Tres Nuit by Armaf

Classic herbal aroma, very similar to what my grandfather used. It’s not youthful, has woody notes, and is more suited for an older man. It’s usually a good price and lasts quite a while, but honestly, it’s not my style. It’s not bad, but I wouldn’t recommend it.

It’s a good perfume without standing out too much. Herbal, fresh, clean, and masculine aroma that reminds me of vintage classics. I recommend it for men 27 and up. The longevity is acceptable: it lasts through the day, fading to skin-level after 3 hours but lingering a bit more on clothes. If you’re looking for something herbal, it’s a great option. By the way, it reminds me of Avon’s Black Suede Green for those in Mexico.

Not for everyone. The box looks nice on the outside with blue velvet and fine calligraphy, but inside it’s cheap cardboard. The bottle is quirky: a rounded pyramid shape like a witch’s potion, with a brown faux-leather belt and silver buckle. The cap is plastic under metal, and the atomizer comes loose, which is its weak point. The design is elegant, with silver letters and a blue that looks like diamond paper. It’s unisex, though leaning feminine; a stylish man in soft clothes could wear it too. Ideal for spring or mild days. Violet is the star, followed by iris adding a powdery, feminine touch (30-60 min). Then lavender is barely noticeable, with a spicy hint of clove and anise. It has two phases: a citrus-green one and another where iris blends with spicy sandalwood. It lasts 2-4 hours on skin and 6-9 on clothes. In the second phase, it smells like grape bubblegum or a women’s clothing store. If you like violet, formal florals, and powdery scents, it’s yours. A steal under $20. Rating: 7/10.

Exquisite aroma but very soft. Slightly citrusy at the start and then very subtle powdery, very intimate. If you have a partner and they lean in to your neck, they’ll smell a delicious scent. It lasts about 5 hours and projects moderately. If you find it at a good price, it’s fine. There’s one almost identical for $15: Homme 033 by L’BEL, which lasts much longer.

Citrus, floral, and marine. It’s clean, pleasant, versatile, and wearable. When I don’t want to think for the day or the night, I use this or Eros EDP. It smells rich, but I find it a bit flat and lacking character. I’m not sure how much it actually resembles the GIT, but I’d like to think the Creed one has a more distinctive air. Performance is satisfactory.

If you’re looking for something almost identical to Tres Nuit, Cool Water, or Creed GIT, L’BEL Homme 033 is your best bet. For under $20, it delivers excellent quality and scent with about 6 hours of longevity. It’s 90% similar to Tres Nuit but packs more punch thanks to a cognac note that gives it a more masculine edge. Brutal performance 🔥🔥🔥💯

The person below said it “smells salty,” and honestly, I didn’t realize it until now, but they’re right. It doesn’t smell like iris, at least from my perspective, on the 2023 bottle I used. Personally, I don’t like it. It smells like a slightly feminine generic fragrance with chemical floral notes, something similar to what you’d smell in a cream or talcum powder.

This is an ARMAF bomb, with explosive longevity of over 24 hours 🙆🏻♂️ and a super powerful trail that fills the whole living room. It’s a very refined perfume, with notes of spices, sandalwood, and flowers that make it divine 🤩. It’s one of those “pants-down” scents 😂😂😂 that drive women crazy. You can buy it with your eyes closed. 1000 x 1000 recommended 🕉️🕉️🕉️

I’m in a bomb zone. For a long time I underestimated it because it didn’t catch my attention, however, I bought it (to give it a chance) and wow. Tremendous perfume!! Projection, trail, and longevity are insane. I wore it to work in the morning, usually I reapply in the afternoon, but with this one I couldn’t because it sticks and lasts all day. To top it off… compliments keep coming all day long.

It’s a clone of Creed Irish Tweed, but watch out: for the price, it’s an absolute beast in longevity. It’s a pure citrus bomb, ideal for hot daily wear. As an Eau de Parfum, it lasts longer than regular toilettes. Greetings from the Dominican Republic.

Forget this one and buy L’Aventure Knight by Al Haramain instead; let me know what you think afterward. No thanks.

After trying Cool Water, Aspen by Coty, and Benetton Colors Green, I confirm that Tres Nuit is the closest to GIT, even if it doesn’t reach the nobility or quality of Creed. Each has its own style: some are more marine, others autumnal or green, but this one is floral with sandalwood, young iris, and fresh cedar. A delight at a great price. Don’t be scared if it doesn’t last long at first; once air gets into the bottle, it gains body, depth, and nuances. Fresh but not linear, I love it.

I’ve already tried GIT, CW, and Tres Nuit. Tres Nuit is the one that resembles GIT the most without copying it. GIT is superior to all its clones, though its price is outrageous. If you can afford it, go for it; if not, buy Tres Nuit, it’s 95% similar and a steal. CW sounds more marine and invasive. In summary: Tres Nuit is a great clone of GIT, good price, nice bottle, and average longevity (4-5 hours). These perfumes make you want to use them for aromatherapy; they’re so relaxing.

I’ll give the same opinion for Davidoff Cool Water and Armaf Tres Nuit. To me, they’re quite similar, though they have distinct nuances; both the opening and dry down follow similar lines. The truth is, I don’t like either. Tres Nuit was a blind buy (I couldn’t test it before), while Cool Water I had already tried. I bought it online too and didn’t remember it smelling like this. I don’t like the openings on both (I expected more citrus) nor their developments (they end up clean but flat, without nuances or addictiveness). I’ll try them in the heat, but I don’t trust my opinion will change, so I doubt I’ll buy them again. I recommend testing them well before purchasing. I think both have been helped by a false hype placing them as clones of Creed Green Irish Tweed. I haven’t tried Creed yet, but I’m putting my hand on the fire: it’s impossible for GIT to have anything to do with these two. In my case, the mistake was thinking they were citrus or marine because I didn’t read other reviews and note descriptions carefully.

Very pleasant opening; reminds me of Cool Water at first, then takes another path with iris, lavender, and violet. It lasted quite a bit on my skin: I sprayed it 3 times in the morning and it was still there at 10 PM, even though I showered and could still smell it. It might be sillage-based projection, but it was there; it could have been 2 or 3 hours outdoors in open spaces, so I’m not sure how much it reached people. If I compare it to Raghba by Lattafa, they’re identical in the opening for the first 30 minutes, then they take different paths, but this one lasted longer than Raghba.
