Descripción
Kenzo's Jeu d'Amour is a fruity floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2014, this composition was created by Daphné Bugey and Christophe Raynaud. The top notes unfold the freshness of pomegranate, red mandarin, and tea; the heart reveals the delicacy of neroli and freesia; while the base notes add warmth with sandalwood and musk.

I thought it smelled great and had good longevity, though I feel it smells similar to another perfume, I’m not sure which one. It’s very feminine. I’d buy it anyway.
I love this fragrance and it’s my lucky perfume. Every time I wore it to an exam, I did well! haha. On my skin it lasts moderately, but if I spray it on my hair, it lasts over 24 hours. My mother says it lasts even longer on her. From the start, I notice the flowers, especially freesia. It’s exquisite, super fresh, and very feminine. It doesn’t smell like soap or sugar.
Yesterday I tested this mischievous ‘love game’ with high hopes. The scent is intoxicating: the fruits bring an almost nocturnal, erotic joy at the start. Then come the neroli and musk, adding a touch of melancholy; the balance is good. My only gripe: the longevity is precarious, fading until it leaves a citrus trail. I expected something hotter after seeing such suggestive ads, but I’ll buy it anyway.
This fragrance is my lucky charm: every time I wore it for an exam, I did well. On my skin it lasts moderately, but if I spray it on my hair, it lasts over 24 hours. My mother says it lasts even longer on her. From the start, I notice the flowers, especially freesia. It’s exquisite, super fresh, and very feminine, without being cloying or gross.
The families here don’t quite add up: this is floral-gourmand, not floral-fruity. It’s creamy, with sandalwood from the start and a touch of sweet, woody custard. I don’t detect neroli or pomegranate; it’s super romantic, warm, and gourmand. Perfect for evening or night. It has a slight echo of Amour but stands out for its own style. It’s exquisite and already one of my favorites among sweet fragrances.
My new favorite perfume. It’s sweet without being cloying. Seductive and elegant all at once. Very long-lasting on my skin; I can still detect the base notes for over 12 hours, especially the sandalwood, which I adore. It feels very personal and sophisticated. It’s pleasant for everyone around me; it always gets a reaction when I wear it. A true gem from Kenzo.
My first encounter with Jeu d’Amour was good, even a bit surprising. I walked into a perfumery with no intention of buying anything, went to the Kenzo stand, and amidst all the options, I picked this one and sprayed it on a tester strip. After wandering around a bit, as soon as I brought it close to my nose, my brain made the connection: it smells similar to Jean Paul Gaultier’s Classique Intense; they both feature pomegranate. After a few hours, it becomes sweeter and less acidic, and that’s when the freesia notes emerge, which I absolutely love and which remind me of a Victoria’s Secret splash. Overall, I really liked it, and it’s straight to my wishlist.
I bought this yesterday; I’d been planning to for a while, but other olfactory temptations got in my way. Kenzo Jeu d’Amour is a very natural fragrance, which is always a plus with this brand: it lacks that unpleasant synthetic trail many fashion scents leave behind. It’s slightly sweet, with woods appearing subtly, delicate fruity notes, and florals taking the lead. It’s a sophisticated, youthful, all-occasion floral-gourmand scent that works just as well for daily wear as for special events. The delicacy of tea, pomegranate, and tangerine adds tenderness, but neroli and freesia are the undisputed stars. A very subtle sandalwood and musk appear in the dry down. It’s sexy and fresh—a great option for me, a lover of red lipstick and card games. Subtle trail, medium longevity. Recommended for any age. Plus, the ad is great, and the models are incredibly seductive.
I started looking for Kenzo Amour after leaving Jeu d’Amour, but this smells like something else. At first, it didn’t hit me, but now I’m hooked. I’d define it as sophisticated and natural, unpretentious yet classy. It’s really provocative!
