A beautiful perfume, both in scent and packaging. As a collector, I know that love often starts with the sight, even if it’s ironic to look for it in a perfume. Rarely does a bottle fascinate me while disappointing the contents, but this captivated me instantly. The ruby bottle, mimicking crystal, made me feel like I was in a fairy tale, and its silver crown cap left me speechless. It was my second Van Cleef & Arpels discovery; I realized this jewelry house is also a master of perfumery. I bought it blind due to the initial crush and was blown away by the fragrance. The top notes are a natural explosion of blackberry, lychee, raspberry, and pink pepper. I’m not usually a fan of red fruits as they often bother me, but here they blend finely and I’ve become a fan. Then, in the heart, peony, freesia, peach, and a powdery iris that softens the juicy fruitiness. In the base, I detect musk, violet, cedar, and sandalwood. It’s timeless: perfect for spring-summer with light sprays day and night, and for fall-winter with more intensity. It’s elegant, refined, yet powerful; you have to watch the dosage. Sillage, projection, and longevity are 9/10: strong for 5 hours and moderate for another 3. It delivers on longevity. Literally, it’s a fairy-tale ruby containing another gem: its fragrance. Highly recommended.

It’s timeless: in spring-summer a few sprays work all day and night while in fall-winter it shines with more intensity. It’s elegant refined yet powerful; you need to watch the dosage. I must confess, I’ve been dying to try this bottle for a while now. It’s absolutely wonderful. I wasn’t in Buenos Aires, so when I finally spotted it at my usual store, I jumped right in to test it, knowing that even if the scent didn’t click, I’d still buy it. On paper, it felt more pleasant than Feerie EDP (which I already own); it’s very fruity and fresh, quite light. But on skin, it was different: it kept that fruity freshness while introducing freesia and peony with very citrusy notes (probably thanks to the high-quality lemon, orange, and bergamot), giving it a denser body. It’s a fragrance that doesn’t overpower; the projection is moderate but it blooms slowly from the skin and lingers all day. On me, it evolves like this for about 7 hours. From here, I stand by Feerie Rubis above the negative reviews on Fragrantica in English. A fragrance for personal enjoyment.

Super complex, minimalist bottle, beautiful, natural, fresh, zero artificiality, fruity but not overwhelming. The fruit cocktail is perfectly balanced, with each note taking its turn during the 8-hour longevity. It gradually reveals delicious aromas. So natural and pleasant, at a wonderful price and completely unique. If you want to smell different and stop smelling like the generic crowd with Carolina Herrera or Paco Rabanne, this is your perfume.

It’s very similar to Cacharel’s Noa… I love it!
