  • This fragrance is very rich, simple, and soft. The violet aroma is totally dominant. It conveys a feeling of cleanliness, cheerfulness, and simplicity. Highly recommended.

  • I tried it and didn’t like it at all. I think it’s a perfume that suits my 60-year-old grandmother; it smells of violets and rich sweetness, but I can’t stand that powdery scent. It never settled on my skin; I always perceived that horrendous powder smell that reminds me of my grandmother. I think it will look great on her.

I was gifted it recently and didn’t expect to like it so much. I find it a bit sweeter and powdery than the Insolence eau de toilette, with a more invasive violet. On the blotter, it smells more metallic (due to the iris), but on my skin, the sweetness of the violet with the red berries intensifies, leaving a very caramelized and creamy scent. I think it’s ideal for evening wear or special occasions like a romantic date or dinner. It makes me think of flirting and wanting to dazzle someone at the start of a relationship. It’s quite intense, so don’t use it in the heat or apply too much. It has great sillage and lasts forever on my skin (more than 12 hours). Worth trying if you’re a fan of the original Insolence.

  • I started with this perfume because its sweet scent brought back memories of the violet candies I used to eat as a child. It had more nuances but was a rich, edible aroma. It’s that kind of fragrance people ask you what you’re wearing; I loved it so much that it became ubiquitous, and it was rare not to cross paths with someone using it. I think I went through two 100ml bottles, but when I finished the last one, I decided to switch up to be more original. It’s a pretty, sugary perfume. I guess it depends on the trend or the moment, but these days I wouldn’t buy it again. Not that I don’t like it—it’s magnificent—but my relationship with it has ended. Longevity: 10/10. Sillage: 9/10. ❤️
