I bought it out of curiosity with the flankers of the line. It starts super fresh with citrus, though it fades quickly to make way for crisp green apples. As it dries on the skin, it softly releases violets and iris with an almost imperceptible touch of raspberry. It’s a fresh body scent with a powdery base, nothing loud, innocent, and perfect for any weather. The trail is moderate and the longevity is average.
Curious to explore more flankers in the line, I ordered it. Very fresh but fleeting citrus opening, followed by crisp green apples. Once it dries on the skin, a soft fan of violets and iris unfolds subtly. I detect a very slight sweet touch of raspberry. It has a fresh body but an aldehydic base, with sinuous shapes. Beautiful, nothing strident, innocent, and easy to wear in any weather. Moderate to low sillage, medium longevity.
Subtle and delicate, it reminds me of the older sibling Insolente that started this great line. Guerlain uses fixatives and raw materials on another level; if another brand made a flanker like this, we’d call it money wasted. It opens acidic, with citrus mixing with green apple to boost the citrus notes. Then violets and iris kick in, lasting about 6 to 8 hours on the skin. It doesn’t evolve as much as the EDT or EDP, but it’s a super light flanker. What a pity it’s discontinued.
It’s a refined and delicate fragrance that reminds me of its sibling Insolente, the one that inspired this line. Guerlain has such excellent fixatives and raw materials that if another brand made a flanker like this, we’d call it money burned. The opening is acidic due to the citrus and green apple, which reinforces that freshness. Then the violets and iris come in, lasting about 6 to 8 hours on the skin. It doesn’t have a great evolution like the EDT or EDP, but it’s a super light flanker. What a pity it’s discontinued.
