It’s a youthful and delicate perfume. I love the opening, especially the gardenia and a slightly burnt sugar note. The negative is the longevity, which is about 4 hours, and the projection is medium-to-low. The bottle is very feminine. Recommended for summer.
Its scent is very rich, feminine, and subtle, with sweet flowers but nothing exaggerated. The bad part is that on my skin, it doesn’t last at all, not even on clothes, what a pity because its aroma is super rich; if it lasted, it would be spectacular.
The first time I tried it in the store, I didn’t like it, but after using it twice with a sample, I thought it was very pretty and it accompanied me pleasantly for a couple of spring mornings. It has a juicy opening of red fruits and mandarin that gives way to one of those natural floral perfumes built around jasmine and gardenia. Although it has sugar, I feel the sweet touch is very light, and the floral part predominates. I don’t notice the patchouli. The downside is its longevity, about 3-4 hours on my skin with a moderate-to-soft trail. It’s a pity that such a beautiful perfume performs so little; it doesn’t seem worth investing in since there are cheaper options that share its style and have better projection and longevity. Scent 7/10 Longevity 3.5/10 Trail 4/10 Value for money 3/10 Versatility 5/10 Packaging 7.5/10 Would I buy again? I didn’t buy it.
To me, it’s a pleasant and simple scent, smelling of lemon balm tea with a flower heavily loaded with sugar, as if they’d poured half a jar of sugar into that tea. It’s a scent I like and find relaxing, like a walk through the garden. It has very little longevity. Scent: 8/10 Longevity: 4/10.
Of the two Gucci Flora Eau de Parfums, this is my favorite. Its citrus and fruity opening turns into a subtle and delicate white floral, accompanied by a sweet touch that doesn’t become cloying. On my skin, it’s a very well-balanced mix of gardenia and jasmine. Although by the name you’d expect the gardenia to dominate, here the jasmine carries its weight. Compared to its sibling, I feel this one is more youthful, sparkling, and playful. For me, that sweet touch is perfect, since compared to Gorgeous Jasmine, I prefer the gardenia. It’s an ideal perfume for spring and summer, for eating out with friends or going shopping. But it has a major flaw: it doesn’t last on my skin at all; it’s exaggeratedly short, reaching only 4 hours. For the price, I’d appreciate if it lasted longer and had a stronger trail. While it’s not super novel, I find it very beautiful. I have to admit I like it so much that I have a refill, reapplying every 4 hours. I’d describe its trail as medium fading to low in less than 30 minutes. In summary, if you like fruity floral perfumes with a sweet touch, you’ll love it, but keep in mind you’ll have to reapply, as it might last a lucky 4 hours on the skin. I have the previous EDT version and they are barely different, almost imperceptible, though I feel this one is a bit sweeter and fruitier, and in terms of longevity, they are almost the same. I don’t know why, but I find it super youthful; I think anyone from age 19 onwards could wear it.
Like all the reviews, it’s delicious and I love its aroma, BUT it doesn’t last at all, which is a shame because it smells so good.
Of all the ones I’ve tried, this is my favorite version of Flora. It smells delicious, like a white floral with a slightly gourmand touch from the red fruits, sweet from the fruity note but without losing its clean and floral character. It reminds me of a pale pink powder soap scented with gardenia flowers and sugared red berries. You can also detect that touch of sweet pear; I’m sure it’s from the pear blossom.
It smells great but doesn’t last at all.
It’s a very rich, feminine, and totally floral scent; I don’t notice the fruit, but something about it makes me get extremely dizzy when I wear it (maybe the gardenia and jasmine notes are to blame) because I can’t tolerate it for more than 30 minutes. What a pity.
This fragrance has a soul, for real. I put it on, and after three or four hours, it seems to evaporate from my skin, but it clings to my clothes like crazy, lasting hours and hours. There’s something special about it, I swear, because by the end of the day, I can still smell it as if I just applied it. I don’t know what’s going on; I adore its scent but hate how fleeting it is. However, people around me suddenly start smelling it. I don’t know if it’s the weather or what, but seriously, our relationship is the most toxic: I hate it, but I refuse to let it go.
The first thing I notice when spraying it is the sweetness of the pear, followed by the floral bouquet with the gardenia that gives it its name and the jasmine, all with a touch of brown sugar. It’s floral and sweet but not annoying, ideal for spring and summer (and even in the cold). I love the floral design of the box and the bottle; it smells nice and is very decorative.
