I bought it right when it arrived this winter. Even though it’s an eau de toilette, it lasts about 8 hours. It’s rare; it has masculine, androgynous, and feminine touches all at once. Spicy and fresh; you can smell the black tea at the start, then the leather delivers a delicious musk. You can really feel the quality of the raw materials. It’s distinct, captivating, harmonious, and full of attitude. Whoever wears it projects sincerity and good taste.
Rose, Almond, Leather: the three most relevant notes of the perfume, ranked from highest to lowest in terms of intensity. This version lacks the patchouli and woods that made its predecessor so narcotic and dark. This version is a more relaxed ‘rose,’ but without losing character and mystery. A sweet almond note that doesn’t reach cloying levels, flirting with a soft but very present leather. Perhaps for many people this version is still strong, but for me, anyone who liked the idea of the first Black Perfecto but found it too scandalous should give this version a chance. This new offering is interesting, especially considering what’s in the mass market, though personally I think Guerlain should already move on from the ‘La Petite Robe Noire’ series and focus on something else.
It’s the Petite Robe Noir but with a much stronger trail. I don’t know how Guerlain blended the previous notes with leather without losing the original aromas. Phenomenal for this autumn-winter season, highly recommended.
Black Perfecto Florale is one of my favorite fragrances. It starts with a wonderful rose blending with the sweetness of almonds and leather. This narcotic combination is very sophisticated; it doesn’t resemble anything known, it’s unique. I don’t know why they categorized it in the Le Petit Robe saga; in my opinion, it’s totally different from the colorful dresses. It’s perfect, distinguished, extraordinary, like a moonless night in a rose garden where you faintly perceive a sweet praline in the distance.
This is amazing! The ecclesiastical shapes of the bottle contrast surprisingly well with the printed graphic, playing on the concept of perfect black. I liked it more than its older brother (I didn’t sense the licorice here), and the opening is extraordinary, like a reinterpretation of Declaration d’un Soir. When it dries down, it’s practically Black Perfecto thanks to those acidic cherries. The pyramid promises beauty with eyes closed and delivers. In terms of performance, it doesn’t deviate from the formula: an explosive opening that turns into a low sillage, clearly perceptible close to the skin. With rumors that it’s being discontinued, they have it at an excellent price, a steal.

This is awesome! The ecclesiastical shapes of the bottle contrast strangely effectively with the printed graphic, playing very well with the concept of ‘Perfect Black.’ I liked it much more than its older sibling (since in this flanker I didn’t feel the licorice), and the opening is extraordinary, like a reinterpretation of Declaration d’Un Soir. Once dried, it’s practically Black Perfecto straight up because of that acidic cherry (under my nose, very similar to Dior Addict Eau Delice). Its note pyramid is a composition that promised beauty with eyes closed and delivers. As for performance, it doesn’t leave the formula: explosive opening to become low sillage, clearly perceptible close to the skin. And since there are rumors it’s being discontinued, you can get it at an excellent price in perfumeries, a steal.
I love this perfume; it’s my favorite within the Little Robes line, and I like almost all of them. Autumn and spring are the seasons where it shines. It has, though not declared in its notes, cherries and licorice; the base is unmistakable, but the roses take the lead and have that powdery touch that categorizes it as a Guerlain in an unmistakable way. I also like the Black Perfecto EDP, but this one has won my heart more.
For an EDT, it’s quite strong and long-lasting. On my skin, it smells similar to the classic; it seems to have licorice, it smells like it but isn’t. The rose is very present and natural, but it activates with heat. There’s a hint of green almond, a bit of green tea. It has the DNA of the Petite Noirs… it’s a winter scent, intense, with high sillage, sweet, and feels like an EDP. If you like the Petite Robe Noire line, it’s a safe purchase.
I own both, this one and Black Perfecto. This one highlights the rose, but not that heavy, musky rose; instead, it’s sweet, fresh, and sparkling. The undeclared cherry is the main support that makes these roses special; the leather acts as a soft custodian. At some point, it smells like a liqueur, like a rose and cherry liqueur. It’s bright, sweet, and luminous, a scent that makes you feel happy. When I wear it, my 13-year-old son says, ‘You put on that perfume,’ and comes closer to smell it.

I still have the bag from the perfumerie where I bought it, and I can still smell the leather and roses on it. I love it, and I’m a man. Greetings from Argentina.

