Fragrantica, like other times, confuses readers: the bottle photo (the EDT and EDP one) doesn’t match the description (Parfum). Talking about the Parfum, whoever searches by name understands they are looking for that; it’s rounder than the EDT, without that artificial and harsh opening that nobody likes. It’s more smoky, while the EDT felt more citrusy. Although comparing the drydowns hand-to-hand, they don’t differ much. In my opinion, the EDT projects more, but the Parfum lasts longer (in my case, about 12 hours on the skin). In conclusion, I consider the Limited Edition to be the better perfume: closer to Aventus in aroma and structure, feeling higher quality or more natural ingredients compared to the other two CDNIMs.
My second review: the Pure Perfume 2022 version arrived today. Forget the potency of the 2018 EDTs. I put a drop on my wrist and the whole house got flooded; it reached the kitchen. Beastly, nothing compares to this projection. It smells rich, not my favorite, but I like it; I associate it with something formal and serious. Incredible power, gave me a slight headache at first. The opening is citrusy but pleasant, nothing harsh. Very powerful, rich scent. 7.5/10 for scent, 20/10 for projection, and 10/10 for longevity. Edit: the first day I got flooded with compliments. The neighbor from the 4th floor asked what smelled so good, then my girlfriend too. At a bar, my friends asked what perfume I was using. I recommend it 100% (Pure Perfume 2022 version).
CDNIM Parfum Limited Edition 2022. I bought it blindly based on reviews and the hype of being limited. Mistake. I simply didn’t like it. I don’t feel comfortable wearing it. Of this Aventus-style DNA, I had only tried Montblanc Explorer and loved it, although it didn’t last; I had read that the drydowns were identical, so I bought it. Two different things: the Explorer is cleaner, brighter, and subtler. This one is very smoky, strong, and intense. Obviously, if you like smoky scents, you’ll love it. Being a strong scent, I see it as mature (+30). This could be a source of discomfort, I’m 23. Yes, it’s a beast: the times I used it lasted 8 hours with projection for the first two. I was looking for something that would last all day with 5-6 sprays and it does. I can’t compare it to previous Club de Nuit ones because I haven’t tried them. Recommend testing before buying. It’s not a fragrance you have to rush to buy. None are. Cheers.
A lot of hype, but it’s a flop. I’m talking about the 200ml EDP (80€). People talk wonders about the smoky drydown, but to me it smells rancid and old. Even though I’m 25 and have an elegant style, it doesn’t suit me even with a tuxedo. I suppose Creed Aventus smells better, because if not, I don’t understand the comparison… I have Montblanc Explorer, Loewe EDP essence, Zara Vibrant Leather, and SNOI, and those give it a thousand turns. I can’t find the famous pineapple. It’s curious, but the only thing I’m starting to like is the bottle, although most people hate it.
This site makes me laugh many times. I see people commenting on the EDP, others on the Limited Edition, and nobody on the Pure Parfum. I wish they specified with name and image each version (EDT, EDP, Limited Edition, Pure Parfum) to generate proper reviews and notes, since they are different from each other.
I have the EDP, an exquisite aroma. I can’t compare it to the EDT, but the opening is incredible and captivating at first. The only issue is that it appears to have no projection: you don’t notice it on yourself, but others do. I bought the bottle and couldn’t smell it on me, but at university girls were congratulating me. Going up the stairs to my home, my neighbor said she could smell it after 9 hours. PD: It appears to have no projection, Club de Nuit Intense EDP.
I’ve already used two bottles and the third one arrived (all EDT 105ml). At 22 years old, I wear it at uni, for casual outings, or formal events, and I always get compliments. Is it hard to get used to when smelling it for the first time? Yes. But it’s a delight on the skin and the trail scent is exquisite according to everyone’s comments. I went to a birthday party and the hostess said she knew I had arrived by the scent before opening the door. Conclusion: don’t let yourself be swayed by others’ opinions; tastes differ. Some can’t like what you love. There are people who buy $400 perfumes and sell them the next day because they didn’t like them, and others who love one for $50 or less.
I love the Limited Edition Parfum. Ideal for spring and summer, but works for any occasion. The opening is strong, less so than the EDT or EDP; instead of smoky, I sense a ‘burnt’ note from blackcurrants that dissipates quickly, leaving soft lemon and pineapple. At 15 minutes, the more refined and elegant DNA emerges. It feels a step above the EDP, perfect for informal night outs, more for men 30+. Worth it if you already own the others. It’s the best of the three: versatile, with a 2-meter trail per hour and 8 hours of skin longevity, lasting up to 12 on clothes. In Uruguay, with high taxes and no duty-free imports, it costs about $140 (5,600 pesos) at official stores. Perfect for day or night in warm seasons.
