To me, it’s a fusion of all the Kaiaks in the opening, very similar to Océano and Ultra mixed with Aero and Vital. Later, it turns floral like Aventura. On my skin, it has good longevity. I don’t like the Kaiak line, but because of this blend, it’s wearable and fresh—not as suffocating as Océano is on my skin!!

  • It’s an aquatic floral. You barely put it on and you feel the marine notes; for me, that’s what dominates the start. Then the flowers come out. It’s a blend between Kaiak Aventura and Kaiak Océano. Who is it for? Anyone who enjoys aquatic perfumes. Longevity is 3-4 hours, with a strong sillage and potency for the first hour.

I’ve been testing it for a few days. It has the DNA of all the Kaiaks. It starts with a citrus and aquatic opening, then the violets come through, mixed with salt and marine notes to create a base that doesn’t quite please me, like stagnant fruit water. It doesn’t add much; it’s just a clone of Kaiak Océano.

  • It’s marine, maybe similar to JPG’s Divine. I’m not sure if it’s just my perception or if they really are the same, but I own both and to me, they’re identical. It smells salty and sweet. People have praised it a lot, and it’s not overwhelming. It’s actually a really good dupe of Divine.

  • Perfumadict

It has that salty marine touch of JPG’s Divine, just a bit softer. Still, it gives me a strong aversion and makes my stomach turn.

  • Perfumadict

It has that salty marine vibe from Gaultier’s Divine, but way more subtle; honestly, it still gives me the creeps and makes my stomach turn.

  • I put a drop on my forearm, washed it off with soap, sprayed another perfume over it, and the smell still persisted 😹. It would be great if I liked it, but I don’t. I came to check the notes and now I know why: it has so many flowers that linger on my skin until the next day, omg, I hate them 🤣. The opening is rich, but that floral base isn’t for me.

  • I was hoping to smell a salty note on my skin, but there wasn’t any. I only detect a very faint metallic aroma. It’s not offensive, and I don’t hate it, but it’s just an inoffensive fragrance. I wouldn’t buy it again.

  • MartuFragances

I would never buy this. I got it as a gift for a trade, and it reminds me of Ekos Flor de Luar or Flores Flutuantes: it smells like stagnant water with that gross green bug scent you get when you squish it. None of the Kaiak line works for me; I think those marine notes just aren’t my thing. Kaiak Orange smells like men’s shaving foam, and I don’t like Divine, La Belle Paradise Garden, or Fleur Terrible either, even though they’re similar—they just don’t fit my style.

  • Totally unisex; my husband wears it and gets lots of attention. Smells fresh and marine, perfect for summer. Just a heads-up: I recommend testing it before buying.

Kaiak Sonar by Natura is an aromatic aquatic fragrance for men. Launched in 2024, this creation was designed by Verônica Kato and Adriana Medina-Baez. The top notes reveal a marine and herbaceous composition featuring sea salt, sea algae, calone, lavender, rosemary, lemon, juniper berry, statice, cardamom, marjoram, thyme, apple, black pepper, nutmeg, and black pepper. The heart of the fragrance unfolds metallic and floral nuances thanks to a floralozone, cypress, geranium, valley lily, cypriol, cyclamen, and violet. Finally, the base notes anchor the composition with Atlas cedar, moss, amber, vetiver, balsam fir, musk, patchouli, sandalwood, white birch, incense, and labdanum.

It’s been a classic aquatic men’s scent since 2009. Don’t expect surprises; Natura has better options. It smells very similar to Kaiak Oceano due to the salty notes, but Sonar is more aromatic; the pepper and geranium make it feel generic compared to the marine and fresh vibe of Oceano. Performance is acceptable and the price is good, which is why I give it a thumbs up.

  • byrgertidesson

A good fresh fragrance with a peppery opening and light woods that quickly turn into citrus, icy, and salty. I detect Calone throughout, with a brief pass through geranium, amber, and incense. Being less fresh due to the woods and pepper, it’s less versatile than the other Kaiaks, carrying a shrill touch like Kaiak 02, but while that one is youthful and vibrant, this is a deep, grave shout. Lasts normally, projects regularly (8/10).