The dominant note is rose, with almond and a touch of leather also standing out. It’s very similar to another in the Petite Robe Noire line, the green one (Ma Robe Pétales). I’d say very similar. It has moderate sillage. It arrived today, so I’m still testing the longevity.
Without a doubt, this is my favorite from the LPRN line. I liked the original but it didn’t win me over; Black Perfecto seemed attractive but too heavy on the skin. When I found this EDT deal, I read the reviews and nailed it. It’s a friendlier version where you can still feel the original DNA, even though cherry and licorice aren’t listed. To me, it smells like cherry, leather, roses, and almond; the licorice is subtle but there. It’s creamy and blended; you don’t know where one note ends and another begins, though you occasionally catch a specific scent clearly. When it dries down, it reminds me a lot of the EDP original. It will shine in autumn and spring, but it’s also wearable in cool summer days or winter. It’s versatile and I’m thrilled. Moderate-to-high trail and 9 hours of longevity, which is amazing for an EDT. I love the black, opaque bottle; it has a rocker aesthetic with classic design, studded cap, and the bee-and-rose emblem. Guerlain’s formula quality is undisputed. Scent 8.5/10, Longevity 8.5/10, Sillage 8.5/10, Value 8.5/10, Versatility 9/10, Packaging 10/10. Would I buy it again? Yes.
Without a doubt, my favorite in the LPRN line. I always liked the original but never fell in love with it; Black Perfecto seemed attractive but felt heavy and hard to understand on my skin. When I found this EDT deal and read the reviews, I hit the jackpot. It’s a friendlier version of Black Perfecto with the same DNA, even though cherry and licorice aren’t listed. To me, it smells of cherry, leather, roses, and almond; the licorice is very subtle but there. It’s creamy and wonderfully blended, with notes blending seamlessly, though occasionally a clear burst emerges. The dry-down closely resembles the original EDP. It shines in autumn and spring, but also works in summer if it’s not too hot, on cool nights, and even in winter. Very versatile and I’m thrilled. Moderate-to-high sillage and 9-hour longevity on skin, excellent for an EDT. The black opaque bottle is gorgeous, with a rocker aesthetic, classic design, studded cap, and the rose with the bee. I love it. Guerlain’s formula quality is indisputable. Scent 8.5/10, Longevity 8.5/10, Sillage 8.5/10, Value 8.5/10, Versatility 9/10, Packaging 10/10. Would I buy it again? Yes.
Bought it blindly based on reviews and price. Expected something more voluptuous given the ingredients, but it smells like a pleasant hair product. It has a sweet and acidic evolution, vaguely rose-like, reminiscent of a soft raspberry caramel. Doesn’t feel very adult to me, though the dry-down is interesting: a blackberry gummy scent, somewhat alluring but childish.
I gave it many chances, but it just doesn’t work with my pH.
Totally agree with Taurien.
Of all the black dresses, Black Perfecto is the most sophisticated; this floral EDT is very feminine, bold, and elegant. Many intense, warm, juicy, and candied roses, far from acidic, distant, powdery, or boring ones. The black musk and leather give it strength and determination to a modern dynamic. It has a surprising balance and is very attractive. I have no regrets about the purchase; it’s very enjoyable and lasts well. It has strong character, significant body, and a defined, direct projection. Spectacular!
The start is a bit murky, but as it dries, it blooms: roses and leather in a strong musk like White Musk. The drier it gets, the more sophisticated it becomes, revealing the tea and almond with a touch of acidic red fruit (for me, just acidity, no plum or other fruit). Fragrances calls it amber floral, but I don’t smell amber. I see it as fresh, dark, and spring-like, with body and a soft anise touch. What stands out most is the rose, the leather, and the almond (and almost the tea if you recognize it). It reminds me of Valentino Rock & Rose Couture, or like if Narciso’s Fleur Musk had red fruit acidity and the complexity of leather. I imagine a dark, mysterious rose garden. At first, it’s banal, but as it dries, it becomes complete, complex, and coquettish. On the trail, it reminds me of Juliette Has A Gun, but happier and sweeter. At first, I thought it was outdated and got scared, but once it dries completely, it’s beautiful: smooth roses, delicious almonds, and that sweet acidity (I even thought it was vanilla). A youthful and complex aura. Anecdote: once I wore a garment with the perfume in my bag, and every time I opened it, men would turn around. I think this scent could turn my park walk into a red carpet stroll.
I love it, although LPRN’s Black Perfecto still tastes better to me. This one smells spicier and floral at first, but then they even out. I enjoy it a lot, though I notice it more the next day than half an hour after applying it. I don’t find it sensual or attractive, but rather childlike, so I wear it during the day for myself.
It starts with a powerful, enveloping rose that softens on my skin after about thirty minutes, where the almond appears to balance the florals with warmth. Then the leather emerges, leaving a rich, sophisticated base that lingers. It’s a unique transition from exuberant florals to a velvety touch, a complex fragrance. I’m worried it’s gone off the official website; do you want to discontinue it? It would be a shame; they’re almost legendary despite being from 2017 and 2018.
My heart breaks knowing it will stop being made and that the few remaining bottles will disappear until it’s just a memory. It’s a gem distinct from the gourmand market: rose, cherry, and leather mixed exquisitely for a mysterious, dark, and elegant scent. The balance is mind-blowing; nothing dominates, everything blends perfectly. Upon drying, I notice a hint of honey, perhaps from the leather and black tea. The EDP has less cherry but more floral intensity at first, then they equalize. Two incredible gems I’ll miss dearly if they don’t return.
It hurts that I didn’t try it sooner. I arrived two years ago thinking it was dispensable based on what I saw on Facebook, but I was wrong to grab it from an obscure online store with only the last stock left. I’m a fan of EDPs, but here the rose is the absolute queen: chic, candied, bathed in tart cherry and exquisite leather, nothing like Lancôme’s. It’s addictive and full of personality. Although it’s 80% like its older sibling, its rose is a bombshell worthy of the gods. Excellent projection and longevity, 10/10; I hope it returns soon. 🙏
The rose smells great—sweet but balanced—and you can definitely detect the cherry and almond notes. It’s a bit weak on projection and longevity, but I got it at an accessible price, so I have no complaints.
I sold it because I couldn’t afford to spend much and it wasn’t my favorite back then, but I miss it now. The leather made me let go, but I’m missing that cherry note. When I opened my bag for the first time with it, I didn’t notice it immediately, but the trail hit me: it was a delicious, sweet cherry—not cologne-like, but realistic with an almond undertone. I imagined everyone asking, ‘Did you smell that?’ I felt surprised, maybe too young to know I shouldn’t have let it go, but it will come back someday. It was a hybrid between a body product and a gourmand, with a beautiful trail free of that cloying leather I sensed up close. I’d love something like this with the leather note cut in half.