I originally went for Kenzo Amour until I ended up with Jeu d’Amour instead. It’s a completely different scent from what I’ve used before. It didn’t excite me at first, but now I absolutely love it. My best description is sophisticated yet natural. Unpretentious but full of class. Really provocative!
Well… for my nose, the fruity notes really stood out, although unfortunately I didn’t detect pomegranate or tangerine as the pyramid says, but rather a fruit cocktail turning into an acidic mango with a hint of freesia-vanilla syrup. Ummmmm… I found it pleasant and very cheerful; feminine… coquettish? playful? ummmm, yes… but the thing is, as soon as I applied Coco Noir by Chanel, I forgot about this fragrance in a heartbeat. As they say, comparisons are odious… By the way, on my skin, it didn’t last very long either.
I got this as a Mother’s Day gift for my mom. We’d met before through a sample and instantly fell in love with it. To me, it’s sensual, youthful, and elegant all at once. It suits my mom’s skin perfectly; the trail she leaves is like an exquisite aura. When she wears it, she looks like she’s ‘dressed to kill’… haha! At least that’s how she feels around people. I love it! And, as she told me, it doesn’t leave men indifferent.
Very feminine, sexy, and sweet without being cloying, with fruity notes and a touch of sparkle. I love wearing it from spring, both day and night. The trail is amazing, and the longevity, like all Kenzos, is excellent. I recommend it 100%; it’s one of the perfumes I like most in my entire collection.
One of my favorite Kenzos ❤. It’s a well-balanced floral-fruity: neroli, pomegranate, orange, and sandalwood. Maybe I’m crazy, but it smells like banana even though it’s not listed. Kenzo says it’s a seduction weapon, but for me, it’s more romantic and dreamy, a beautiful, tender love… though it sounds cheesy, lol. To seduce better, use its brother L’Elixir. I wear it in spring and some autumn days. It’s sweet and creamy, projection is weak so you have to apply it generously, but it lasts 10 hours if you do.
One of my favorite Kenzos ❤. It’s floral and fruity, very balanced with neroli, pomegranate, orange, and sandalwood; maybe I’m crazy, but I swear I smell banana even though it’s not listed. Kenzo calls it a seduction weapon, but for me, it’s more romantic and dreamy, a sweet and tender love… though it sounds cheesy, haha. If you want to seduce, go for its sibling, L’Elixir. I wear it in spring and some autumn days. It’s sweet, creamy, and weak on projection (you need to apply more), but it lasts 10 hours if it performs.
I love it! It’s one of my favorites. Every time I wear it, I have to keep smelling my wrists because it’s so addictive. It’s creamy, embracing, and has a trail that’s noticeable but not heavy, which I adore. With Jeu D’Amour, I finally feel the perfume I’m supposed to wear, something that doesn’t happen with others. Totally recommended, and I’d buy it again without a doubt.
Soft with that pomegranate note I absolutely love, even though real fruit doesn’t actually smell like this. It blends beautifully with florals like neroli and freesia, while sandalwood rounds it off with a creaminess that seems to merge right into the skin. For me, even without cashmere or leather, it works as a delicate, sensual scent with great longevity.
(Redwolf) It happened to me too; neroli isn’t my thing, even though I adore floral perfumes. You’re going to love J’eu d’Amor; it’s very intense and sexy; I was about to buy it.
Be careful with this fragrance. The initial scent is delicious, fresh, and sweet with mandarin, blackcurrant, and tea—amazing! I bought it on the spot the moment I smelled it, and what a mistake. After 10 minutes, that wonderful main scent disappears, leaving only neroli, neroli, and more neroli, with freesia appearing occasionally. The fragrance doesn’t smell bad, but I don’t consider myself a neroli lover (for me, it’s a note you either love or hate); it overwhelms me and gives me a headache, and for some reason, I associate it with older people (no offense, my olfactory memory works that way). In this perfume, the neroli scent is constant, so if you’re not a neroli lover, test it before buying. I love the advertising campaign, but it doesn’t seem to match the perfume; it doesn’t seem seductive or carnal, but rather a fresh floral scent perfect for summer and spring, for daily use to go to university or work. Perhaps its sister, Jeau d’Amor L’Elixir, has more of that sexy and sensual connotation; I’ve already noted it down to try it.
