A total hit buying it blind; exactly what I expected but even better. The mimosa and musk shine, with the zen touch of lotus and the creamy-spicy vibe of sandalwood. It’s soft and relaxing; at first, you notice more wood, then it settles into a very musky floral. Highly recommended. If you like Prada Infusion d’Amande, Infusion d’Iris, or Zara Msk, you might like this, but Rêve Lotus is more aquatic than marine.

A great blind buy, exactly what I expected but better. The mimosa and musk stand out with the fresh, zen touch of the lotus and the creamy-spicy note of the sandalwood. It’s soft and relaxing; at first, the wood is more noticeable, then it settles into a floral, very musky dry down. Highly recommended. If you like Prada Infusion d’Amande, Infusion d’Iris, and Zara Musk, you might like this. But Reve Lotus is more aquatic (not marine).

  • Buying this with confidence; it absolutely blows me away. If you love lotus for its green, woody notes, you’ll adore this because that aspect is so prominent. If you’re not a fan, give it a try, but it might not wow you. To me, it sounds like Eastern philosophy: fresh, malleable water against dry, warm wood—a luxurious harmony that makes sense since wood has life while growing. I detect two phases: a green, aquatic lotus floral like a calm pond, followed by a woody dry-down reminiscent of dry reed and cedar. It’s not for everyone, like most lotus scents. Lasted about 6 hours on my skin, though I didn’t wear it. It feels summery due to the freshness but holds up in winter thanks to the wood, which is very relaxing. Is ‘Rêve Lotus’ ‘Lotus Dream’? Absolutely. It’s super zen, as another reviewer said. The perfumer was inspired by the Japanese lotus, that dreamy flower blending water’s fluidity with the delicacy of freshly opened petals. Kezo adds it’s a memory of happy walks, clouds reflected in a pond, wrapped in mimosa and white musk for infinite comfort, with a trail of sandalwood and ambroxan.

  • This will be among my next purchases; I’m totally hooked. First, you have to like lotus, with its green, woody aquaticity, because there’s a lot of it. If you don’t, it’s interesting to know about, but it probably won’t dazzle you. I see it as Eastern philosophy: water (moving, soft, fresh) and wood (dry, hard, warm) in harmony. They aren’t so opposed; the wood has vital juices, so they fit conceptually. I notice a green, aquatic, fresh but soothed lotus floral phase, like pond water, and a woody phase, like dry reed with cedar. It’s not for everyone, like almost everything with lotus. In terms of perfume longevity, it surely lasted 6 hours, but I didn’t wear it. It seems like summer due to the freshness, but it handles winter thanks to the woody side that balances and relaxes. Does ‘Rêve lotus’ mean ‘lotus dream’? It makes sense. It’s very zen. Kenzo says it’s a call to daydreaming and contemplation, with cotton flowers, mimosa, and white musk for skin comfort. Perfumer Quentin Bisch was inspired by the texture play of the Japanese lotus: the fluidity of water and the powdery delicacy of the petals.

Pure definition: simplicity and minimalism. A rich yet easy-to-love composition, ideal for anyone seeking something subtle but charming. It smells very clean and white, floral with a creamy sandalwood touch, then the white musk emerges. I imagine a crystal-clear pond in Japan, a woman in a white cotton dress gently touching the water. The longevity leaves something to be desired, but I understand why given this style. I liked it, though I wouldn’t wear it myself as I see it as very feminine; however, on a woman, it’s incredible. Recommended.

The definition is simplicity and minimalism. A rich, easy-to-love composition for those seeking something subtle with a charming touch. It’s very clean and white, floral with a creamy nuance from the sandalwood, then the white musk emerges. It brings to mind a crystal-clear pond in Japan, a woman in a white cotton dress touching the water. I admit the longevity leaves something to be desired, but I understand why given this style. I liked it, though I wouldn’t wear it myself—it’s so feminine—but on a woman, it smells incredible. Recommended.

It smells just like a limited edition Mercadona released for Mother’s Day. I can’t remember the name. It came in a lilac batch with a matching fan. Verissime in lilac; I don’t recall the last name.

  • I was disappointed; I bought it blind based on the review. A subtle musky lotus scent, with mimosa noticeable at first, and that’s it. After that, nothing. After 9 hours, it’s barely there. Very floral for unisex. I trusted myself with other Kenzo fragrances that at least stand out for longevity on my skin. Too expensive for what it offers. In this case, I feel like I threw my money away.

  • I was hooked by the lotus flower, which I always choose without realizing it. It has that aquatic and musky touch that makes it delicate, clean, and minimalist. Within seconds, the mimosa kicks in and it gets strong; that’s the only reason I don’t wear it daily—it overwhelms me a bit and gives me a headache. But the opening and the blend are special. I wear it in winter and fall because it lingers on wool, though it works for summer nights too, although the mimosa makes it invasive and sweet. It’s ethereal due to the lotus and aquatic, yet intense thanks to the mimosa’s sweetness that makes it innocent.

  • It doesn’t last even half an hour, which is strange because the others do. The scent is beautiful, but it was already hard to smell in the store. After an hour, it’s barely a memory. Nothing like other Kenzo fragrances that, even if I don’t like them, last 12 hours on me.

  • I had it on hold; I got a decant when I bought Memori Encens Lumiere. I picked it up for 2×1 in Argentina, so I didn’t hesitate. It’s not masculine at all, though I don’t really believe in gender boundaries; it smells sweet, like a woman’s scent, but it tastes good. It’s very linear: you smell a lot of lotus at the opening, then it dries down sweet. Minimalist trail, exactly what the Memori series aims for. Lasts about 4 hours easily, then another 3 close to the skin. It’s a soft, sugary scent, the opposite of ‘alpha male,’ more tender and sweet. Relaxing, so I like wearing it at home.

  • It was on my wishlist; I got a decant as a gift when buying Memori Encens Lumiere and picked it up for 2×1 in Argentina without hesitation. It’s not masculine at all—I know gender isn’t real, but it smells super sweet, like a woman! And despite that, it smells delicious. It’s very linear: you notice the lotus at first, then it settles into a sweet scent. The trail is minimalist, just what this collection is looking for. It lasts about 4 hours easily, then another 3 close to the skin. It’s a soft sweetness, the opposite of ‘alpha male,’ more on the tender side. It relaxes me a lot, so I wear it at home.