It gives me an allergy: stinging and redness on my neck every time I use it. Probably not dermatologically tested since it’s an Arabic perfume. I’ve already notified the Ministry of Health. What a pity it smells so good…
A genetic sibling to Club de Nuit Intense with a dry lemon opening that’s beautiful and not harsh. The smoky drydown smells much better here, integrated with a clearer and more persistent citrus note than in the other versions.
Club de Nuit Intense Parfum is undoubtedly the best I’ve tested (the only one I haven’t tried is the limited edition). It has a very sharp lemon acidity but isn’t unpleasant like the EDT, and doesn’t get lost like the EDP; the smoky touch also feels better crafted. Longevity and projection are lower than the EDT (which was a literal beast), but not bad: decent projection and 7-8 hours of longevity. For me, it’s a workhorse, good for everything and any time.
Potent lemon opening that fades quickly. Then it reminds me a lot of Zara’s Vibrant Leather Oud, but less old. Friendlier but with the same spirit. Another Creed Aventus-style perfume, much cheaper and with quality not far behind.
This Parfum version feels much more like Afnan’s Supremacy Not Only Intense, with a slight lean towards Nishane’s Liver rather than Aventus. It’s beautiful, but among all Club de Nuit Intense versions, the limited edition is the best and most balanced. It projects less and not as much as this one, but I feel it’s more refined. Any Club de Nuit Intense you buy up to the EDT is an excellent investment for any occasion.
Without a doubt, this Parfum is the best. They improved the lemon opening from the EDT, the performance of the EDP, and the smoky touch of the limited edition. Longevity could be a bit longer, but it doesn’t drop below 8-9 hours; projection and sillage are excellent. The price in Chile has risen, hovering around $73 for 150ml in 2023. Recommended if it doesn’t keep rising.
Club de Nuit Intense remains my favorite, but without that cheap, up-front lemon blast from the EDT. It’s still a beast in longevity, though it projects less; it still lasts a ridiculous amount: 8 to 10 hours with a great initial trail.
I think they’re referring to the 2022 Pure Parfum. Given the few reviews, people say it’s the best of all, the most balanced, pleasant, and versatile; we’ll have to see if that holds up. But be careful not to confuse it with the EDP.
Good morning. Today’s pick is Club de Nuit EDP. I know the Parfum version should be here, but I couldn’t find it. The EDP is like the EDT but without that synthetic opening. Projection is solid—not quite at the EDT level, but easily reaches 4.5 feet. Longevity is definitely superior, easily between 6 and 8 hours. Compliments are frequent, though most come from women over 30. Perfume 9/10.
I’m tired of reading mile-long guides that say nothing. The perfume is good and cheap, but it’s not Creed Aventus, watch out. No clone replicates it 100%, even if it resembles the notes. It smells great, woody, smoky, and citrusy; it has pineapple, but little, and yet it’s exquisite. Many complain about longevity, but it’s hard for a perfume to last more than 4-5 hours with a continuous trail. The important thing is that it stays on your skin and is noticeable over time. I have a 2022 batch, and the first time I used it, the scent lingered on my clothes and sheets all night. If this doesn’t happen to you, maybe you should see a dermatologist or take better care of your skin. With hydrated skin, it lasts up to 8 hours for me. On Saturday, December 16th, I went to a birthday party: I put it on at 9:30 PM, and several people told me it smelled great. At 6 AM, after leaving the club, a girl said goodbye, hugged me, and smelled me—super good. From 9:30 PM to 6:30 AM, the perfume was at full strength with a massive trail. In summary: exquisite perfume, not too expensive, long-lasting for all seasons (but better for night, for a reason they call it ‘the black beast’). Please, don’t overapply; 6 to 8 sprays are enough to not scare anyone. It’s an excellent perfume from an Arab house. A tip: take care of your skin. Apply moisturizer after showering, especially where you’ll apply the perfume, wait 10 minutes, and then apply the perfume. You’ll see that longevity increases considerably. Look for unscented or nearly odorless creams.
Smells like controversy. I picked this up after trying the MontBlanc Explorer; once it dries, they’re almost twins, both with an Aventus soul. My issue is the opening: the first 15-30 minutes are a loud lemon and bergamot that scream for refinement. After that, the fragrance relaxes and evolves into something luxurious. The dry-down is pure success, though the start can be intimidating. Longevity is beastly and the trail is brutal. It’s an all-rounder. I’m sticking with the MontBlanc for now, but this remains a great alternative to Aventus. I recommend it, but don’t buy it blindly.
Gentlemen, I have the 2022 batch, and I tell you it’s still the Black Beast; don’t listen to those who say the projection dropped. This perfume is a Brown Beast: I only sprayed it once for a wedding, and it projected for over 4 hours. It lasts for weeks on clothes, and even after washing, it still smells. I recommend it if you want to turn heads.