(Selene 85). I’m glad we share the same opinion; it happens to me very similarly. I’m really eager to smell Jeau d’Amor L’Elixir; I’ve heard many positive things about the fragrance, so I’ll review it soon.
Neroli, neroli, and more neroli. I’m not a fan of white flowers, so no. I didn’t like it at all. If you love neroli, this is your perfume.
I was buying another perfume when the salesperson, who intuitively knew what I was interested in, made me try this… And I fell in love. Unlike the previous comments, I am indeed a neroli lover. I’ve never encountered a neroli before, but I notice that all the fragrances that fascinate me carry that note. What stands out is the fixation; I could still smell it intact after washing my hands with plenty of soap. I’ve already added it to my wishlist. The only thing I don’t like is the box, though it sounds ridiculous. Having a neck ending in painted lips sitting on top of the dresser doesn’t attract me at all; it seems to ruin the overall design’s good taste.
At first, I didn’t like it much, but in the end, I fell in love with its pomegranate and neroli scent.
The saleswoman sprayed it on me for the sandalwood and GOD, I LOVE IT. It smells like the honeysuckle vine in my grandmother’s house. The opening is citrusy and green, but as it settles, it’s mostly creamy neroli with a slight sweetness. The scent is warm and creamy, it’s a winter scent, nothing fresh. Great for all day and young adults, very feminine. The trail is EXCELLENT and lasts 9 hours; the neroli stays pure. I love it. Now I want to try the EDT because the EDP seems too intense. It’s elegant and complex, NOTHING ARTIFICIAL. Edit: I bought the commercial version and it’s less creamy, with weak projection and poor longevity. I’m heartbroken because it was love at first sniff, I guess the tester was concentrated. Total disappointment now, it lasts less than 2 hours, same as the EDT.
Testing perfumes, the salesperson sprayed me on the sandalwood note. GOD, I LOVE IT! It smells like the honeysuckle vine from my grandmother’s house. The opening is citrusy and green; as it settles, it smells heavily of creamy, slightly sweet neroli. The scent is warm and creamy, ideal for winter, all day, and for young adults; very feminine. The trail is EXCELLENT and lasts 9 hours; the neroli scent remains pure. I love it. Now I want to try the EDT because the EDP feels too intense to me. It’s elegant and complex, nothing artificial. Edit: I bought the commercial version; it’s less creamy and has poor longevity. I’m dying because it was love at first sniff; I suppose the tester was concentrated. Total disaster now, as it lasts less than 2 hours, just like the EDT.
I tested a sample today… At first, it smelled like fresh floral shampoo, but over time, the neroli took center stage. Neroli doesn’t overwhelm me, and here it’s well-balanced, very similar to RL’s Woman (which I had to give to my mom) and reminiscent of L’Interdit EDP in its warmth. This Kenzo is a balanced neroli floral with a moderate trail, super wearable, and elegant. Recommended; it’s creamy and now I consider it a must-buy. Keep in mind it’s from 2014, so Kenzo gets the applause over the other two.
I bought it blindly following reviews, but honestly, I was disappointed. Very floral and very similar to Sunflower; I found it unoriginal. Maybe it’s my pH, but I didn’t like it at all; on my skin, it felt very heavy. The only thing I’ll give it is its longevity, as the scent persisted even after washing my wrists. In the end, I gifted it to a friend who loves sweet, floral scents.
I love it! It’s one of my favorite fragrances; I can’t live without it. A magical, fresh, talc-like, and sensual floral bouquet. Smells like fresh neroli and freesia with pomegranate juice and a woody finish featuring leather and musk. It has to be the EDP; the EDT doesn’t work. Lasts 9 hours with an aura trail that surrounds you. Excellent.