I got this as a gift from abroad and was very disappointed because it lasts nothing on my skin. It smells in the bottle’s atomizer, but as soon as I put it on my skin, it disappears. What a letdown.
You can definitely smell the flowers and brown sugar strongly at first, though it ends up being soft. I liked it, but if you’re not into floral and sweet perfumes, this isn’t for you.
What a cool perfume. It smells gorgeous—very pleasant and sweet but not overpowering, because the sugar blends beautifully with the flowers to create something unique. It’s sweet, innocent, and delicate, almost childish, like those Disney or Pixar movies everyone loves. The downside is that it doesn’t last; you can only smell it for a couple of hours, and then it’s gone. What a pity it’s so beautiful.
It smells divine. The flowers combined with brown sugar give a sweet and pleasant scent, nothing cloying, and it has that incredible clean smell without losing elegance. The only thing I noticed is that after four hours, it’s completely gone. It is expensive, yes, but it’s worth it because it smells amazing.
It’s ideal for spring or summer with that sweet, elegant floral touch that reminds me of when my mother would get ready and I’d sneak into her room. The opening is a bit harsh, but then the sweetness comes out along with a fine patchouli that adds sophistication. It works great in the heat, but in the cold, it doesn’t last more than two hours.
It smells like sweet, delicious flowers, like bubblegum, and it’s hard to imagine anyone disliking it. The only downside is that I have to literally empty the bottle for it to last two hours and have any sillage; it’s a shame because the scent is so good.
I absolutely loved the bottle; it looks very vintage, and the scent is soft, perfect as my signature fragrance. However, IT DOESN’T LAST AT ALL and is way too expensive for such poor performance. I’m looking for something similar that lasts longer because this one fades in two hours if I’m lucky, even after emptying the whole bottle. I found a cheaper dupe with slightly better longevity: Haya by Lattafa. This one lasts about three hours and smells very similar.
Finally, girls, I’m free from that thing that smells like synthetic berries and wrinkled tangerine from the grocery store! I’m usually very forgiving with perfumes, but with Flora Gorgeous Gardenia, I couldn’t find a single positive point, so I gifted it away. At first, it smells like strawberry gum and horrible white flowers, as if a teenager spat out a jasmine and brown sugar infusion just to look old. In the end, only the brown sugar remains, which they claim is ‘classy’ and different, but it’s just more sugar, accompanied by a plasticized patchouli that smells like made in China. This is what Gucci is like now: plastic frills sold at absurd prices. The bottle looks vintage but is poorly made, lasts barely three hours, and I don’t recommend it even a little bit.
What can I say about this perfume? I liked it, but it’s not a masterpiece. It smells like flowers, fruits, and sugar, and on dry skin it acts like a body cream. It’s rich, but the price is completely unjustified; they’re charging for the brand name, not the quality or the scent, wow! It’s great for everyday wear and looks lovely, very coquette style.
I bought a decant and loved it. It’s very subtle, smelling like fresh out of the shower; it makes you want to spray 20 times and feel like you’re in a field of flowers. I love sweet scents, so I’ll buy the full bottle.
It’s a sweet floral scent that’s not cloying, pleasant but not particularly novel; it doesn’t impress olfactorily. The presentation is beautiful; the bottle is meant to be kept on the vanity as decor. In comparisons, it resembles a girl’s cologne quite a bit (and surely lasts longer on skin), so the trail and longevity are a joke for the excessive price.
I tried a decant and was totally disappointed. It smells good, very floral, but nothing original. It could be a good daily option, but it doesn’t last at all; in less than an hour, it’s barely detectable on the skin. For the price, it feels like a rip-off.
Flowers, red fruits, and freshness… a light lactonic touch not listed in the notes, but I definitely feel it on my skin. I love this fragrance; it’s not groundbreaking, but it feels different from the traditional floral-fruity style—it’s not as overdone. The price is high (at least in Mexico) for what it lasts… I have to reapply every 2 hours 😖 and since it’s Gucci, I expected beast mode longevity. I can’t imagine it competing with Viva la Juicy or Tease.
What a pleasant scent. I agree with luxthesailor; it has a slight lactonic hint that gives the floral freshness a nice softness and creaminess. Perfect for everyday wear and the office.
