The bottle looks nice; I hadn’t tried it before, but since I already own Versace Eros Flame—which is an absolute beast in terms of projection and longevity—I had a good idea of what to expect. Imperial Blue reminds me a lot of Eros, especially due to the vanilla, tonka bean, and geranium notes. It has that refreshing minty and citrus opening with a fruity touch, and it feels like high-quality fragrance. The only downside is the very alcoholic opening, but it settles down after a few minutes. For 21 USD, the price-to-quality-to-packaging ratio is a solid 9/10; the only issue is that harsh initial alcohol burst that fades with time.

I know this fragrance well: I own both Eros and the EDP. Imperial Blue is almost identical to the Versace Eros EDT, sharing the same notes except for the lack of ambroxan, which reduces its longevity and sillage. But for under $18 here in Chile, you can soak yourself in scent without breaking the bank.

Versace Eros EDP but at a steal of a price with brutal packaging. It’s worth every penny. I grabbed it here in Chile 🇨🇱 for $17, and it smells incredible.
