Joe Jonas fronts Inspire, the new Kenneth Cole fragrance
Kenneth Cole launches Inspire with a Joe Jonas musical campaign. Christine Hassan created this eau de toilette of citrus, aromatics and cedar.
Joe Jonas does more than pose with a bottle in the campaign for Inspire, the new men’s fragrance from Kenneth Cole. He also sings. The brand chose a ballad and a spot with plenty of humor to present this eau de toilette, launched in the United States on September 22.

A song that pokes fun at fragrance ads
Directed by Anthony Mandler, the film exaggerates the solemnity and seduction typical of fragrance advertising. Jonas performs an original song backed by a choir made up of several versions of himself. The singer, the brand’s new global ambassador, took part in developing the campaign.
The composition by Christine Hassan
The perfumer is Christine Hassan, of Givaudan. Inspire is presented as a woody aromatic: bergamot, lemon and grapefruit in the top; rosemary, cypress and black pepper in the heart; cedar, oakmoss and amber in the base.
The bottle combines dark glass with angular facets and a textured cap with a metallic finish. The white letters of Inspire sit near the base, above the Kenneth Cole name. The cuts in the glass and the contrast with the cap define its design.
US launch and three sizes
The launch begins at Nordstrom Rack and a selection of Nordstrom stores. The eau de toilette range offers 100 ml for 75 dollars, 30 ml for 35 dollars and a 10 ml travel spray for 18 dollars. These are US market prices.
After the US launch, the brand plans to expand distribution to other markets.
