Before buying, I wanted to check reviews and I’m surprised no one has talked about this Zara EDP. I got an idea from collector videos on YouTube, bought it a few weeks ago, and I’m already using it. It’s quite similar to Lisboa, but without that soapy note and feels more herbal. At first, it smells strong of tangerine with lemon touches. Projection is powerful at first but drops off after 30 to 40 minutes. Being an EDP, I expected it to last longer than Lisboa, but they’re on the same level for projection and longevity. On tough skin, it lasts a good while; I showered and still caught its trail on my wrists. For its price, around $20, I give it a 10. Very nice perfume, good projection and longevity for its low cost. It also reminds me of the halo of Profumo, but lasts much longer on skin.
One-sentence summary: disappointment. It smells like bitter orange peel over a soapy base, with low projection and short longevity on skin. It’s not fresh enough for summer, more suited for fall-winter, and unisex. I wouldn’t buy it again; I’ve been testing it for two weeks and it just doesn’t convince me. The only good thing is it smells high-quality, unlike Zara’s synthetics. Test before buying, watch out—it stains clothes. The evolution is pleasant, but the low durability means I don’t enjoy that part. I live in a hot place, around 30 degrees, and it doesn’t smell as fresh as people claim.
I’m not sure if there’s something specific, but at first I noticed floral notes, followed by sage on the skin, which doesn’t change much. I still catch a bit of tangerine with the sage; the herbal aspect is pleasant with a fresh base. Overall, it’s a soft, intimate aroma with low projection, perfect for relaxing and savoring the scent. It sounds familiar to me, reminiscent of Loewe 7 Natural but softer, without the loud pepper or incense.
It’s a soft clone of L’Eau d’Isey Pour Homme in Eau de Toilette form. Friends tried it on me without knowing what it was, and they said it smelled 90% identical. If you want to save money, the Zara version is identical to Miyake’s. It smells fresh and nice, but since it’s a clone of an older perfume, the scent is well-known and won’t surprise anyone.
