  • I bought L’IMPERATRICE by Dolce & Gabbana from Beauty Prestige International, made in France (without the number 3), with high expectations since it’s a D&G. What a disappointment! I can’t find the notes; it’s just an alcohol opening followed by a very faint fruity smell (I think watermelon). I had to reapply it 3 or 4 times, and even then, I barely detect it on skin or clothes. Poor performance, as there are much better body mists available 😒. Still, I’ll keep using it to see if it improves someday, though I doubt it 😔.

  • I was very surprised when I applied it. Instantly, it created a sweet, wide projection. In my experience, D&G fragrances are usually softer—that was the first surprise, but it was just the beginning. It’s an aquatic watermelon that reminds me of a relaxing bath with floating strawberries. That ozonic, watery touch transports me to eating watermelon by the pool in summer… those are the most prominent notes for me. I wish I could smell more kiwi to break up the sweetness, but it’s barely noticeable. While it seems different and charming, I think I’d hate it soon. I have low tolerance for notes that remind me of humidity. If the notes appeal to you, I encourage you to try it, especially since it’s available at a great price. I definitely associate it with summer and good weather.

  • It’s a very fresh fragrance, perfect for a sunny, hot day; the scent is highly refreshing. However, every time I apply it, the rhubarb makes me sneeze a lot. The kiwi, watermelon, and ozonic notes are very noticeable. The downside is that, on me, it doesn’t last even 3 hours 😢.

  • Perfumesjuveniles

I smelled it for the first time today at the airport duty-free, and wow. I won’t comment on performance since I haven’t worn it long, but I loved the scent and almost bought it. Very fruity; it feels out of place in winter but would be perfect in summer. I didn’t buy it due to reviews claiming poor longevity and projection.

  • I absolutely love this perfume. The floral and citrus opening gives me energy and calm; it’s slightly effervescent and very innocent. The watermelon is fresh, not too sweet, with a watery vibe. However, it lacks longevity, so I carry a spray to reapply—I don’t mind since I’m addicted to perfume. Still, I won’t repurchase it; I’d rather keep exploring scents that last longer. In the tropical category, I’m dying for Leisure in Paradise (they don’t share notes, but the vibe is similar).

  • Anggy1997

The first time I smelled it, I thought of those fancy clothing boutiques—specifically the room sprays they use there. It’s not a bad perfume, but I associated it with that lol.

  • Perfect for spring and summer if you don’t want citrus: it’s a sweet fruity fragrance where kiwi, rhubarb, and especially watermelon stand out. It feels refreshing and aquatic thanks to the high water content in the fruits, while the rest just adds sweetness. Moderate trail and longevity, about 4 hours on skin and longer on clothes. Easily found for €30 for 100ml, so it’s a great value fragrance for good weather.

Summer is what this fragrance evokes for me: ideal for this season because it’s super fruity, yet not sweet or childish, but fresh and aquatic. Every time I wear it, my mouth waters; it’s delicious. Unfortunately, its performance is poor, lasting only 3 to 4 hours on my skin with a low trail, but it’s recommended for enduring high temperatures.

  • This was my first love; I still have a soft spot for it even though my tastes have changed. I was captivated by its freshness and natural watermelon scent, though sometimes I caught a hint of chamomile tea. The best part is its sweetness, freshness, and tropical fruity notes. Very good for daytime and hot seasons or spring—a classic, even if simple.

  • Super fruity scent, with kiwi and watermelon dominating at first. Very fresh and lovely, but on my skin it didn’t last more than two hours 🥲; by the end of the day, I didn’t even remember I had worn it.

  • No way this toilette lasts more than six hours; I can still smell it at eight or more. It doesn’t have a huge sillage or invade the room like Idole Nectar, but the scent is too rich. I wear it all year round, haha.

  • Honestly, it’s a great perfume. Very fruity and delicious at first. In the end, the sandalwood ties all the fruits together and makes it rich. It’s a very good summer perfume—fresh, tasty, and wearable. Perfect for cozy afternoons; I recommend it.

  • Andrecilla09

I was quite disappointed. I love the smell of watermelon and thought I’d adore it, but here it smells like overripe fruit. The drydown is better, but it still doesn’t last very long.