Good fresh fragrance. Starts peppery with a touch of Natura and light woods, then shifts to citrus, icy, and salty. The curious thing is that I detect Calone throughout the entire wear, with a brief pass through geranium, amber, and incense. With its woods and pepper, it’s less versatile than the other Kaiaks and gives it a harsh edge, like Kaiak 02, but while 02 is youthful and vibrant, this is a deep, grave shout. Lasts normally, projects regularly. Performance: 8/10.

  • There are better options even within the same line, but it doesn’t smell bad. It delivers if you want something for the heat on a budget, though it’s just fine. I really like it after 4 hours, but to smell it, you have to get within 5cm.

At first, it smells a lot like ADG Profondo, though it’s lower quality and a bit synthetic. After half an hour, it stops being so aquatic and turns herbal. As it dries down, I swear it’s identical to the first batches of Kaiak Aereo (2018-2019), though with a nod to ADG. It can’t be compared to Kaiak Oceano because I’ve never owned it.

  • OscarVillavicencio

In the opening, it reminds me of ADG Profondo, though of lower quality and a bit synthetic. After half an hour, it feels less aquatic and more herbal, drying down to an identical finish as the first Kaiak Aereo (2018-2019). Although it has ADG echoes, it doesn’t compare to Kaiak Oceano, which I’ve never tried.

  • PabloAlejandro

I tried it and in the opening it’s very similar to Oceano; you can smell the algae, though less intense, then it turns woody and floral. I decided to buy it because I tested it while swimming and it held up well during the class with chlorine. After showering with strong soap, upon smelling it, I noticed creamy floral notes that pleasantly surprised me. Cheers.

  • Easy to wear, marine and fresh essence. It’s like a day at the beach. Good quality for a good price. It’s a blue perfume, but certain notes make it feel more mature and ‘opaque’ than the Kaiak Original. I recommend it for hot, daytime wear.

  • Decent in scent, nothing new. Opens with sharp herbal notes, then citrus and metallic with algae, finishing with a woody marine dry-down. These are early tests and only lasted 30 minutes with poor projection, staying close to the skin. I recommend it only if you find it on sale, because it’s nothing new.

I tried it and it smells very much like Oceano; you can detect the algae at the start, though less intensely. Then it becomes woody and floral. I decided to buy it because I tested it in the pool: it held up well during the hour of swimming with all the chlorine. After a shower with strong soap, smelling it revealed creamy floral notes. I was pleasantly surprised by this new Kaiak. Greetings.

  • First impression from a newbie: smells like Issey Miyake’s Majeure and Natura’s K. Fresh and spicy, with pepper and salt on the surface. Need to test it more. Greetings from CDMX.

  • Initially, it’s citrusy and herbal, drying down to Jorge Di Profondo/Blue, similar to Kaiak Oceano but more refined. Yes, it reminds me of ADG Profondo. On skin, it lasted quite a while, but without projection or sillage. I liked it, but it’s redundant and adds nothing new; there’s already a very similar one in the line. If you don’t have anything like Aqua Di Gio Profondo and you buy it on sale, it’s fine, but if you already have similar scents, skip it. Many criticize Natura for prices, but everything is expensive in Argentina; the real criticism is stagnation, repeating formulas. Natura should change its eternal perfumer.

  • At first, it’s citrusy and herbal; as it dries down, it reminds me of Jorge Di Profondo and Blue, similar to Kaiak Oceano but more refined. It also has that ADG Profondo vibe. Lasts well on skin, but lacks projection and sillage. I liked it, but it feels redundant: it doesn’t bring anything new when there’s already a very similar one in the Kaiak line. If you don’t own anything in that ADG Profondo style and catch it on sale, it’s worth it; if you already have several similar ones, better to skip it. People talk a lot about Natura’s prices, but everything is expensive in Argentina. The real issue is that they keep reusing old formulas; I think Natura should change their eternal perfumer.
