Armaf never misses with its similar creations. Italiano Uomo is perfect for elegant, promising young men. The key is its longevity on the skin—it lasts a long time and smells rich. I wouldn’t link it to another fragrance due to cloning. It’s a great price, with a powerful, punchy opening that challenges anyone who sniffs it. Truly a good scent, wearable anytime.
I bought it and am testing it today. I loved it with 4 sprays: moderate trail. Citrus and fruity opening, after two hours it’s soft and a bit spicy, maybe due to the pepper. I don’t smell much leather; what stands out most is the violet, which gives it an elegant and formal touch. I think it works for all types of weather and I’ve really liked it, it will stay in my collection.
Just like Shades Blue and Tag Him, it shares the same final stage. People say they’re clones of Bleu de Chanel (which I’ve never heard of), but in my opinion, Italiano Uomo leans more toward leather, Shades Blue emphasizes pepper, and Tag Him brings out those wet herb notes. Here, the violet adds elegance and smells like skin with a slightly animalic touch. Good work by Armaf, though it’s not my favorite.

It smells like leather even though it’s not declared. The blend of leather, citrus, and violet gives an elegant and powerful result that makes a presence. It reminds me of Rasasi’s Yuqawam, but here raspberry is replaced by bergamot. Another great fragrance from Armaf.
Elegant and sophisticated; once it dries down, you get a clean, soft leather scent.
Elegant and sophisticated. Once it dries down, clean and soft leather takes over.
Despite the name, I see it as more unisex with feminine nuances. It reminds me a lot of the Armani Code line and its derivatives. It doesn’t smell like Tuscan Leather to me, at least not at the start. I need to keep testing it to see how it evolves. The longevity and projection are good, as is typical for the brand.
At first, it smells like citrus and basil, but soon turns into a rough, synthetic leather that doesn’t convince me in the first 30 minutes. If you can stick with it, it lingers on the skin, slightly sweet with a touch of violet. I wouldn’t wear it often because it projects so much, and watch out—it’s not a blind buy.
