Momento by Riiffs is a sensual aroma for nights out with friends. A spiced oriental rose with saffron and a subtle touch of oud. Excellent quality, moderate sillage, and amazing longevity. It looks very similar to Montale’s Arabians Tonka; it’s a wonderful budget alternative.
Total surprise with Riiffs, still catching me off guard! The opening is intense, definitely not for the shy. It’s unisex, though guys who aren’t fans of roses or florals might initially find it a bit feminine. It starts with a sparkling burst that can be overwhelming at first, but the rose blooms quickly, giving way to the floral notes. Even though it doesn’t list saffron, I definitely smell it—a slightly spicy and warm touch. Yes, it reminds me a lot of Montale’s Arabians Tonka, but that rose also brings to mind Mancera Roses Vanille, that rose sweetened with an Arabian air. As it dries down, it’s sweet, slightly resinous, ambered, and musky; the rose remains the queen, though over time it cedes the spotlight to the vanilla. In short: a sweetened rose with amber and spicy undertones. Projection and longevity are about 10 hours on my skin, and the best part? It’s affordable with great value for money.
Since I tried Momento by Riiffs, I knew I’d found a gem in oriental fragrances. Sweet opening with sugar and tangerine that captivated me, followed by a spiced heart of saffron and damask rose with great elegance. The base of caramel, amber, and cedar gives a warm, enveloping depth. Many compare it to Montale’s Arabians Tonka, and Momento offers a similar experience at a fraction of the price. It’s unisex and stands out in cool climates and special occasions. Notable longevity, it lingers on the skin for hours without being overwhelming.
Nice fragrance, Momento by Riiffs. A sweetened, woody rose that’s very easy to enjoy. Elegant and unisex. If you like this type of scent, go for it.
Very good and powerful, much better than the Zimaya clone. This one is more caramelized, with better projection and longevity.
Easy and simple. The best Arabians Tonka clone with a softer rose than the original and beastly performance. The best option.
I was wearing Taraf Black by Zimaya and didn’t get hooked, but thanks to a clearance deal, I picked up Moment used without a box for $24. What a rich and beautiful fragrance; the sweet notes are much more prominent, with that base of light smoke and tonka bean powder. The wood stays more contained, and the citrus is only at the beginning. It lasts all day, people smell it from afar, and I’ve gotten way more compliments with this than with the Zimaya. If you’re looking for a Montale dupe, a thousand times better to go with this; I think it’s worth every cent and is the best thing on my shelf. It goes great for dates, during the day, at night, and even at parties or formal events. This is a beast!
I owned the Taraf Black by Zimaya and couldn’t live without it, until I snagged this Momento at a used clearance for $24 without a box. What a rich scent; the sweetness really comes through with that smoky, tonka bean base; the wood is more contained and the citrus is only at the start. It lasts all day, people smell it from a distance, and I’ve gotten compliments I never got with the Zimaya. If you’re looking for a Montale clone, go for this a thousand times over; it’s worth every penny and is the best thing on my shelf. Perfect for dates, day, night, and parties.
I tried Arabians Tonka and found it very feminine, but this Momento by Riiffs, with its softer rose, feels more like a masculine unisex scent. Longevity is similar, but the projection is a bit less powerful (though still beastly). For the price, there’s no way to lose.
I fell in love with the DNA of Arabians Tonka thanks to all the hype, but I waited until next year to buy it due to the price. Then I found this Riiffs clone and didn’t hesitate. I’ve had it for a week and I’m already hooked. It has nothing to envy from the original; it smells identical and the longevity is top-tier, though Montale’s is in a different league. Proof that you don’t need to spend a fortune to smell good. This will be my signature for autumn/winter, and maybe when I run out, I’ll buy the original. Scent: 10/10, rose, caramel, and wood. Longevity: 9.5/10, lasts all day on skin and longer on clothes. Atomizer: 1000/10, long and powerful. Price: 1000/10, around 35 euros in Spain and it’s a steal. Versatility: 8/10, great for cold weather but also mild days, day or night, though not for the gym. Blind buy: yes, anyone will like it. P.S.: I spray 5 times (neck, nape, and arms) and it projects like crazy; today at work they told me to tone it down, so 3 sprays or even mini-sprays are more than enough.
A while back I tried Arabians Tonka due to the hype and fell in love with the DNA, but the price made me think about waiting until next year. Then this Riiffs clone appeared, and I didn’t hesitate. I’ve had it for a week, and after 3 or 4 uses, I’m totally hooked; it has nothing to envy from the original, smells practically identical, and the longevity is brutal, even though I know Montale is a nuclear bomb. It’s proof that sometimes you don’t need to spend a fortune to get quality. Definitely will be my signature for autumn/winter, and maybe when I run out, I’ll buy the original. Scent: 10/10, I mostly notice rose, caramel, and wood. Longevity: 9.5/10, it lasts all day on skin and much longer on clothes, the sillage is noticeable. Atomizer: 1000/10, long and pressurized, a beauty. Price: 1000/10, around 35 euros in Spain for an extrait de parfum, the quality is a gift. Versatility: 8/10, it shows its full potential on cold days but also works in warm weather without being cloying, suitable for day or night, casual or formal, though not for the gym. Blind buy: Definitely, it pleases anyone, and if you’re an oddball who doesn’t like it, you can gift it to anyone and they’ll love it. P.S.: I normally spray 5 full sprays (2 on neck, 1 at the nape, and 1 on each forearm), which is normal, but today they asked me at work to use less because it felt very strong (very delicious, just strong), so 3 normal sprays or 5 mini-sprays is more than enough.
