Descripción
Daisy Wild by Marc Jacobs is a women's fragrance from the floral family. Launched in 2024, this composition was created by Sonia Constant, Roxanne Kirkpatrick, and Adriana Medina-Baez. The top notes feature the freshness of banana flower; the heart reveals the elegance of jasmine and the creaminess of macadamia; while the base settles on the warm wood of vetiver and sandalwood.

If you’re looking for that little banana scent found in Perfume Intense or Divine Decadence, forget it. I was disappointed. It smells nice, generic, sugary, and very trendy. The opening is promising, but the dry-down is super generic. A fragrance that passes without making much of an impression.
I loved the opening—it’s citrusy and floral, different from the rest of Marc Jacobs. But once it dries down, it smells just like any other fragrance from the brand…
I liked it a lot, but the longevity on skin is scarce, around four hours, with very little projection.
Smelled it at the airport and it’s so good. To me, it smells like super sugared gum, a total gourmand scent. 💚
It’s like a banana candy with green notes—creamy, fruity, and very spring-like. Reminded me of Versace Eros Pour Femme EDT; same vibe and they’re very similar.
Exquisite for spring. Doesn’t resemble Perfect at all. The bottle is gorgeous. Lasts 4-5 hours on skin with moderate projection and sillage.
Bought it blind because of the hype. Saw the box at an airport without testers, so I looked for it on Vinted. Upon testing, the opening smelled like banana for 5 seconds, then turned green and sweet (like sugar). Sold it the same day. Not for me, but I think my expectations were off.
Tested on paper and skin: starts strong and sweet, then softens into a clean, floral vibe typical of Daisy. Lasts about 3 hours on skin, maybe a bit longer on clothes. It’s a shame because it smells delicious, but I wouldn’t buy it due to the poor longevity and price; I’d only try it if I found it cheap. It lasts about two hours longer than Daisy Love.
This happened because I tested it on my skin right away without reading the notes. I had no idea what the plantain flower smelled like, but the opening seemed like a sweet, verdant type of Claudie Plum that barely lasted a few minutes. Then the plantain came through, but not the fruit, which could have been fun, but rather a bright yellow banana gummy covered in sugar, which was awful. In Daisy Wild, there’s nothing of the original Daisy, which I happily wore for most of my twenties; they don’t even share any notes, which confirms my suspicions about flanker marketing: they’re not variations, but a cash grab on success, a scam.
Let me start by saying Marc Jacobs has been a huge letdown for me. The ones I’ve tried seem okay but never blew my mind. Also, almost all the Daisys left something to be desired in performance. And yet, they’re designer perfumes that retail between $75 and $80 in stores, so there’s no excuse to be lax with their longevity, sillage, and projection. Anyway, I got to try this launch, which for some reason I couldn’t comprehend wasn’t easy to find. Hype? I don’t know, but the truth is there are samples in stores but not the actual bottle. Very strange… I already had my mind made up and knew their argument was the plantain flower, which comes out beautifully and very green, super green. That’s a good move because a banana-flower scent dressed up as gourmand wouldn’t have worked with their audience. The problem is this opening lasts less than a lollipop at a school gate. You can perceive the white floral part, but not the macadamia (a pity) which quickly blends with the vetiver and sandalwood base. This gives it a truly unisex vibe. It reminds me of my Balenciaga Florabotanica, now discontinued, which had a similar fleeting greenness, but I wouldn’t replace it with this; it goes in a different direction. As I said, it’s restrained and not a projector, but for the season it’s made for (spring-summer), it doesn’t feel heavy. It doesn’t overwhelm in the heat. In the dry-down, the vetiver is quite noticeable; it’s not rustic or earthy (which I prefer), but more of a clean, musky vetiver. I think it’s a fairly interesting Daisy, one that abandons very quickly the note that makes it special (Plantain Flower), and at a price that I find too high for what it is. Cheers. I tried it on blotter paper and I loved it at first. I thought it was delicious and original, so I kept the little paper in my pocket. A while later, I smelled it again and thought, ‘bah, I already have this…’ What does it remind me of? It seemed like My Way. It has vibes of that perfume, and considering it costs $160… I’ll stick with my My Way, happy as can be.