Nothing. What a total letdown. I bought the August 2023 batch blind because the praise was constant. I already loved Montblanc Explorer, but I saw reviews here claiming it had 2-3 levels less longevity and projection than Armaf. Expecting them to be equal, I decided to buy the ‘beast’. The disappointment was huge: it doesn’t smell like Explorer, nor Creed (which I haven’t smelled, but I don’t care). That rich, smoked pineapple scent doesn’t exist. It’s like the song ‘we still want turron’, but here it would be ‘we still smell lemon, lemon, lemon’. That note hijacks everything: an artificial, heavy lemon that smells like a slice of Fanta. As kids, when we ate that slice, it smelled like lemon with artificial and orangey soda touches. A disappointment. For this scent, I’d rather buy lemon extract and patchouli. In terms of performance, the ‘beast’ is a lizard. Yes, it’s above Francisco Rabaneda fragrances, but it lacks punch. If I give Joop a 10 and Kouros an 8.5, Club de Nuit stays at a meager 6. I sprayed CDN on a shirt, and the next day it smelled like Kouros from three days ago, while the CDN had almost completely vanished. As they say in Galicia: ‘I won’t repeat it, don’t be afraid’.
First Arabic perfume I tried, and it surprised me. I have the Pure Parfum: the opening is sparkling and citrusy, though too much for my taste, lasting about 3-4 minutes before stabilizing with that smoky wood scent mixed with the citrus. It smells delicious; I love the dry down; it’s addictive. The performance is insane: 4 sprays are enough, it projects a lot, and it lasts forever. It seems more suitable for an older audience; it’s not that sweet scent that everyone likes.
It was my first Arabic perfume, and while the opening is a bit annoying due to that sour lemon tone, it fades within 2 or 3 minutes and starts projecting its power. To me, it’s exquisite: heavy and citrusy, a true beast.
CDNIM Pure Parfum review from March 2024: WOW! They improved that sharp citrus opening; it’s no longer so aggressive or chemical. The scent remains a delight. On my skin, the projection lasts about 3-4 hours, and on clothes, 8-9 hours. For this price, the quality is unbeatable. 10/10.
This is my favorite Arabic perfume for men, an authentically masculine scent. I look for strong perfumes, and this wins by a landslide; my husband thinks it smells amazing, even though he prefers softer scents, the first few minutes overwhelm him, so he doesn’t wear it much in summer, but he still wears it during the day. The dry down is wonderful, and he loves it too; even though he’s bought more expensive designer perfumes, none compete with this. The longevity, projection, and price are insane. It’s perfect for a young adult who wants character without looking old, and for me, as a woman who loves smelling it, it’s a 10.
I can’t stand it. For me, Armaf is a mediocre house among Arabic perfumes. I bought Club de Nuit Intense Pure Parfum blindly, and after several tries, I don’t like it: it smells like dampness and mold. This Pure Parfum is similar to Aventus clones, but its opening smells like chemical syrup mixed with chamomile. I find it lacking. Out of all the Arabic Aventus clones, the best is Afnan Supremacy SILVER; Not Only Intense goes a different way. I won’t try anything else from Armaf.
I got the 200ml Parfum. It leaves a brutal trail and projects a lot, though not as much as the EDT. However, it lasts for several hours. It’s an elegant scent that needs to settle for the first 15 minutes. Will people ask about it? Definitely 100%, but be careful not to overapply.
A bold and seductive fragrance that blends freshness with class. Opens with vibrant citrus and blackberry, moves into a floral and spicy heart, and settles with amber and cedar. The Parfum version fixes the synthetic lemon of the EDT, projects well, and lasts over 10 hours on skin. You’ll never go unnoticed; people will ask for compliments, and it’s worth the price for 200ml. Note: don’t spray it on clothes, it’s hard to remove, and in enclosed spaces or with too many sprays, it can be overwhelming. Scent 9/10, projection and longevity 10/10. It’s a refined and powerful beast, highly recommended.
At first, I thought it was trash because of that sparkling burnt lemon opening on the EDT, until the person who sold it to me smelled it dry and said it was amazing. I started researching and found the Eau de Parfum; once I sprayed it, it wasn’t so aggressive anymore and is much more wearable.
10ml RCP. Works all year round, but be careful in the heat: it’s too strong and projects like a cannon.
Second review: with years and experience in perfumes, you recognize the true value of certain fragrances. Club de Nuit Intense is a standout example. Its longevity is impressive, hard not to be amazed by the intensity and endurance. It seems to have an almost magical formula, so durable it’s almost ‘radioactive’ in persistence. Without a doubt, Club de Nuit Intense stands out for leaving a lasting and notable impression with great resistance throughout the day. It simply can’t be missing from any collection.
