  I love this Lolita, though less than its sister, Elle L’Aime. The citrus opening passes quickly, lacking that potent coconut note, and goes straight to a light ylang-ylang with a heart of sandalwood, amber, and myrrh that wraps around you. It’s a scent I really enjoy and is more wearable than the other one outside of summer. But the low longevity and lack of coconut make me miss its older sister. Even though I like it, I won’t repurchase. Scent 7/10, Longevity 5/10, Sillage 7/10, Value 5/10, Versatility 6/10, Packaging 9/10. Would I buy it again? No.

  What a beautiful perfume! It clings to skin and clothes so much. It’s very similar to the original, but this is way sweeter, almost to the point of being cloying, so use it with respect. It’s floral, sweet, and elegant—just enchanting! Because of its sweetness, it’s perfect for fall/winter or cool nights. Unfortunately, it’s discontinued… if you find it and love it like this, don’t think twice, just buy it!

  I’m not sure how to rate this without thinking of Samsara, even though they’re worlds apart. At first, it smells like the Guerlain masterpiece. Then, that golden hit of sandalwood and ylang-ylang blends with amber, hinting at myrrh and a citrus (mandarin and bergamot) that refreshes without stealing the show. It’s more contained, dense, mature, and nocturnal than the EDP—far from the brand’s fairytale woods, but with that classic Parisian touch.