I tried it in a perfumery and it smelled like a melon and watermelon smoothie to me. It’s a pleasant scent, I’d like to own it, but I’m not sure if it’s worth the price and the longevity.
I tried a sample once and already tested it in perfumeries because I like the bottle, which feels original and fresh. But those times I didn’t notice the banana mentioned in reviews. After wearing it for a while, it hit me that it smells like something I already own (My Way). I checked and I’m not the only one. It’s strange because the notes don’t match either. It seems to have low projection, but I’ve been sniffing it for hours. On skin it didn’t last long, but generally I don’t get long-lasting scents, especially soft or fresh ones. On clothes, however, it lasted all day. I want to compare both to see if they really are that similar.
I tried it on a sample once and also in perfumeries because I love the bottle; it looks original and pretty. The curious thing is that I’ve never smelled that plantain note mentioned in the reviews. After wearing it for a while, it started reminding me of something I already own (My Way). I’ve seen the reviews, and I’m not the only one. It’s strange because the notes don’t match that much either. It seems like it doesn’t project much, but I’ve been smelling it on myself for several hours. It didn’t last long on my skin, but that’s true for me in general, especially with soft or fresh scents. On clothes, though, it was very long-lasting: it lasted all day. I want to compare both fragrances to see if they really are that similar.
Well, it’s okay, I guess. It’s one of those perfumes that should work in theory, but on my skin, it does nothing and doesn’t last at all. Maybe I’ll give it another try, but the last time it didn’t blow my mind, so I won’t spend that money again. Maybe my nose was just saturated. Will an edit come out saying I love it? Maybe. For now, it’s a fragrance that passes without making much of an impression. What is beautiful, though, is the bottle, with those flower stems inside. Absolutely yes. More weird bottles, please.
What a crazy bottle! I truly love it; it’s amazing in so many ways… but I’m disappointed that it only lasts about 3 hours on my skin and that it’s so expensive. I’d rather stick with Lolitaland, which is gorgeous and lasts at least 10 hours.
Bottle madness! I absolutely love it, it’s incredible, but I’m disappointed it fades in just three hours and is so pricey. I’d rather stick with Lolitaland, which is gorgeous and lasts at least 10 hours.
Is it delicious? Yes, until you realize it smells like Bagio multifruit. At first, right when you spray it, it smells like pure, fresh banana, like a tropical smoothie. But it only lasted 4 hours. After that, it started smelling like a generic perfume. I’d say it’s for people under 30.
Honestly, I loved it so much. It’s perfect for summer, delicious, super fresh and sweet, with that fruity touch. I’m really happy with this scent. And the packaging? Spectacular, in the classic Marc Jacobs style.
Honestly, I loved it! Perfect for summer, delicious, super fresh and sweet with fruity notes. I’m thrilled with this scent. The packaging is spectacular, just like all of Marc’s.
If you love perfumes like Armani’s My Way or Marc Jacobs’ Perfect, you’ll definitely like this Daisy Wild. It’s not a clone, but it walks that path. At first, it’s super sweet, but then it fades in intensity. What stands out most is the jasmine and the plantain flower. Note: it smells like plantain flower, not banana. If you’re looking for a fruity scent, you’ll be disappointed because the fruit note is very subtle, almost imperceptible. What it does have is that green, wild touch, like after a storm in the jungle, with lots of flowers in bloom. It’s different from previous Daisys because of that intense green that’s even noticeable in the bottle. I think it’s a beautiful, innocent, fresh, feminine, and carefree aroma. Perfect for spring and summer. The projection becomes intimate over time, so it’s better to apply it on clothes to make it last longer; on fabric, it lasted about 6 to 7 hours.
