Blind buy and totally worth it. I love citrus perfumes, but during my pregnancy I could only handle this kind of scent. Plus, I was already getting tired of neroli, so after reading a bit about it, I grabbed it without hesitation… what a great decision! I’ve worn it for months, and despite my rhinitis leaving my sense of smell quite blocked, I can confidently say it’s a masterpiece. The citrus opening is super energetic and luminous, and as it dries down with its floral notes and a touch of sweetness, it absolutely fascinates me. It feels elegant and versatile, perfect for everyday wear or something more formal. It’s not a perfume with grand pretensions, and some might see it as ‘simple’, but I think it’s very well constructed and everything fits perfectly. Very happy with Neroli Amara.
A total blind buy success. There were few citrus scents I liked, but during my pregnancy, it was the only one I could tolerate. I loved neroli, so after reading about this one, I decided to buy it… what a great choice! I’ve been wearing it for months, and even though my rhinitis has wrecked my sense of smell, I dare to say it’s a masterpiece. The initial citrus burst is energizing and luminous, and its dry down with floral notes and a touch of sweetness fascinates me. It’s elegant and versatile, perfect for daily wear or something a bit more formal. It doesn’t have high pretensions, and some might call it ‘simple,’ but it’s very well constructed and blended, with nothing out of place. Very happy with Neroli Amara.
First impression is interesting: it opens with that sparkling neroli everyone knows, but after a while you notice it has real depth. It lasted forever—over 10 hours—and as always, to last that long, other notes have to take over. Gradually it turns floral, with a sweet touch and a musky creaminess… the good part is that even as the neroli blends more over time, it stays present throughout the entire development. Reviews say it’s very similar to Felur Narcotique, which has peony and smells like fresh, sweet rose, which matches what I’m sensing. The only thing I need to retest is that while I didn’t notice it outdoors, indoors I did catch a slight sillage fatigue… though I also tested Kalan and it could be contamination, but the fatigue makes sense because, as I said, it performed incredibly well.
As a citrus scent, it’s just amazing; the ingredient balance makes the citrus notes the stars. I’m hooked: out of all my perfumes, this one has something special and addictive.