I bought it a week ago and I love it. I like fruity and fresh perfumes; this is a sweet freshness but nothing invasive. It’s feminine and has a delicate touch that makes it special. It’s not loud; it’s very intimate. I’d buy it again, though I wish it lasted longer. I’m going to try the Maison Alhambra dupe, and it just arrived—it’s practically the same but lasts much longer. From now on, only this dupe.

  • PerfumateJulia

One of my favorites; I’d buy it a thousand times. Fresh, cheerful, clean, and super light, yet it lasts well. It’s aquatic and fruity thanks to the watermelon, so it never gets heavy. It’s summery but works for any occasion—truly ideal.

  • Loreamaranta

I love its freshness and cheerfulness. I wear it all year round without issues. Reminds me of Chance Eau Tendre but juicier and less acidic. I was worried the watermelon might smell artificial, but it’s very subtle; the kiwi actually stands out more. An original and lovely scent.

  • proxarcadia

I was looking for something for summer since I’ve always preferred sweet scents like Escada and I’m not a fan of citrus, but this captivated me. I have a dupe (Equivalenza 126) because of my migraines and I avoid the pepper in the original, but it’s 99% identical and I can’t stop using it. It starts citrusy and transitions into intense aquatic notes that blend with the skin. I apply a lot because it never feels heavy or cloying. Will definitely repurchase.

  • cherrylady

I stumbled upon this by accident and was blown away. It’s a fruity bomb with serious personality—nothing like your typical citrus. The kiwi and watermelon work beautifully. Smells like a fresh, happy summer; I can’t stop reaching for it.

Inspired by Tarot Arcana III, The Empress, it speaks of feminine power and attracting a man while hiding behind his masculinity. It’s a strong, astute, feminine, and maternal woman, empowered but aware that this power comes from another, which is why she always knows what to do before him. This is the perfume: magical, powerful, and timeless. It’s about making yourself feel and marking a presence, but enough, since The Empress shouldn’t overshadow The Emperor. It’s a juicy scent that makes your mouth water the moment you spray it, yet subtle and non-intrusive, giving you the urge to apply more and more. On my skin, there’s no need to reapply because it lasts for hours; if I want more projection, I do, but it’s not necessary. The first thing I smell is peach, even though it’s not listed, and the rhubarb gives it an acidic touch; usually, I don’t like rhubarb, but here the balance is perfect, and I love it. Over time, it fades down to a scent of little fruits and exquisite cleanliness. It’s original; it doesn’t smell like current fruity perfumes. It came to me by chance; my aunt bought it in Panama and didn’t like it, and it took me a while to understand why, but it was a bonus when I found out it was inspired by the Tarot, since I’m a card reader… It was summer, but in autumn with the cold, I fell in love. I recommend it blindly; the longevity and projection are excellent; you can smell it around you, and it doesn’t bother anyone. I’m going for the second bottle; I love it.

  • oliendobonito

It smells like a fruit cocktail. If you like the watermelon or melon note, this perfume is for you. Ideal for summer, it’s fresh, playful, youthful, and zero fuss. It’s affordable compared to other Dolce & Gabbana perfumes.

  • Rox12goodlook

I get a very sweet, rotting fruit scent from it; it’s so unbearable that it gave me a headache. At first, it seems fresh and soft, fruity like watermelon and melon (even though I don’t have them, it smells more like melon to me), but after 5 minutes, the unpleasant rotting fruit scent starts, which I can’t stand.

  • The first impression was that it was too potent… the watermelon with kiwi, I never would have imagined that. On my skin, it lasts until the next day; I shower and it’s still there; very long-lasting. For me, it’s an autumn/winter scent; I find it too strong for summer. There’s something about it that invites me to try it more, but I’m afraid it might overwhelm me; I’m not sure if I’ll buy it to see if I really like it. It reminds me of a 90s cologne, Amarande. Finally, I bought it, and it’s addictive; I like it more and more each time.

  • I love it; it’s my favorite perfume right now. I first tried it as a decant and then decided to buy the bottle. It’s my first ‘expensive’ perfume, and I have no regrets, even though it lasts quite a bit on my skin (about 6 hours). It’s sweet-fruity, not cloying, feels fresh and clean. I love it.