I bought it blindly, excited about the top and heart notes but worried about the patchouli. It’s exquisite, sweet, floral, and very tender. I think the pear note is my favorite, especially with that sugary base. It’s not complex, but I loved it.
I have a sample and kept testing it. To me, it smells like cheap shampoo or bar soap, reminding me of my childhood in a humble neighborhood in Chile—that smell in the bathrooms, from a pink bar soap I can’t recall the brand of. My opinion is biased by those bad memories. Objectively, it smells like flowers with a moderate sweet touch; I don’t detect the fruity notes. It smells ‘clean,’ like you just washed your hands or have wet hair. It’s not a bad scent, but I wouldn’t wear or recommend it because it smells like cheap soap. If you like that kind of smell, go for it! It’s great for spring/summer and daytime, offering freshness despite being a sweet floral.
I agree with Jaxferr; it smells like a little boy’s shampoo, though I can’t remember the name. It’s a rich fragrance, floral but not overwhelming, though it’s not imperceptible—it stands out in its own way. A very pleasant perfume.
It gives me a ‘rich woman’ vibe. I really liked it at first, but at some point it started smelling like an older lady, so I wouldn’t buy it again.
I was looking for a gift and a department store let me smell this perfume, and I fell in love with the scent, totally feminine with a quite rich and refined aroma.
I’m obsessed with this—it’s super fresh and perfect for women aged 24 to 36 because it doesn’t smell like grandma. It’s a lovely scent, like a flower shop without the mustiness; it’s potent at first but quickly settles into something soft and pleasant. I recommend it blindly for a picnic or a garden tea party; it gives off all the right vibes.
I love it. On my skin, it feels fresh and more fruity than floral. It’s feminine, cheerful, and easy to wear daily, especially during the day. I love the dry-down; when it settles, it’s different (like a sweet, soft body cream) and it surprised me. I was finishing work and wondered what my scent would be; when I smelled my wrist, it was me. On skin, it lasts about 8 hours with moderate sillage the first hour and soft sillage the rest. It doesn’t leave a trail, but you can enjoy it when people get close.
The little bottle is gorgeous. The scent is soft; it reminds me of Natura’s red fruit and jasmine line. It’s pleasant and not invasive. It smells clean, easy to wear, very pretty for spring, summer, and maybe early autumn. I love the plumeria note because it adds softness and that body cream scent that some people like. It’s not a masterpiece of perfumery, but it’s a very beautiful and soothing aroma.
When I went to the perfumery to smell this, I picked it out right away to buy soon. It has a floral scent that isn’t cloying, which is why I liked it.
Nice perfume, but I hate Gucci as a brand, and the performance confirms it: I know fragrances that cost five times less and last longer than this.
It smells very much like flowers and makeup, like powder.
It’s the first fragrance I chose for myself, and I have very fond memories of it. It’s ideal for starting with floral scents: it’s light, universal, fresh, and has simple notes that don’t dominate. A perfect option for daily wear if you like these smells and want to save the more impactful ones for special events.
It smells good, simple, and pleasant. It might seem like a scent for an older lady, but that doesn’t bother me. The only reason I wouldn’t buy it is the poor longevity: I apply the sample and it barely lasts minutes; I’ve tried it several times and it’s the same. I don’t know if it’s my skin, but for me, longevity is vital in a perfume, and this isn’t the case. If you’re looking for something more intimate and subtle, it could be a good option.
Flora Gorgeous Gardenia is a sweet, light, milky floral with discreet projection and medium-low longevity, about 3-4 hours. To me, it smells just like Miss Dior Rose’n Roses without the rose: the same creamy floral formula with a sugary touch, although Miss Dior is an EDT that lasts over 7 hours. The good thing is it smells great; it’s feminine, relaxed, and versatile, and the packaging is gorgeous. The bad thing is the performance: being so expensive, here in Mexico it’s a 200-dollar indulgence.
I never thought about buying a Gucci; the brand always sounded excessive and tacky to me, plus I have friends who go crazy just for the logo. But I was gifted the Flora in December and I was blown away: it smells exquisite, a soft and perfectly balanced floral I’d never tried before. It’s pure floral, nothing more—beautiful and spot on. The bottle and name fit perfectly. It’s ideal for daytime, and I’ll be using it a lot this summer. The only downside is it doesn’t last at all; I have to reapply every couple of hours. Despite that, everyone has complimented it, and I’d definitely buy it again even if its sillage is poor.
