand times better. It’s a super elegant and powerful floral bomb: starts with a vibrant mix of fruits and gardenias that quickly turns into a creamy, addictive heart of neroli and jasmine. I love it for going out dancing in Santa Fe at night, because I swear it lasts more than 8 hours and the trail is the kind that turns heads. For me it’s a blind buy, but if you don’t want to take the risk, you can get a decant at my favorite store.
Fakar Rose has gotten me more compliments this year than any other perfume, even designer brands. It reminds me of L’Interdit but isn’t the same: here there’s a grape note that adds sweetness, whereas the original is more woody. Ideal for cold climates and women 30 and up. At first it feels synthetic, then it becomes a pleasant, feminine scent. I bought it blind and it didn’t fail, although at first it didn’t convince me until the compliments made me love it. It lasts long, projects well, and lingers on clothes. With how poor perfumes are these days, when I find one like this without a doubt. I’m halfway through and would definitely buy it again for the price and quality.
Here’s the thing: I think this fragrance is one of the few dupes that really delivers the full impact of the original, talking about the original L’Interdict by Givenchy. It has great longevity and projection; wherever you go, you’ll leave a trail. It’s sweet, fruity, and floral; I feel the notes that stand out most are: jasmine, lily of the valley, ylang-ylang, rose, fruity notes, and vanilla. I recommend wearing it day or night in spring and summer.
Two words: fresh and elegant. I love it.
I wanted to give a floral perfume a chance, and definitely, it’s not my style. It’s not a bad perfume; the flowers are very well integrated. On me, I barely noticed the fruity part, just flowers and more flowers. At one point, I felt overwhelmed and even got a headache. I decided to gift it to my mother; it has the same vibe as Lattafa’s Emaan but is a bit more powdery. My take: Projection 10/10, Sillage 9/10, Longevity 10/10. I washed the area where I applied it and still smelled it. Duration: at least 6 hours; I couldn’t verify it 100% because I washed my arm to tone it down—I just couldn’t handle it. If you like perfumes like My Way, Emaan, or Red Door, this is the one for you.
If you’re a fan of L’Interdict, this Lattafa version is way better in price, scent, and longevity. It’s incredible that for the price it smells better and lasts much longer than the Givenchy perfume.
I bought it because of its strong resemblance to L’Interdict, but in the end, I think it’s worth it only if you’re looking for that specific vibe; the original is better. I know this is a low price, but the original’s top notes and projection don’t compare to this perfume. Sure, the price is comfortable and it has a similar vibe, but if you’re comparing it solely based on how much it resembles a designer inspiration, I wouldn’t go that route. I think you just need to like this perfume and stop comparing it to the designer version.
I was surprised by this fragrance. When I first bought it, I didn’t like it at all, but after a few weeks, it smells great and has excellent longevity.
A true Lattafa classic that we truly fell in love with. Excellent perfume.
I was surprised by this one; it wasn’t on my shopping list, but I bought it on a whim. It’s indescribable—a perfect blend of fruity and white floral, sweet and fun. I loved it. I used to have L’Interdict, but they don’t compare; this scent surpasses it by far. In my opinion, it’s richer.
Perfect for everyday wear.
I fell for the trap of Arabic perfumes: I trusted the hype that they’re powerful and last all day. I bought this and the Fackar Extrait (listed as unisex everywhere, but here it’s marketed for men; I already reviewed that one separately). I’m talking about FACKAR ROSE (called Fackar Woman on many sites and the Lattafa website): it smells like a nice, linear flower with no surprises. The opening is strong and makes you think it will last at least 6 hours with a trail… wrong. The intensity lasts only 5 minutes, then fades and keeps fading; by an hour, it’s barely skin scent. The box and bottle are gorgeous, though the bottle feels a bit kitsch. I’m going back to European perfumes, and if they don’t cut it, I’ll try the Argentine national brands, which are excellent.