  • It’s not the best I’ve heard, but it has something addictive. On my skin, the watermelon and kiwi are very present, but not sweet or cloying; instead, they’re tender and calming thanks to the sandalwood. It sounds like a fruity summer body splash, but with better longevity. It also smells like expensive shampoo, lotion, clean, and freshly showered. I see it as ideal for stifling hot days. I would buy it; it’s very pleasant. It’s a particular scent, so I recommend testing it on your skin first.

  • To be honest, I like it quite a bit. It’s a sweet but subtle and soft scent, very spring-like. Plus, it doesn’t cloy. I like it.

  • Tatianastoattoa

Smells like a princess, delicacy, and pink. If they could make the scent match the color, it would be this. It’s fruity without being cloying; it’s present but not intrusive. Perfect for those seeking calm and that freshly showered feeling. As an EDT, the longevity is good. I wore it in the morning during summer, and by afternoon people asked if I’d applied more perfume. I was surprised because I couldn’t smell it on myself anymore, but others could. It’s beautiful, and I’ll be repurchasing.

  • I love the opening, but it dries down quickly on my skin and leaves a smell of rotting fruit 😓 What a pity.

  • Blabbychip94

I’m surprised by how exquisite this scent is. It has a refreshing opening, softens as it dries, but constantly delivers delicious sweetness and freshness. I feel it’s extremely versatile, an all-rounder suitable for any circumstance, though I wouldn’t recommend it in extreme cold because, while it would be pleasant, it wouldn’t shine as much.

  • Elenperfume

Predominant watermelon scent, feeling almost wet. It’s perfect for peak summer when the heat is unbearable. It doesn’t last very long, but I like to have it for very casual occasions because it’s also affordable. It gives off vibes of a sweet girl but a bit bratty, like a 90s movie teenager. It makes me feel like I smell good and lifts my mood, but I think Pom Pom by Maison Matine, which has a similar profile, would be a better choice.

  • It’s fresh and soft. Ideal for a get-together with friends on a summer afternoon or for the gym. It’s not aggressive at all and doesn’t leave a strong trail.

  • Jess Jiménez

Smells like a pretty girl, a well-bred girl, a rich girl… What a wonder! Feminine, fruity, and floral. Pink at first, then turns slightly green, smells pretty, expensive… Extraordinary watermelon, a touch of kiwi freshness, sweet. Then comes the bitter hit of rhubarb, balanced perfectly with the freshness of those flowers. It’s elegant yet simple, fresh and sweet at the same time. It feels expensive, even though it isn’t. Clean and striking without being overwhelming, with an imposing personality without shouting… How pleasant and versatile… I’d wear it for an informal outing on a cool afternoon. But it would be super great for the office or a more formal occasion. It’s one of those fragrances you have to smell on your wrist over and over; slightly addictive. A super clean and elegant bottle, very sophisticated simplicity. Reasonable price considering all it offers; it lasts forever. Completely surprised and totally in love.

  • Smells like the birth of Venus and her entourage of angels and cherubs. Seashells, sea water, beach shine. Summer art studio. Gallery in a big, wealthy city. I bought it in 2009 and repurchased it in 2020. I love it, but I feel the need to let it go now that it’s become so popular. Maybe we’ll meet again another time…

  • It starts with a very pleasant watermelon and fruity opening, but the dry down feels very musky, which I don’t like much because it reminds me of a market fruit stand. I expected more based on the note description and such a promising opening.

  • Fresh and floral opening. The watermelon is very fresh. I had a lot of hype after reading reviews, but it’s quite generic with mediocre performance. This brand is known for fragrances that cost more than they deliver. They have good scents, but the quality is questionable.

  • locadelosperfumes

I absolutely love this fragrance. I bought it a few years ago but didn’t use it because I had other perfumes. My bottle doesn’t show the number 3, but I assume it’s the same one. I only detect watermelon and a bit of kiwi. I’m going to use it all summer in Argentina; I really need it.

  • I bought the EDT blindly. It smells great, super fresh—like a perfume you could sleep in. It leaves you feeling freshly bathed all day. The only downside is the longevity; as a regular user, this is the first fragrance that fades so quickly. I don’t know if there’s another version, but this one runs out fast and needs reapplication every two hours. That’s why I don’t recommend it; there are body mists on the market that smell the same, are cheaper, and last longer.

  • I love it; it’s my favorite for hot weather and the beach. Fruity, floral, sweet, aquatic, crystal-clear, clean, and fresh notes. Everything I need to feel happy in spring and summer.