Did they change the formula since September 2025? As I see it on Fragrantica, there are two extremes: either it’s super long-lasting and projects wildly, or it doesn’t last more than 2 hours and smells like nothing. I’m saying this because I bought mine on Black Friday 2025 and it barely smells. I thought maybe I bought a fake, but the quality of the box, bottle, and atomizer tells me otherwise. The most recent reviews say it doesn’t last at all. Maybe I should buy another dupe from a different house, like Karus by Khadlaj, because the one from Riffs doesn’t seem to be the best anymore. Note: I’m letting it macerate, but I’ve read comments from people who macerated it for 3 months and it didn’t help at all.
If you’re looking for decent performance, forget this Riiffs clone; any cheap knockoff will last longer. I bought it just because of the hype, hoping for a more ‘domestic’ version of the original. While they smell like twins in the air, this one fades on you instantly. Heads up: not worth it.
Did they change the formula in September 2025? On Fragrantica, reviews are split: some say it lasts forever, others say it vanishes in two hours. I bought mine on Black Friday and it barely smells. The box and atomizer are top-notch, so it’s not fake. Recent reviews confirm it has zero longevity. Maybe try another clone like Khadlaj’s Karus, since this Riiffs one isn’t the best anymore. I’ve let it macerate for months with no improvement.
Pure sensuality. I had Momento de Riffs in my cart for 6 months, and because I hesitated, it sold out; it wasn’t available in Chile for nearly 6 months until the restock arrived at a great price, around $18. This is fantastic; I have no words to explain how a perfume this cheap can smell so expensive: an exotic blend of spicy notes, somewhat oriental, but with a sweet base that makes it totally wearable, sensual, nocturnal, and perfect for dates. This is for people with personality who want to smell different; it calls for dressing all in black with a tucked-in shirt or polo, and looking well-groomed, don’t even think about using it for daily errands or the gym. Details: the only downside is the opening, which initially seemed a bit plastic-y (a slight new plastic smell that lasted about 3 minutes). Also, I feel it doesn’t have a brutal projection like Arabians Tonka by Montale, which I haven’t tried yet, but it’s clear the longevity is very good, easily surpassing 8 hours with a pleasant sweet scent close to the skin. In summary, a great purchase. WARNING: don’t buy blind; at least you should have experience with a bit more challenging scents.
Momento de Riiffs is a fragrance that, from my experience, stands out for its versatile and balanced character. From the first application, you perceive a pleasant and well-structured scent, with notes that harmoniously combine freshness and warmth, making it very wearable. What I like most is its adaptability: it conveys a modern and clean sensation, without being too discreet but also not invasive. It works well for both daily wear and relaxed encounters, providing a pleasant aroma that accompanies naturally. During its evolution, it maintains a consistent and soft profile, with a balance between fresh notes and deep touches that give it body without being overwhelming. It’s not a deeply intense perfume, but rather accessible and comfortable, perfect for those seeking a scent with personality without complications. Personally, I consider it an excellent option for daily use, work, and informal moments. Its versatility makes it fit various styles, turning it into a safe bet without sacrificing an interesting profile. Overall, Momento de Riiffs seems to me a solid proposal: well-balanced, with a defined identity, and a very attractive quality-price ratio. A perfume that delivers, adapts, and accompanies naturally.
Honey with incense and an ambroxan-type booster. Unbearable smell.
Probably the safest fragrance I own. It’s very unlikely you won’t like this despite the oud+rose combination. It literally smells exactly like what’s on the bottle, hard to explain; you can smell the tonka bean and plenty of sugar. Riiffs shines with this fragrance, along with several others in 2025; let’s hope they keep it up for 2026, nothing to complain about. The price is incredible: $20 for something that smells this good is astonishing (mind you, it’s not my favorite). If you want to smell unique but have everyone think you smell good, this is your fragrance. 8/10, it’s not groundbreaking, but it smells very, very good.
Well, here comes my review of this gem. Having worn it my entire workday, I can confirm we’re looking at a true olfactory masterpiece. I absolutely love this DNA; I also own Dubai Night, which has a similar profile to Arabians Tonka—I love both, but they aren’t alike. This one is denser, leaning into oud, loaded with exquisite rose and caramel in the dry down. Dubai Night is a bit less heavy; they toned down those notes, emphasizing the citrus instead, making it more wearable and versatile for daytime, though still very rich. To conclude, this Momento by Riiffs deserves all the hype. It’s worth every penny because here you’ll find the definitive scent of mysterious, attractive sensuality. I don’t know what about this smell has me so infatuated; it seems complicated but isn’t. Women love it, and they love it a lot. If you don’t have it yet, what are you waiting for? Get it soon, do yourself a favor, you won’t regret it.