I prefer Supremacy Not Only Intense, much more balanced and pleasant on the nose.
I see people reviewing the EDT, this is the Intense Parfum! My god, how rich it is. I gifted it to my partner in a 200ml size, impressive! Doesn’t anyone notice? Doesn’t it remind you of the old XS by Paco Rabanne? It does to me, it has that something, it took me to the pleasure of smelling that big perfume… it turned it into a beautiful nostalgia. The CDNIMP has its personality, I think it doesn’t project as blatantly as the EDT and that’s perfect for an adult man, it doesn’t mean it goes unnoticed, it’s felt and enjoyed. I loved the gift even more when my partner said it smells great, I’m happier than ever!
Reviewing the Pure Parfum I just bought on Notino for 52€ for 150ml. Unlike the EDT (which I’ve used for a year), the initial citrus part is much more contained, it almost instantly moves to the heart and base, with no real evolution. It smells like what you’d expect from a Club de Nuit Intense Man, similar to Creed Aventus (which I don’t own but have heard in stores), and I’d say it has more similarity to Loewe Esencia EDP or Elixir. Compared to the EDT, we lose some projection and sillage, which is logical with less alcohol, but we notably improve longevity and the quality feel of the blend. If you like fragrances that evolve, this isn’t for you, it’s very flat. If I had to choose between the EDT and this Parfum, I’d stick with the EDT for its initial fresh citrus projection, synthetic yes, but it has evolution from that fresh-luminous part to the dark-smoky one. The EDT lasts less but is worthy for its price. This Parfum goes straight to the ‘dark’ part, lasts several hours blasting good waves that feel intense after 4 hours, but smell the same from minute zero and are not very original. Still, I give it a top score for the price (52€ for 150ml) and performance. Another thing is that I personally prefer the EDT over this Parfum, but well, it is.
Same as the EDT, it’s an absurd flanker on the Aventus aroma in a cheap Arab version, it’s just a slot machine.
I love it and so does everyone else. At first, it gave me an old smell, that lemon/smoked pineapple was a burnt, stale lemon. I thought my bottle was bad, but when I let others try it, they noticed nothing, and with use, I stopped noticing those stale notes. It goes from an initial smoky citrus to smoky woods. I notice a synthetic touch that doesn’t bother me. Lasts about 6 hours on skin and a bit longer on clothes projecting for the first 2-3 hours. I’d recommend reapplying to get back to that citrusy, sweet, and woody opening, I love it.
It’s unclear if Fragrantica’s description is for Intense Man EDP or Pure Parfum (it’s also unclear if ‘Parfum’ technically exists as a concentration, since both commercial versions are marked ‘EDP’ on the bottle). Clarifying this, I’m referring to the 200ml EDP. Classic masculine aroma, citrus, fruity, woody, and ambroxan. It’s modern, not a classic fougere, for those seeking total masculinity, nothing unisex, balanced but potent, without the harshness of the famous EDT (thank goodness). You can tell it’s better quality than the EDT, a worthy inspiration for Creed Aventus. Great performance, 2-3 hours projection, 7-9 hours longevity. Much more refined than the ‘atomic bomb’ EDT, for an excellent price, the 200ml bottle is a steal at 40€. I haven’t tried the ‘pure parfum’ or the limited edition. The EDT disgusts me with its eternal dishwasher detergent opening; in this EDP, the unpleasant opening lasts only 2-3 minutes and smells much more like dishwasher detergent. The rest, heart and base, are very similar and exquisite.
This review is for the 200ml EDP. I bought it because I had the EDT and the opening gave me nausea, like burnt lemons. This fixes that opening and leaves you with just the dry down. Still brutal, safe buy, great sillage, good longevity, and a good price.
[April 2025 Batch] Friends, it hurts my stomach seeing people swear that Club de Nuit smells like garbage… Before writing this, I saw on Facebook that someone said Precieux smelled terrible. I held back, took my time. My first Club de Nuit was Urban Elixir, a delicious, clean, masculine, citrusy, and spicy scent—everything a man looks for. I love sweets, so I’m not picky about one type of smell. Due to the hype, I couldn’t resist trying Intense Man. I went straight for greatness: 200ml EDP. No nonsense, first spray… Gentlemen, this is divine. Smoky pineapple, woody, spicy, clean… It’s Urban Elixir with an exquisite touch of smoky pineapple. Seriously, who did so much damage to ensure people think this smells bad? I need to know…
I had a 2018 batch of Intense Man, and the reformulation is trash… it smells much weaker than before, even though the base notes are the same. Still brutal though, 10/10.