If you like perfumes like Armani My Way, Marc Jacobs Perfect, or Prada Paradox, you’ll probably like this. Daisy Wild isn’t a dupe, but it fits that line. It’s super sweet at first, then mellows out. Highlights the jasmine and banana flower. It doesn’t smell like banana, but rather the banana flower (with a very slight touch of ripe fruit). Smells green, fresh, like a jungle after rain with flowers. It’s distinct from previous Daisys due to that intense green note (like the bottle). Seems cute, innocent, fresh, feminine, and uncomplicated. Ideal for spring/summer. Projection starts strong but becomes intimate over time (better on clothes to last longer). Lasts 6-7 hours on clothes.
I read reviews complaining about the trail and longevity; they’re right. What happens is that I, I love this perfume (just like almost all of Marc Jacobs), and I don’t care if it doesn’t project. It’s my personal enjoyment. I love the sweet opening; it’s glorious, even if it fades quickly.
I’m loving this perfume. I love its trail and longevity. For wearing all day, it’s not an aroma that tires or becomes cloying. It’s sweet, but also fresh. I love it for the beach. It’s one of my favorites in my collection.
Smells like artificial banana
It’s a very fruity perfume. And no, it doesn’t smell like banana. In fact, it smelled mostly like melon, even apple. A round Gala melon, those orange or white ones on the inside. It feels very much in the vibe of Be Delicious by DKNY. It’s not as fresh as they say; it’s pure fruit with flowers. It has a sweet spot, but of ripe fruit. I can imagine there are many more notes than declared. The macadamia in the heart note really isn’t something I find/understand. I think it should go very well in summer; I’m testing it in autumn and it doesn’t suit me at all. It’s between summer and spring, and it has a fairly youthful air. Overall, I’ve liked it. I don’t think anyone would dislike it. I’d gift it to a girl in her early twenties, cheerful and carefree.
I feel a tropical juice, something green, not banana but the flower. It’s soft, doesn’t last very long, but it’s an aroma I haven’t felt in other perfumes.
It saddens me that, loving Perfect and others by MJ, this one turns out to be so bad, considering how beautiful the bottle is. Fresh, yes, somewhat tropical, but it gives me the sensation of taking my dog to the garden and peeing; there’s something acidic and sharp that, combined with the green notes, makes it impossible for me to use. I’ve tried it twice in-store and still haven’t managed to like it.
I tried it by chance at the airport because the packaging was cute, and I fell in love. It’s a perfect perfume for summer; it feels fresh and clean but without losing its sweet and addictive quality. Personally, I felt it was very fruity (even though it’s not listed in the notes) and absolutely no banana scent. It’s really a perfume you need to try before buying, because although I don’t think anyone could dislike it, its aroma has nothing to do with the listed notes. 9/10
It’s one of my favorite perfumes. I’m a man, but I prefer floral and fruity fragrances usually associated with women. This is a perfect balance because it has a delicious aroma but isn’t cloying, ideal for both men and women. The bottle and presentation are very pretty, and it’s a note combination for everyday wear, unlike the Elixir or Absolute by Marc Jacobs, which feel more like they’re for special or elegant occasions.
I love this perfume. I tried it at a store and fell in love; I’m buying my second bottle. It’s fresh, sweet, but not cloying, floral, and glorious. Perfect for spring and summer.
Taste is subjective. I went to the mall’s perfume shop looking for my beloved Daisy Dream; my mom gave it to me years ago, and since I was almost out, I checked if they had it. The clerk mentioned it’s hard to find in Argentina, which made me sad, but she recommended trying other Daisys. I tried the original first, and it’s the one I like least because it turns sour on me, so I asked her to show me the others instead. She brought out a whole bunch of Daisys, and I started testing them until I found this one 🥹. It’s delicious; I feel it has the same soul as the original but is sweeter, fruity, with a hint of freshly cut grass and floral—it lives up to its name. Personally, I loved it. It reminds me a bit more of the D Dream, but sweeter, so I’m happy 😁. It lasts quite a while, more than 7 hours, and is ideal for hot days because it’s light but leaves a trail; several people have complimented it on me. Personally, I don’t smell banana leaf or fruit, but there’s a note that reminds me of something like that, I just can’t identify which one. If you want a rich, light, fresh scent and like Daisy flankers, I recommend this perfume 🩷💚💛
