  What a surprise! I love the simplicity of this collection; intimate and fresh scents. I own Nuit Tatami and this smells different. It has an oriental air with sweet saffron and incense plus that typical powdery musky touch found in Kenzo. If they told me it was by Lattafa or Afnan, I’d believe it. If you find Arabic perfumes too much, maybe this will suit you. I’m a bit saturated, so the saffron has to be well-balanced for me to enjoy it.

  Pleasantly surprised. I wasn’t familiar with the Kenzo line, but my curiosity in perfumery made me try it. First came the incense, the dominant note. Then I noticed the leather, undeclared but very present. The dry down is leather and sweet incense with a subtle saffron. Reminded me of Tom Ford’s Ombré Leather, but more delicate and unisex.

  I’ve been hunting for this for ages because of my love for incense. It’s pure unisex but demands character; it suits me perfectly without crossing into ‘alpha male’ territory. Elegant opening with heavy incense that settles into a sweet floral trail, probably freesia. Not for the young; it calls for formality and doesn’t work with casual wear. It smells like leather even though it’s not listed. The bottle is minimalist. I imagine this is how Japanese perfumes smell, with that mystical Asian vibe. Watch out, don’t buy blind—it strays far from usual scents.
