This was my first oriental fragrance: so captivating and deep that I wore it at home. It was a miniature gift from my sister when I was a child. It transported me to the East, like in David Lean’s movies; with that whimsical age, it made me dream of mysterious places and secrets waiting to be discovered. It was my gateway to bold scents, and I loved it. Today, I’d kill for a bottle of this great elixir—a truly special fragrance from a house less pretentious than the big names, yet in my opinion, it still kicks the socks off many modern oriental perfumes. I wish I could have it again!
I had a miniature of this perfume back in ’96, and I remember that at the time, this olfactory family wasn’t really to my taste. But I wore it because the man who is now my husband absolutely loved smelling it. What memories!