Well, here’s my take on this perfume jewel. After wearing it all day at work, I can confirm it’s an absolute olfactory marvel. I love this DNA; I also own Dubai Night with that Arabians Tonka profile, and while I adore both, they are distinct. This one is denser, built on oud loaded with roses and caramel, exquisite when it dries down. Dubai Night is less heavy because they toned down those notes, placing more emphasis on citrus, making it more wearable and versatile for daytime, though still rich. I conclude that this Momento de Riffs deserves all the hype; it’s worth every penny because here you find the definitive scent of mysterious, attractive sensuality. I don’t know what’s in this smell that has me head over heels; it seems complicated but it isn’t, giving the impression that it’s hard to wear, but that’s just bad imagination. Women love it. If you don’t have it yet, what are you waiting for? Get it sooner rather than later, do yourself a favor and buy it, you won’t regret it.
This fragrance deserves to be highlighted. I had a decant of Arabians Tonka by Montale a while back and fell in love with the scent. I decided to take a risk on an Arabic dupe, and the Riiffs house didn’t disappoint. I’d say it’s 95% similar, but it leans slightly more masculine, which I like; plus, I feel it’s more wearable and less invasive than Arabians Tonka. Just avoid enclosed spaces when you first apply it because the projection is excellent for the first two hours. It’s ideal for cool and cold climates, and it really shines at night. Longevity hits a perfect 7 hours with great initial projection. The bottle is a jewel, and the atomizer is beautiful. Adding it all up, it’s incredible that this masterpiece costs only about $25.
I picked this up for 20€ and after trying Al Haramain’s Dubai Night, I was blown away by that blend of notes. The saffron rose with that touch of oud seduced me. I looked up info and saw that Momento de Riffs was identical but with better reviews, so I went for this one (plus, it’s half the price). On skin: it’s the same as Dubai Night, but as it dries, Momento leans into the oud while Dubai Night shifts to rose with citrus hints. Momento is darker, whereas Dubai Night is more balanced between fresh and sweet. In the air, it’s impossible to tell them apart. If you bring your nose close, Momento smells better, deeper, and darker. If you’re on the fence, buy whichever is cheaper; you won’t go wrong with either. For now, nothing to say about longevity.
Bought for €20. After trying Dubai Night by Al Haramain, I fell in love with that blend of notes. The saffron rose with that touch of oud was amazing. After researching and seeing that this Momento by Riiffs was similar (and apparently even better), I decided to go for it (partly because the price was half). First impressions upon spraying: it’s identical to Dubai Night, with the particularity that this Momento dries down into oud, while Amber Dubai leans toward rose with citrus touches. Momento is darker, whereas Dubai Night is more balanced between fresh and sweet. In the air, you can’t tell them apart. Up close, Momento feels higher quality, deeper, and darker. If you’re unsure, go for the cheaper one; you won’t be disappointed. As for longevity, I can’t comment yet, to be fair.
I’ve tried both Momento de Riffs and Arabians Tonka. The opening does have different nuances, with Arabians being better. As for the dry down, I’d say they’re 95% identical. Both project a ton, more so with Arabians, but Momento doesn’t fall short. And regarding longevity, it makes no sense for either of them. I woke up 18 hours after spraying Momento de Riffs (including hand hygiene) and could still smell that sugary rose note. Insane. For the price, they’ve created an incredible dupe of a fragrance that’s notoriously difficult to clone when it comes to potency and performance.
A very well-structured Arabic fragrance, quite oriental and spicy (as expected), and one of the few that does it right; it smells great and is very well-balanced. This Arabic scent is a 10. Riiffs, you really know your stuff.
Look, reading all these reviews, I don’t share the majority’s opinion. I was hugely disappointed. The bottle is a masterpiece—one of the most beautiful and elegant designs out there—but either I got a fake (which I doubt) or something’s just off. It didn’t last even an hour on my skin, with zero sillage and a completely flat scent from the opening all the way to the dry down. Plus, the scent itself doesn’t blow me away; I think it’s getting more hype than it deserves. I’ll let it macerate and see what happens. Hopefully, I can give a more positive review later.
I’ve tried both Momento de Riffs and Arabians Tonka. The opening notes are different, with Arabians being superior. Once they dry down, they’re 95% identical. Both project incredibly, though Arabians is stronger; Momento doesn’t fall short. The longevity is insane: I woke up 18 hours after spraying Momento (even after washing my hands) and could still smell that sugary rose note. For the price, they’ve created an incredible dupe of a fragrance that’s notoriously hard to clone in terms of power and performance.
